It was as stated in the advert. Easy and simple. There were no hidden extras in the costings. I have booked an inside cabin as I travel alone, and as I have travelled this way previously, I have found it perfect for me.

I found Cruise Guru to be quite a bit cheaper than others. The booking process was easy and straightforward. The hardest part now is to wait for 2 months...grrr. But we are sooo looking forward to it.

False advertising from your company is not acceptable.
My experience with booking with you online was very disappointing. You showed an amount for the cruise one evening when I tried to book a cabin for $1200. Then when I clicked to go into book, the price changed to $1700 plus. It came up some sort of “group exists for this booking”, blocking me from booking it for the $1200. I m was so angry. You were false advertising. I will be sending the photo snaps/screen shots I took of the two different prices you advertised that evening to consumer affairs to look at further.
Never again will I be bookin...g with you again. You don’t follow consumer practices like you should. You run your business ruthlessly. I called your call centre the following day to ask why two different prices were showing when trying to book online. The consultant couldn’t help me with getting the cabin for the advertised price. She appeared to have no customer care factor at all. No help or assistance was provided. Further customer service training is needed here with your staff you employ. No empathy at all during the call.

Re: Adelaide to New Zealand to Adelaide cruise on Sapphire Princess in December 2020 for 2 couples in their twilight years!! Had searched and phoned numerous cruise sites and appeared ship booked out already. Very disappointed as very much looking forward to this particular cruise. We live in country SA so can drive to Adelaide to and from and no airports, flights and extra accomodation. Then we tried Cruise Guru this afternoon - phoned, booked, deposit paid, confirmation email received, emailed invoice received- all done. With much appreciation for assistance, professional help and understanding from their booking person, Noora. We will be certainly dealing with Noora/Cruise Guru again and have passed on to our travelling friends.
EASY, seamless way to book
Booking process was very straight forward and easy. Second time I have used this method and found both times to be user friendly. Only takes a couple of minutes and all is done.
Easy Website to Negotiate
I was able to do my booking on the website with great ease. I do not like having to submit requests for information and then waiting for a reply to get prices etc. and it was good to be able to bring up the information there and then. I booked 12 months in advance and other agents were demanding large deposits whilst Cruise Guru required a very reasonable deposit. I would definitely consider them again.

to book 2 Mini Suites was very slow, I had tried to do this online, but was unable to allocate the 2 future cruise credits required, so I had to ring. My call took 44 mins to complete. We got there in the end.

My preferred option-Cruise Guru
Over many years I've been on 33 cruises and am booked on two through Guru this year. I have found them very effective and whilst it can pay you to do a comparison across net booking company s, I feel confident and secure using Guru. I have had no problems at all and stateroom numbers and details are seamless through to my preferred cruise line, Royal Caribbean. I am 'Diamond' this later this year and Platinum with Princess. Access to the RCL site and your booking is no problem. ((unless you are a 'Guaranteed' cabin booking, and have to wait no...matter who you book through)). Preferred dining time is asked on booking and outside of that I just stay clear of alterations. Other options like tours can be booking through the cruise company site. I used to be a direct booker to the cruise line (and all types of bookings for that matter)) but the following will give an example of why I check availability & cost from them and Guru. On a recent check some net companies have used their allotment and if your after the ultimate price, a check and with them & the cruise line can pay off both for cost and availability. However, I'll always remember having RCI on the line with the last stateroom, and being quoted full price for a 'Guaranteed cabin' and Guru being much less. I think I saved $1000 that time. When the Stateroom number came through, we had one amongst the other expensive ones overlooking the stern. Perfect. RCI though, allocates Guaranteed cabins. I don't waste my time any more and just check cost/availability through the cruise line and Guru. Perfectly happy with the service and a seamless pass over to the cruise line.

Helen in reservations was extremely helpful and explained all details really well. As this is my first cruise and some of the reviews for the ship were not great, it was reassuring to have such a professional explains all aspects of what was included.

There were many varieties of foods including an entire Japanese food section. The quality was nice as expected and exceeded the usual Princess Cruises standard.
The service onboard was also fabulous. The crew members were all incredibly friendly and very helpful. They will do their very best to meet the needs of their guests no matter how big or small the requirement may be. We had a wonderful time.
