WORST COMPANY EVER - AVOID
Moved into a 1 bed apartment.
Got asked to sign a 12 month lease (presume as they wanted someone to sign up for that length due to COVID). Fair enough I signed out of good faith.
Had to pay a new internet development fee which is standard for new builds. Had to battle 4 months to get it as the building manager was saying ‘The tenant must pay’. This is not the case. This is the owners responsibility as it’s a 1 time fee meaning the next tenants wouldn’t have to pay when they moved in.
The sink in the kitchen fell away from its shell. Had to get someone out to look at that.
Aircon broke twice and engineer had to come out twice. Literally had to chase chase and chase during summer months for this to get fixed.

Read moreDryer door was broken when we entered the property and is still broken 5 months on. Again a constant battle to get this repaired. Meriton rules that you cant dry your clothes on the balcony. Not sure where else given no dryer....... Plumbing pumps had not be penetrated so water could leave the washing machine to go down the drain. Building manager said the tenant was responsible for this despite any damages I could possible cause. I signed a lease agreement with MERITON and now they’re saying because 1 section was not filled in (on their end) I still have to pay some fee’s that I never agreed to/signed. Overall a SHOCKING experience and would strongly recommend in avoiding these clowns. Happy to accept your money at the start. Then do nothing for you after that. Overpriced and poor quality for that you pay. Don’t be disguised by their 5* appearance buildings. Really they’re a two at best. Roll of when the lease ends. AVOID

It was a nice stay for a couple of months
Moved in to Chatswood Meriton serviced apartment for a few months last year when out home was water damaged. We had a great view from the 24th floor in a one bedroom suite.
Cons- upon arrival we had to wait for an hour as the booking was made with the long term staff which are not onsite. So there was a lot of back and fro. The carpark parking was also time consuming. The suite wasn’t cleaned to my standard. It looked like someone spat food on the windows behind the curtains, a bit of mould in the bathroom. Used or not wash well plates put bac...
