Loyalty doesn't always pay !!!
After 40 years with the same electricity company I ask what better deal was available, They said they had nothing to offer . So I checked out MOJO POWER, 1 Phone call convinced me I would save a lot of money with them . So concerned was my original supplier they ask what they could do for me, To keep me as one of their customers. MOJO POWER Has shown me the light . So the choice between ORIGIN and MOJO POWER was very simple.
Really good value
Very good at the moment great prices and easy payment plans very fast connection and affordable prices thank you .

So far I'm satisfied but let's wait and see. It's only been a few weeks but if everything is as good as sounds will definitely be recommending it to my friends & work colleagues at Essential Energy.

Double the price. Don't waste your time and money.
Where do I start? Signed up for Mojo smart meter facility, took 2-3 months to install and then gave actual realtime information like NEVER (which was the main reason I changed to Mojo) - maybe only 3-4 times over the 6 months I was with Mojo.
When I contacted Mojo about the meter not working as advertised, I was told I must be in an area that didn't have much 3G coverage (but they don't tell you that before you sign up and still charge an extra $10 per month premium).
In the last 3 months I was with Mojo I didn't receive any accounts from Moj...

Misleading Advertising...don't fall for it
The only way to really save any money is to purchase the ANNUAL energypass.
BUT at the same time (on the very same page) they promote.."FREE to leave, with no exit fees"
Of course though, it's not really free, because you will forfeit your energypass costs, which FAR EXCEED what the limit of any contract exit fees would actually be.
And whilst they will tell you that is all stated in the details, the way it is all promoted IS COMPLETELY DESIGNED TO MISLEAD YOU. There is no other reason to structure their payments that way.
So when they jack up their prices days after you sign up, you are locked in for a year, unless you want to throw away $250+ dollars.

Complete Rip Off
Sales people will tell you anything to get you across, was told that our meter would be read remotely each month and we could see details in the dashboard.
Once the cooling off period is gone by, find out energexl have no remote readable meters, they only way to get details is to pay extra for their smart meter.

Very disappointed
I wrote the very first review of this thread and at the time I had dealt with many power providers to get a deal after the NSW solar rebate scheme ending and Mojo were by far and away the most responsive and seemed to have the cheapest option, so signed up with Mojo in December, 2016. However, I have to say that our experience with Mojo since signing up has been less than satisfactory. Although a smart meter was installed in January which we thought was timely and no complaints, we have not been able to access the biggest benefit of the plan we...
Read more enrolled in with Mojo which is real time usage monitoring of our electricity usage. In other words we have a dumb smart meter, no ability to connect online and monitor and regulate our electricity usage to our advantage given we have solar panels. To add insult to injury, today we received notice from Mojo that the charges for our electricity will increase from April 12! Wow, this mob sure have some gall! My only concern now is that Mojo in an unregulated environment will continually increase their so-called wholesale rates every 6 months, or whenever the Stakeholders demand. Can't help but feel we were scammed by this mob. In the end the NSW State Government is to blame for the mess that we now have with NSW energy supply and cost.Related Articles

Energy rates
Moved to Mojo Power then they put their rates up 1 day after my cooling off period. They are a con job.
Hi Jim. Thanks for contacting us. We recognise the inconvenient timing of our price increase. If you would like to contact us directly at [email protected], our customer service team can discuss your account in more detail.
8 months- still no smart meter!
Signed up in August 2016- promised a smart meter within 2 weeks. Then 6 weeks. By Christmas I was jumping up and down (via email, as these guys do not provide phone support unless you pay them extra). It is April, and after numerous emails this year, many broken promised installation dates- they finally sent a technician yesterday who told me that i am unable to have a smart meter due to limitations in my meter room. Total waste of 8 months. Terrible service. Stick to the big guys.

Mojo Power not really cheaper
Mojo Power on the surface appears to be cheaper but when you take into account the Monthly Subscription fee you would need to be using well over 400 kw a month to be ahead, also, throw in the problem that you can't telephone them(everything is email), best to avoid the hassle, I only went with them to get a smart meter which took 5 months because they thought the town I lived in was a suburb of Sydney, very unprofessional.

