service team and the manager
Not informed that one of their service on my car's battery was an issue and they did not tell me that. I got the battery flat today. Although the manager supposed to ring me up for explanation but he did not. After all the manager said to me "we have done nothing wrong."

Have bought 5 cars over 16 yrs and all serviced there.
I have very high expectations from who ever I do businesses with. Max Kirwan sales and service staff usually meet, or exceed my expectations. That said to balance out this review, there have been two occasions, during this time where I bought from others on price. So well done getting me back to buy another car this week. Well done all!

Frightingly terrible
Worked at the place for a few years so every BAD thing people are saying is true. Rude sales people, the General Manager Paul will argue with staff in front of customers, 2nd hand cars are overpriced btw.

What a great experience
We recently purchased a Mazda CX5 from Max Kirwan Mazda which we are so very happy with, we were looked after by a gentleman who worked there by the name of Nick L. Who was attentive, knowledgeable and very courteous.
We would highly recommend if your in the market to buy a Mazda to drop in and see Nick L.

Total Lack of Service and Care Factor 0
I was genuinely in the market to purchase a car, however after the lack of service and unprofessional approach by the majority of staff (except Mary on reception) decided to buy another type of car - they obviously have some key problems within the team dynamics and also 'fatigue' - as the most popular SUV in Australia they are no doubt annoyed at everyone coming into the car yard and not buying. If so, the sales people need to get another job - don't blame the people coming in to view and buy a mazda. Awful service stay away!

Changed their mind easily...
Dealership was interested in buying our mazda3 back after we pop it up on Carsales. Agreed on a price which is way below what we popped up but less fuss however after driving in early morning, salesman changed their mind and went below the agreed price saying car needs lots of changes like new wheels and full service even though we purchased the car 4 years ago from them and we actually go to them to do yearly services!! Waste of our time as we know full well they would make a hell pf a profit. We walked away but salesman was cocky enough to say give him a call if we dont sell as we won't be able to get much more then what they are offering.... jokes on you.. we did sell it for 1.5k more with less attitude!

Rudest car salesperson
I went to test drive a CX5 used car and potentially ex-demo, the sales man was rude and offensive towards me. I have never been treated so appallingly considering I was the customer. Awful man, bought a car later that day and if I wasn't interested in the car I would have left just by how I was spoken to

Beware, Salespeople omit important information to secure a sale - ZERO Duty of Care!
I went into Mazda to look at a CX9, Agreed upon a changeover price for a new CX9 and trade in of my car, I was told verbally that I had a 3 day cooling off period where a $2000 deposit was fully refundable.
I was in a hurry to collect children from kinder and asked to come back the next day at 11 to go through paperwork, I was pressured into signing paperwork by 3 salespeople in a small office, they did not read or go over any of the contract just pointed out where to sign and initial on a few pages.
I returned the following day to cool ...Read more
off and they then explained that they would be charging me a 2% cool off fee which is clearly stated on your paperwork. I explained that I had been told by the samesman that it was fully refundable. I was then spoken to by the sales manger followed by the general sales manager and they both told me bad luck you are legally bound by the paperwork which you initialled and that our sales people are not required by law to tell you that you are liable for the 2% cool off and again that I should have read it. Extremely disappointed with this outcome it has ruined the experience of buying a new car, I would not recommend Max Kilwinning Mazda, take your time do not let the Sales people pressure you into signing anything on the spot.Similar opinion? Very happy customer!
I went in to Max Kirwan Madza yesterday and ended up sitting down with Andrew and signed a contract for a new top of the range Madza CX 3. That night I realised that I had gone well outside of my budget. So I rang Andrew the following morning to tell him I no longer wanted to purchase the car. As per the contract, if I was to pull out of the contract in the cooling off period, then I was to pay a fee of $741 (2% of the purchase price).
Andrew was more than accommodating and threw out alternative options. I ended up going back to the dealers...Read more
hip and purchasing a different Mazda CX 3 with a couple of extras at a very good price. And avoided having to pay the $741 fee! If anyone is considering purchasing Mazda, I highly recommend you call Max Kirwan and ask for Andrew directly. Was a pleasure to deal with him with no added pressure. Genuine guy who will help you find what you're after. Thanks Andrew!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Amazing staff
Today my dad and I got CX-9 and it such a pleasant experience. The sales consultant attending to us was Andrew. He was very patient and also not too pushy. We came in a few days ago to test drive the car and he was very helpful and honest about the pros and cons of getting the car. I would highly recommend him!

Disgusting Manager Behaviour
After being strongly pressured into signing a contract for a brand new cx9 my husband and I changed our minds during the cooling off period. As per our rights we contacted the manager [name removed] to let him know of our decision, only to have him be incredibly rude and aggressive towards my wife demanding to know why we had changed our minds. Apparently her explanation that we changed our minds due to feeling pressured to sign a contract above our decided budget was not good enough so [name removed] then ranted about how he “believes someone ...Read more
from another dealership had gotten into our heads and poisoned our minds” (direct quote). After a ten minute long, traumatic conversation with this manager my wife finally managed to get the information required to evoke our rights for the cooling off period and has put these steps into action. We are disgusted at the behaviour of the MANAGER of Max Kirwan Mazda and will NEVER deal with or recommend them in the future.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS--WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER ACCOUNTED
I was looking for spare parts for my son's old Mazda Mx6, they told me not available anymore, I asked where I could get them, they told me to try every other dealership or auto shop in the state, in otherwords go away. Terrible customer service. I was thinking of buying a new Mazda6 from there, definitely will not be going back there. Just to mention, my friend booked his daughters car there for service, when she got home, the back wheel came loose and nearly fell off, one of their mechanics forgot to tighten the bolts properly. This shows what kind people Mr Maxi employs, incompetent, unreliable and useless people, what ever you do, do not buy, especially have your car serviced there, I would look elsewhere..

Brand new vehicle with damaged wheel
Paid for a brand new vehicle, received a vehicle with a front passenger damaged wheel, after numerous phone calls, emails & meeting with manager still hasn't been rectified after 2 months. With evidence of their negligence the next step will be Vcat court.

Terrible Customer Service from the Car Service Department! WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
I had absolutely terrible customer service, from Tracey in the service department. She was so rude when I called and had to reschedule an appointment, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Once I got off the phone, I decided to call another car dealership and book in with them, because I never wanted to be spoken to the way Tracey spoke to me ever again.
