It was a nice stay for a couple of months
Moved in to Chatswood Meriton serviced apartment for a few months last year when out home was water damaged. We had a great view from the 24th floor in a one bedroom suite.
Cons- upon arrival we had to wait for an hour as the booking was made with the long term staff which are not onsite. So there was a lot of back and fro. The carpark parking was also time consuming. The suite wasn’t cleaned to my standard. It looked like someone spat food on the windows behind the curtains, a bit of mould in the bathroom. Used or not wash well plates put bac...Read more

Excellent
We had the pleasure of staying for 8 days at the Meriton on Sussex St in Sydney. I say pleasure because from the moment we were met by the very courteous staff (special thanks Stefan) to the immaculately clean room, made our stay in Sydney a pleasure.

Windows can't handle the wind!
We stayed here for a weekend on the 73rd floor. The windows didn't seal properly so we either had to open them (not ideal for cold winds!) or put up with the constant screaming whistle. The suites are nice. They're large and comfortable. The views are pretty amazing. No food on premises which is a bit annoying and parking is pricy. Overall it was fine but the windows really ruined it.

Ideal but theres room for improvement
Recently moved to Sydney and staying at Meriton Serviced Apartments. They are cozy apartments, conveniently located. Stay is comfortable but feel there is room for improvement for house keeping/cleaning standards and health club.

Extremely Disappointed!!
I only stay at the Meriton when I travel and am more than happy to rate them 5 stars every single time. That was until I stayed at the Meriton on Herschel Street, Brisbane. I had booked a Penthouse for the weekend. I had a confirmation email with the total amount my room was going to cost for the weekend . Whilst checking in, I was informed that I also needed an extra $2000 for a bond. I had never been asked for a bond before. This information should be clearly visible on the email and should be included in the total cost of the room so ...Read more
everyone is aware of the bond and don't get that surprise thrown at them when checking in. The staff were quite rude not very helpful. They didn't want to listen or consider any customer suggestions and everything was too much of an effort for them.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Not as experienced as they look
Recently, movies into a unit managed by Meriton in FERNTREE place, Epping.
1. As the building manager, Meriton does not provide a booklet to explain how thing work in the apartment:
# recycle and general waste bin location, how to dispose of large items.
# what happens if the fire alarm goes off.
# location and working hours of the gym and the pool.
# a schematic building plan with the locations of the emergency exits and assembly points.
# the location of the allocated car park and storage room.
# instructions regarding moving in or out days.
2. I guess the unit was not inspected upon the previous tenant moving out:
# the aircons were not usable since their remote controls were missing....Read more

The poorest service!!!! Do not recommend
I usually love booking into the Meriton and have previously given them 5 star elsewhere however when checking in today my service was absolutely appalling!!!!! Will never ever return to mascot central after today! When service is everything, the front desk counts as it is the first point of contact. I usually stay here regularly as my home away from home but today ... the hotel staff made judgements about me which was not very nice. Thankfully there is a Meriton built 5 minutes away mascot airport which I, from now on will choose to give my bus...Read more
iness to!! Here’s hoping they don’t share the same staff or manager because the service now at Mascot Central is an absolute disgrace!! Absolutely disgusting service! If there was a no star option I’d give the team at Mascot Central that! I don’t know what has changed but never ever again will I book at Mascot Central. Meriton Airport is great however I Do not recommend Mascot Central If 5 star non judgmental service is extremely important to your hotel experience!Similar opinion? Very Happy
Meriton went over and above to make my 70th birthday, 2 night stay memorable. I requested a high level floor with river views which is exactly what we got. Fantastic. Thank you so much for making our stay so good.

Old shonky apartments with BIG price tag on them
I’ve stayed in many meriton serviced apartments and rented their horrible apartments. Firstly for the serviced apartments the quality of the rooms is horrible with everything falling to pieces done by a crappy renovation, the price is unjustifiable for this hotel with most of the guests being young party goers who do not let you have a peaceful nights sleep. On the other hand the rental apartments are even worse with the meriton customer service being awful & meriton dictating which electrical and internet providers you can use for the apartments which never work.
This company is the definition of cheapskate...
Do not waste your money... stay with any other good quality developer possible, i.e. Frasers, Crown Developments and Mirvac.

Slow service at reception/cold water in the room
I booked two days at the Meriton hotel in Bondi junction and I regret it service is very slow there are always queues at the reception. Worse still, the water’s cold in the shower. I complained about it they told me that I have to leave the water running for 10 min to warm it up”you know you’re three floors down from the top it takes time for the water to warm up” (???) they claim to offer luxurious accommodation (without hot water??) I’ll never stay at this place again. Huge mistake

Highly Recommended Meriton
Have stayed at Meriton on a number of occasions. The suites are modern and the views are incredible. Upon our recent visit at Southport Brisbane (22nd June 2018) the Duty Manager was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Would definitely recommend.

