We had some hiccups during pre construction due to the design requirements but once the construction started it was smooth sailing. Geoff our construction supervisor was on top of everything. He’s constantly in touch with us providing updates on the progress. I can say it’s a stress-and hassle-free build. It was even completed earlier than the expected timeline. I would highly recommend building with Montgomery Homes if you are looking for a quality build.

Max, the building manager kept us informed of progress at every main stage, was also prompt with responses and would send progress photos, especially when I was away for work.
No real issues with the build quality. All minor concerns and queries addressed straight away.
Final cost was slightly higher due to council increasing bushfire rating and us wanting more upgrades.

From the beginning to the end dealing with Montgomery homes was a great experience. Geoff our supervisor made sure the home building was constant and was in touch with us all the time. I would highly recommend building with Montgomery Homes if you want a well finished home to live in

Firstly we would like to say Max Phillips was just great as our supervisor. Very approachable.
The finish on the home was really good with a few minor things that will have to be done when houspect is completed in a few weeks time.
The site costs of our home blew out quite a bit due to having to add screw piers to a sand base soil.
Other things adding to the base price was an infiltration pit & rain garden that we had never heard of until
this build.
Overall this experience has been pretty good but after the build a lot of landscaping has to be done that also adds considerable cost.

From the moment we decided a Montgomery home was for us Andrew guided us through every step with professionalism and enthusiasm oh and a lot of patience... Once our build started Kyle our construction guru has kept in contact every fortnight to let us know how and what is being done!! To date we have had no hiccups and we are ecstatic with the speed and quality of workmanship we have seen, we cannot wait to see our finished project way ahead of schedule!! We recently received our keys to our forever home and couldnt be more grateful for all that Montgomery Homes have done for us. From the get go all the way through the build the standard of communication was high and the level of build quality was fantastic! Our beautiful house was built well within the due date. Our construction supervisor Andrew’s attention to detail was excellent. The company quotes for all possibilities which means costs came in less than expected which was a bonus. The communication from the company made the journey easier. There are lots of options from a basic package to something a bit fancier.

From sale through to handover, Montgomery have been efficient, friendly, helpful in all aspects of the difficult process of the building. A significant mistake was made by the tiling company and our property supervisor seamlessly rectified the mistake. I have not yet completed the handover inspection but know that should an item need attention, the supervisor will endeavour to correct any mistakes. I was pleasantly surprised when I received two refunds for items that while quoted, were not required. I found this honesty refreshing.

The project was well managed. Communication was excellent - at all stages of the build.
The quality of the workmanship is where these homes have a distinct advantage.
There was help in finding a demolishing firm to knock-down the existing house.
There final cost was as per the estimate - even though it was considerably higher than the price stated on the brochure - due to the many extras we added.
This was not a cheap exercise - but we wanted a quality product - lot's of bells and whistles - and something to be proud to own. I think we achieved this in droves.

The management of our build was seamless and it was stress free as our site supervisor was so efficient, upfront and honest. The quality product we received in our home is pleasurable to view and adds to our complete satisfaction of the overall experience. The cost of the build was expected as stated by Montgomery Homes and no hidden costs appeared. We always said that this would be our last build but after our experience with Montgomery Homes we would certainly do it all over again.

Build overall went smoothly and I was satisfied overall with build quality and cost.

Unfortunately a positive experience was undone at the very end of the journey as a warranty claim to cover defective carpet was rejected by the builder. I experienced a pull in the carpet join that occurred whilst vacuuming. The second pull occurred through regular foot traffic at the join in a doorway. The builder classifies the fault as wear and tear and has ignored further correspondences. The matter is now sitting with the department of fair trading.

From the outset Montgomery never disappointed they listened to what we wanted to achieve in our home. Very easy dealing with both the saleswoman and supervisor with our home finished well ahead of schedule to a high standard and on budget. Without hesitation we would recommend Montgomery homes.

The build was managed professionally, Cost of tender was exactly what we paid and generally happy with quality of the build. Montgomery followed up on the areas needing attention and response to look into it has been good

As first time builders we we unsure of what to expect. Montgomery made the process very easy, and were up front and honest regarding every aspect of our build.
We have heard stories of discontent from people, who chose to build with other companies. That discontent may have been avoided if the same transparency and communication Montgomery showed us had been offered to them.
We felt informed and involved every step of the way.
