They do not honor warranty
When I brought my car, they only offered 3 Year warranty. At the time Holden had an extended warranty offer. So I went back and asked them t hem to provide this to me. After extensive dialogue they agreed. Time goes by and now its after 3 years. I go for my service to be informed its chargeable, as my warranty period has expired, their documents show only 3 years. Lesson is check and check again and do not deal with unscrupulous and dare I say dishonest car dealers like Muirs.

Very unhappySydney
Very disappointed
Bought a new car 2013 (Demonstrator model but classed as a new car.) Service has never cost the "set price ". Always something else going wrong with the car. Service desk is very rude when you query the costing. Will never buy from here again. So far I have had to replace break pads and discs, had a coolant leak and now I have no car because the transmission blew up, Was told it would take 1 1/2 weeks to fix, it has already been 2 weeks and the part is still not in so I am not happy as it could take weeks to get the car fixed and I am still wi...Read more
thout a car. So much for buying a new car. Never, never again. June 9th 2017 Update: Never again $750 quoted to replace the brakes. Rear only. Took it to another mechanic, not Holden, and it cost me $95. Holden said I had to replace the whole thing but the other mechanic said that was rubbish and only replaced the pads. My car is still under warranty as it is only 4 years old but I will never take it back to Holden. Totally overcharge for repairs.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Good Old Fashion Customer Service
I've only had my SV6 since December but had to take it in to Muirs for them to check a noise.
I am about to go away on a trip and noticed a rattle, when I called to make a booking with short notice it was no problem at all.
They found the fault quickly and although it was my own fault ( a small touch up paint tin I put in the spare wheel compartment).
I offered to pay for wasting their time, but they said it was no problem.

Wonderful service - highly recommend.
Two days before I was due to leave on a long interstate trip, it dawned on me I should have my car assessed before driving 400 km. I contacted my preferred dealership Muirs Holden and they squeezed me in last minute. The service staff were friendly and super helpful. I was so grateful for the prestige assistance. Thank you for making my journey safe. Could not recommend Muirs highly enough. A1 dealer!

Fantastic job +++++
Team at Muirs service department are fantastic...Every time I go there I know my car has been looked after.. I took my car in because their was a knock in my front wheel each time I went over driveway or something similar. I got different quotes and price from Muirs was 100% reasonable and cheaper...Team at Muirs service went out of their way and explained to me what the problem was and how much I might pay to get it fixed.. Not only they fixed my car problem, they also notified me of other issues which I might need to address in the future (...Read more

Very good.
This is a family owned business and once you walk through the door it's very easy to recognise so.
I just purchased a new vehicle from them and over all I found them to be very professional, fair & easy to deal with.
I would not hesitate in recommending them to any person who is contemplating on buying a new or used vehicle.

Rip Off Service - Avoid These Guys!
A week ago, we took the car in for a service as it was overheating. They told us we needed the thermostat replaced which was going to cost $800. We got it done and a few days later we noticed the car was still overheating. We took it back to get it fixed, and they told us it would be an extra $400 to fix and replace the water pump. They didn't do their job properly the first time round, and they charged us again to fix up their mistake. Poor service, took advantage of us and we would never use them again.

Worst customer service ever - dont go here!!
This company said they would collect my car and then when I chased them up to find out timing they said "oh we cant collect your car". Twice I got told that someone would call me back and I had no call from anyone.
I will never take my car in here ever again - avoid, avoid, avoid.

Never fails to disappoint
Bought a Captiva 7 in 2012. Typical car salesman type of service - incredibly interested and attentive and promising the world until we signed on the line and handed over the money - after that they just weren't interested. Took possession of the car a few days after they said we would.
Every 'capped price' service that we've been for has cost much much more, as they find a whole lot of extras that aren't covered but are needed if we want to take care of the car. Now an oil leak. Everything takes longer than they first tell you.