Extremely disappointed
After being a loyal and consistent Client at Meriton apartments Notably city and North Sydney for a long time spending more time there than my own home.
I found myself in a situation whereby Meriton did not look at my best interest and safety as a loyal client but instead made me feel like I was was a criminal.
In respect to Meriton I acted according and calmly to my plight
In stead of support and care I was only told I was not to return to any Meriton locations. Am still in shock at being treated so unjustly and may seek Legal advice now see them only money hungry will no care concern for others.
Looking at other hotel chairs maybe a blessing.

Beware: This hotel's idea of a king bed is two single beds joined together!
Overall, great service, great staff, clean appartments.
For the price we pay we expect a king size bed to be a king size bed. But their idea of a King size bed is to join two single beds.
Yes, you heard it right.
Good luck people. Enjoy your beauty sleep on two single beds joined together-as Meriton calls it a King size. LOL

Worst customer service!
NEVER EVER AGAIN! No focus on customer service, all they want is money and increasing the rent. When you move in you need to consider that you might get kicked out again. Happened to me 2 times in 5 months "without any reason". Their response was "We are Meritons - we can do whatever we want." Ridiculously unfriendly staff and rent is already too high. Never ever Meritons again!

Meriton Vantage South, Old Buildings, Bad Management, Even Worse Maintenance-Excruciating Experience
We live in the meriton vantage south building, started renting in 2018. Our move in day was delayed several time due to incomplete renovations and painting, although that we had paid for it. The unit was in bad conditions, with ACs not working (in January's Heat) and burn marks on the carpet. Even after we moved in we had tons of issues, including plumbing and all.
The building manager is more concerned with renting out the apartments rather than resolving the building issues, when you enter the parking there is an off putting garbage smell a...Read more

Very Concerning
I stayed 2 nights at the Meriton Chatswood. I booked the second night online on the morning of the second day, went to work and phoned the front desk before 9am to see if I needed to check out and check in again. I was told no, it would all be okay, to come and pay for the second night and have my entry pass extended, when I finished work. I did this. Sitting in my room early that evening I noticed that all the cupboard doors, laundry, bedroom etc were open. The tap leaver in the bathroom was not on the tap. It was sitting on the basin. On chec...Read more
king, my food in the fridge had been rearranged, as had my clothes in the wardrobe, and my suitcase. I am really horrified to say that the staff had gone to my room and commenced to check me out. They packed and unpacked my bag and possessions, can you believe? They had my mobile number, why not call? I am (was) a fairly regular stayer. The night manager confirmed that my food had been removed from the fridge by the housekeeping staff and my bag and goods had been packed (and unpacked). So, when was I going to be told? Chicken, out of the fridge, handled by cleaning staff, and just put back in. If I had not queried, then I would not have been told. It took 2 phone calls and eventually the night manager came to my room. He claimed that the food would not have been out of the fridge for more than 20 minutes - hey, it is heat wave summer conditions, and there was no comment even about he basics of cleaning staff handling food and not discarding it. I asked if the food had been placed in the garbage and been retrieved - oh no, that wouldn't have happened. How can you guarantee? What about cleaning staff handling it? They clean across the whole hotel. Sadly this is not my first bad experience at the Meriton Chatswood, and like last time, the response included to please come stay again (at my expense) so that we can show you how we really do it. Have seen it twice now, never again. I submitted this review to TripAdvisor 6 days ago and am still waiting for it to be published. A review for another hotel submitted 5 days ago has been published. Beware of Parking at Meriton Zetland
I don’t know if my experience is standard Meriton practice or a local initiative by building management to deal with the demand for parking. For some, a whiff of authority can be a dangerous thing. Regardless, it suggests the need for proper supervision of staff who manage the day-to-day operations of its various sites. If behaviour of this kind goes unchecked, it could make Meriton a less desirable place to live or stay.
It was almost 11pm on a weeknight. I was visiting a friend to collect a pair of glasses accidently left behind. She was ...Read more
staying in a newly opened building in the Meriton precinct of Zetland in Sydney. It’s here that Meriton has adopted ‘Clover Moore’ street design which means you stand a better chance of winning first division in lotto than of finding a park on the street. So, I drove to the gate of the underground car park and buzzed the apartment I was visiting. As the gates opened, the voice from the intercom said to drive down the ramp and I would find visitor parking against the left-hand wall. I descended the ramp and found myself in a sea of disabled parking. The bays were all numbered except those against the left wall where I’d been instructed to park and instead of numbers these were marked with letters of the alphabet. Why all were ‘disabled’ was a mystery. I presumed the bays with numbers were assigned to units and those with a letter of the alphabet were for visitors. I sought the reassurance of signage that indicated visitor parking but there was none. Nor was there anything in the form of conditions of entry. It took less than 15 minutes to collected my glasses and I returned to find a large red ‘You are parked ILLEGALLY’ sticker plastered on my passenger side window with super-adhesive glue. It stated that my number plate has been noted and a $550 fine may follow. The truth is I hadn’t done anything illegal - it was Meriton that had acted unlawfully. Not only was it unlawful to apply a sticker to my car, what was printed on the sticker was illegal as well. You see, only the government has the authority to issue 'fines' and if a private car park issues a fine or threatens to issue one – it’s considered misleading and unlawful conduct.Similar opinion?
