8 Day Egypt Tour
Perfectly planned and executed trip - Nile Cruise and two days in Cairo. Just wish we had stayed longer and will plan to go back to add-in what we missed this time. The only concern was the non-scheduled "dead time" sitting on the boat in port. We asked to add something to fill the hours (Luxor museum, for example) and were unable to arrange this. An amazing journey from planning to return home
This was our first travel experience with Odynovo, and it was so smooth. Louis Huang was extremely helpful - and patient- in letting us revise the 22 day Vietnam-Cambodia-Laos-Thailand trip multiple times. He offered suggestions to make it our own. We were able to revise the standard itinerary to include unforgettable experiences. We were even able to view the rare Royal Barge Procession final practice in Bangkok, changing our "final" itinerary at the last minute. notified us-and our guides at both ends- when one internal flight was changed. Every one of our local guides went way beyond our expectations. Their knowledge of the local language, customs, and crowd schedules enriched every leg of our trip. They always asked if we wanted to flex, for example waiting a bit for lunch so that we could arrive at a busy site when it was least crowded. They were very knowledgeable and informative. They were also very personable, both to us and to their countrymen. We could stop and chat with locals much better than being in a large group or even on our own. Drivers and vehicles were great too. The windows were always spotless, and we were offered cold bottled water and a cold hand/face wipe in the heat. We chose the 4-star hotels, and they were beautiful. Abundant breakfast buffets, along with delicious "set menu" multi-course lunches were delicious. We never tired of the food, because it kept changing in each location. We often just needed a snack, usually at the night market or on the street, for dinner. Maybe we've become unsocial, but we did enjoy having meals on our own rather than with a group. Being just the two of us, my husband and I kept expecting to be clumped in with a large group. We never were. We felt extremely spoiled on our own private long-tailed boats, etc. Many of the "standard" parts of the itinerary were actually much more interesting than we had thought they would be. We both wholeheartedly endorse Odynovo and are telling all our friends and neighbors about their wonderful customized tours.1 comment

My wife and I spent 4 days on the road from Delhi to Agra, then from Agra to Jaipur, India. Our journey would have been impossible without Odynovo and the amazing company reps, tour guides, and of course, our driver.

make your trip far more likely to succeed than what you can ever do on your own (I thought about doing it on my own, but quickly put that idea down after realizing how daunting it must be to get every detail right). Company reps -- Arif Ahmad in Delhi, Vinay in Agra, and Mrityunjay (Jay) in Jaipur. They helped us to check in our hotels and explained the itinerary to us. When we first arrived at Delhi airport, it was after midnight. But Arif was there to greet us nonetheless. At the end of our trip, Jay accompanied us to the airport in Jaipur. These reps were there not merely to make you feel important. They helped to eliminate entirely the uncertainties you might feel about visiting a country you know little about. Tour guides -- Rajiv Trikha for Delhi, Aman Goyal for Agra, and Abid Khan for Jaipur. They led us to the doors, bought tickets for us, and explained the historic importance of each site we visited. Aman was especially creative in finding the best spot and angle for taking pictures, and he took plenty for us. We soon realized after the first couple of sites how valuable it is to have a knowledgeable guide to tell you stories behind each building, each location, and the historic figures who lived there. With so much to see, so little time, and so many people around you, you will certainly need someone to point out where to look, and to tell you why. Finally, Shabbir Karim -- the driver who accompanied us throughout our trip. At the end of journey, we became friends. You will quickly appreciate the skills of Shabbir after seeing the unruly Indian traffic. With Shabbir, we navigated the highways and local streets effortlessly. During the hours we traveled from Delhi to Agra, and from Agra to Jaipur, we talked about our families, kids, Indian culture and life, and so on. Shabbir is quick to point out the scenes peculiar to foreigners like us, for example the stray cows roaming on the roads, monkeys on the roof top, and many more.1 comment

Our family of 5 (two kids) just came back from a three-week vacation in Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam. Everything went perfect!
First, Mia Wang was our Odynovo travel agent. She was incredibly responsive and flexible to cater to our needs. She made great suggestions to fit our needs (e.g. temples, beach time, animal encounters, etc.) In the end our trip was amazing, everyone was happy.

A big plus - all our tour guides in Myanmar were Buddhist monks at one point in their lives so we got a great insight on local culture. That was amazing. We miss all of them already! Third, the places we visited were incredible - Halong Bay, Shwedagon Pagoda, Elephant Sanctuary ... many many more. Odynovo found some amazing hotels with great staff, swimming pools, etc. Shuttle vans were always clean, drivers ver courteous and helpful with our luggage. Odynovo really helped us appreciate the beauty and diversity of Southeast Asia in a unique way. This was a trip of a lifetime. We felt completely taken care by the entire staff. I am already calling Odynovo for our next trip.

was just the booking process! I cannot tell you how much it meant to me to have the representatives meet us at the airports. Not knowing the language and being a bit apprehensive about security, etc., they always met us before we arrived at immigration and handled all immigration formalities for us, except for Israel (Israeli security would not allow the representative inside the building). It also felt nice to have a warm and friendly face greeting you in a new destination. They then made sure we got our luggage and then took us to the waiting vehicle. We were never standing around waiting; it worked like clock-work in each country at each stop. The drivers and tour guides in each of the locations were absolutely fantastic. Great personalities; informative without being an information overload. Said, our driver in Cairo, was the best! He always checked to make sure we had water waiting for us in the car, and if we finished a bottle, a new one always magically appeared. We couldn't communicate with each other due to the language barrier, but we somehow seemed to understand each other! My two sisters and I traveled to Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia for two weeks from 12/14-28/19 in a customized tour with private rooms. Our Odynovo agent Allison Chiang was professional, nice to work with, and prepared us well for the trip. We applied for e-Visas as suggested and had no trouble with Immigration anywhere. e Lake in Myanmar and for our Mekong Cruise in Laos. We felt safe at all times! The breakfasts included in our package were excellent, while the lunches were hit and miss. Our daily program was varied and well balanced, including activities besides visiting temples and down time. The Apsara dinner show at Kanell in Siem Reap was a lot of fun! The only place we did not allow enough time was Bagan in Myanmar, where we should have stayed 2 days. We were pleasantly surprised that we hardly needed to change currencies as the USD was widely welcome (we took new bills in small denominations.) We were also able to charge our iPhones w/o adapters! Perfect and can’t ask for more
We booked a two weeks Indian tour with Catherine. She not only accommodated all our requests but was also taking care of us throughout the trip liaising with people in different cities. She is always super responsive and helpful. Our driver Pyare was also incredible: he has been doing this for 25 years and able to go everywhere without GPS. Car always clean and organized. Some of the Places to see in North India are New Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Khajuraho, Varanasi. New Delhi, Jaipur and Agra are close by, but best to travel by air to Khajuraho, Varanasi & Kathmandu (Nepal). I have not been living in India for several decades now, so am not very familiar with Air connection and travel to Bhutan. I am sure an organization like Odynovo will be able to help set it up.
Since you are looking at Odynovo, why not contact them and tell them what you like: food, culture, history, etc. And they will provide an itinerary as where to go and what to do for you to start.
