A whole dedicated draw space to rot your vegetables - GREAT!
655L Multi Drawer MR-EX655W-N-A (Platinum Light)I recently spent 3k+ on a MR-EX655 based on the 5 star reviews its received here, however it rots my vegetables. The fridge has a whole large draw space set aside as a vegetable crisper however carrots last a day before starting to soften, and three days before going brown. Even a chilli didn't last long.
The dedicated bottom drawer has three areas to store vegetables - a large bucket (similar to standard vegetable crisper sections in a single door style fridge), a tray which slides on the bucket, and a section in front of the bucket. NOTHIN
... Read moreG stays crisp inside the bucket, which is far and away the largest area in the crisper drawer - it's useless and not fit for purpose. Secondly, didn't mitsubishi check the size of milk containers when designing the door shelves? You can only fit one 3L milk container (or any only large container) in the door, while other sections within the fridge can't accommodate any tall containers since NO internal shelves are height adjustable - you're kind of stuck with the shelf height the designers deemed satisfactory, which on regular occasions isn't convenient at all. With a fridge this size surely they'd assume you're feeding a large family and therefor may need more than one 3L bottle on hand, less you want to shop every second day. The fridge is overly complicated with the controls too, though this is probably true of any modern fridge. Note to fridge designers - people just want the thing to cool and freeze things so you can do away with 1000 customisable controls and functions - none of which are used regularly enough for you to remember what they did or how they work. The fridge is quiet, thought I can only compare it to my 20 year old Fisher & Paykel which after 20 years wasn't a church mouse - though it DID keep my vegetables crisp and fresh for a long time - which in my view is far more important that silent running.Details

Mitsubishi contacted me after I posted this review and offered to replace the fridge as they were convinced it was faulty. I accepted their offer however the replacement is doing exactly the same thin
