We've built 5 townhouses with Metro that have recently been completed and have been very happy with the build, value for money and process. We competitively tendered the build and Metro won on price and experience through providing some logical cost savings to get it within our budget, and a proactive approach to achieve our requirements.
The build quality is good and we're impressed with how quickly everything was wrapped up at the end. We had a few minor delays in approvals pre-construction, but Metro responded with a quick build time.
Final cost of the build was within budget and we're happy with the level of finish achieved for the budget.

Metro took over construction of our 2 houses from the previous builder that went into bankruptcy. They were fair and reasonable in their quotes and ensured that the transition was quick and seamless.
Journey through the Construction was overall comfortable. There were definitely some misses along the way but the build manager responded actively every time and fix them up as per the plan. Management of Metro (especially their Director) played a key role and demonstrated cooperation and understanding, which personally to me was helpful especially considering that we had gone through a lot already with the previous builder and then the insurance process. We are impressed with what's delivered to us as the end product.

We are so glad we chose to build with Metro. Our house was fully custom designed to suit our block and lifestyle. We found that they offered great value for money with their inclusions and no corners were cut with cheap fittings or fixtures.

During the build all trades took pride in their work and everything was finished to a very high standard. Any issues however big or small were sorted promptly by our supervisor Tom who went over and above.

Best of all Metro are FIXED PRICE so there were no surprises at any stage. We would happily choose to build with Metro again and recommend them to our friends and family

The build was managed well within the budget but we were told that it will finish in about 5-6 months but it took 8.5 months (inclusive of X'mas break). Build quality is very good and they even implemented a personal request on tiling design at the entrance of the home.
However, the windows screen (mesh) was loose-came off while putting curtains.

Our house had to be a custom design to fit on a cheese wedge shaped block on the water and we found that many builders just weren't interested going down that route but all to happy to sell us a plan from there booklets. Metro SA however couldn't have been more positive and with our basic idea and there experience created a home that not only looks great but now we have moved in works.
All house builds hit issues at some stage but it's how the builder handles them that shows there true quality and Metro SA stepped up and sorted any problems that came along to our satisfaction.
It was our first build and at the end of the day we are happy with the price and the finished product.

After disappointment because our previous builder went into liquidation, we are absolutely rapt with Metro’s completion of our house. Communication, quality and promptness was exemplary. We would definitely recommend Metro. Our final cost was what was quoted, so we weren’t out of pocket. Minor issues were sorted immediately by the supervisor.

I have recently moved into my new home built by Metro Homes SA. I cannot thank them enough for making this such a wonderful experience. The office staff, supervisor and the trades people where very professional, knowledgable and accommodating. I would certainly recommend Metro Homes to anyone wanting to build.

We have been dealing with Jess for a while. My son was going to build his first home. Jess went above and beyond for us to secure the land and make the changes to the house he picked. It was no issue for her to drive out to our house.. which is a rural property, and not a short drive, to deliver the plans and price..
Jess sat and went through everything, explaining to my son what was involved in building.. she was fantastic.
I can not recommend Jess enough.. and when my daughter builds in a couple of years she too will through Jess and Metro Homes.
And to top it off she is just a lovely young lady.

Extremely hard to have problems fixed, hard to have emails or calls returned. Finished build Nov 19 still awaiting things to be fixed. Have cracks in bricks that I have been told by another company are not service cracks but they are saying they are. House was delivered nearly 5 weeks late and not enough money was release to cover the finishing of my perimeter paving as they couldn't come up with a solution to stop the pavers touching the fence. House was broken into more than once yet I would visit the property and find it unlocked all the time.

Built a new home in 2016 with Metro and the whole process from Sales to Handover was seamless. The finished product was amazing and once we moved in we did not have to call them back to do any maintenance! Nothing! We have since sold this home and made a handy little profit that has enabled us to build another 2 homes down at Henley Beach, of which, one of them will be our dream home.

We have also recommended many friends and family to Metro who have also completed an amazing home for them too.

I've been very happy with Metro Property, so much so I will be building with them again. My second build Will go to site next month and we are very excited.

My initial experience with Metro Property was fantastic, the communication and support received during the whole process was great. As this was the first time building for me I was nervous but the guys at Metro message tithe while thing ago seamless and easy.

Metro Built Two dwellings for me in Blair Athol. They was built in a timely fashion to a high standard. it was a pleasant experience. we have lived in one of the dwellings for two years and it has maintained its quality throughout this time frame, no cracks, movement or wear and tear as of yet. this is a testament to the quality home they complete. I also went on to sell the other dwelling for a record price and had many interested parties wanting to purchase such a fantastic designed and built home.

I built my first home with Metro and had a great experience.

From the start the sales staff showed high knowledge in the product (and the building process as a whole) & conducted dealings in an honest and caring manner.

At the beginning the selections process appeared overwhelming, however my mind was put at ease once I spoke with the builder and their suppliers. By the end I was comfortable with the choices that I made.

Throughout the build I was kept well informed and the build time was within the time frame that was originally quoted.

I am happy with the end product and enjoying my first newly built home.