Terrible Company - no followup
I applied to join Mojo in December, finally transferred over in January, in February the meter upgrade happened but still waiting for it to come on line. They never do what they say they are going to do, and unless you jump up and down then nothing will happen. No customer Service, no commitment.
April 22nd 2017 Update: Well Mojo does it again
Today I received an email from Mojo telling me my March Bill was overdue and they are going to cut my power. Funny thing is that my April bill shows that I had overpaid my Mach Bill and I have a neg...

From applying to join in early December Last year, to finally getting connect at the end of Jan, only this week did I finally get access to my daily usage (smart meter was installed over a month ago) Anyone reading this review please take note : Mojo is not a good company to deal with. What service.
I have paid extra to have the installation of the usage monitor. More than 3 months later still nothing. Their response is to credit $10 on a bill.
Service, what service? Oh, sorry, you thought you would have your power connected!
I arrange for Mojo to connect power to the house that we had purchased about three weeks before our move. It turns out that they apparently didn't do what they were supposed to do and without warning electricity to our house was disconnected. It was about 24 hours before they could get it connected, during which time I was told many lies about what was happening with respect to reconnection. Despite assuring me they would be in contact as soon as power was reconnected to arrange reimbursement of our expenses incurred, it has now been five we...
Read moreeks and I had to contact them - oh, and because I am not a premium customer I am not worth of having a manager speak to me to confirm reimbursement. I need to wait for them, with their usual customer service skills (AKA none!) to contact me when they feel like it.- Verified
A great experience.
To date my exprience has lived up to the savings that were projected. My expectaion is that our saving will be approximatley 25% of the previous years bill.
its power, just cheaper
I guess it's the same power, but I pay a fair bit less.
I have solar, and they installed a new meter so I can consume my solar power instead of drawing from the grid. no real problems.

DO NOT SIGN UP TO MOJO!!! YOU WILL REGRET!!
My partner was tricked into signing up with Mojo Power and we have had nothing but trouble ever since, they keep taking amounts out of our bank that are beyond what we have ever paid before. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THEM TO SPEAK TO YOU TO SORT IT OUT!!! RIPPED OFF IS HOW WE FEEL.
Mojo still tries to take money from us months after we cancelled ...had to get banks to block them from taking money from our account.....STILL RIPPING US OFF!!! Good on ya Mojo.

Definitely saving more $$$ with Mojo
Switched from Origin. High usage household ($1500 per quarter with Origin), now averaging $350 per month
The initial install of the smart meter took about a month. Never experienced any drop outs or incorrect billing.
Love the usage/spend graphs and the real time functionality in their app

Mojo!
Swapped for cheaper rates. So far, good experience. Gear installed in about 6 weeks, handy being able to view your usage. Power has been reliable, no dropouts. Would recommend.

No Fuss, Full Service & Cheaper Energy provider!
We have been extremely happy (I know rare to say about an energy company, don't worry I use to think like this!) with Mojo power since the first time we made contact with them with a question.
I firstly heard about Mojo on ACA & thought "what have we got to loose". I loved that there was no lock in contact but didn't know if the cheaper price would really ring true. For us it has been a major saving. I love that when ever I have a question it is answered in a timely manner, with always a friendly reply. I never have to wait on hold as I just ...

Easy to Transfer and Great Value
Have been delighted with the change over to Mojo. Firstly, they are competitively priced with significant savings. Secondly, the changeover process was quick and painless. And lastly, the ongoing service is also more personal, having received a personal call on one occasion and another unprompted email contact, which was info for my benefit. I highly recommend all to make this easy change, to achieve savings and a better service..

The savings are worth it!
We switched to Mojo Power a few months ago and, after doing a full analysis with my last provider, we saved almost $200 over the quarter, even after taking into account the discount given by the previous supplier. Very happy.
Saving heaps and no bill shock
Seamless transfer from our previous provider and being able to see how much electricity I'm using at any time is amazing. Can actually see how much certain appliances cost to run. We are saving hundreds
