Good brand and reliable
Because it was approaching winter time, and my wife asked for Noirot heater with timer. I did my research online in early June, and i was waiting for the EOFY sales. The Good Guys got a good deal when i purchased it. The heater is very energy efficient, plus it is very reliable!

I like this heater
I like this heater. It is very good quality. It will not overheat and burn kids skin. It is very quite. It can heat up room quickly. For one room it does not cost too much to heat up during winter. I have two of them. They both work well in several years

Worst purchase ever!!
We bought this heater about 3 years ago and I regret it every time I turn it on. Because I can't just simply "turn it on" like any normal heater.
Its default setting, that it returns to every time it has been disconnected from the power for even just a minute, doesn't allow you to simply turn it on. I have to go through its control panel and set it to manual so I can turn it on. Even that is a task in itself as the control panel is so poorly designed and the print so small that I cannot read it without shining the torch on it and bendin...Read more
g over so my face is 2 inches away from the control panel. I wear glasses for night driving, but not for anything else. I certainly don't need them to operate any other device in my home. The panel is incredibly poorly designed, from both from the perspective of practical usability - being able to physically see and negotiate the menu system - and also from the perspective of software user friendliness. The panel is not at all "intuitive" to use. If I accidentally hit "program mode" while trying to set it to "manual" so that I can turn it on, I have to unplug the heater and wait for it to reset before trying to turn it on again as I haven't been able to work out how to escape from "program mode" once I accidentally stumble in. Again, this is not a problem I have with any other device in my home - I have no problem setting up the central heating, just everything about the design of this product in regard to usability is awful. I worked as a computer programmer for around 10 years and can't fathom how anyone could design such a poor user interface. It is awful in every way possible. The next gripe is the expense of using this heater. I've never been energy conscious, but I am now after this heater leading to us having electricity bills totalling over $4,000. UNBELIEVABLE!!! We bought this heater because we were undecided about whether to replace our broken central heating with another central heating system or a hydronic heating system - it would have been cheaper for us to have simply had a new central heating system installed and then ponder the question of whether to get hydronic heating later.Similar opinion? Has Pro's and Con,s
we have 4 Noirot heaters of different sizes, great little units that are silent and kick out plenty of heat. only down side is if you decide to remove the feet/wheels you cannot put them back on. this is realy the only down side as like i said they are great for bedrooms etc where no noise is required,

Hi There, You sure can put the wheels/casters back on. All you need is to put the black clip back in. If it broke during removal you can purchase replacement clips from us at https://www.noirot.com.au/castors/castor-clips

Good heather - but fiddly controls
Heater puts out good heat however the thermostat is a bit touchy - which makes it hard to find the right temperature. The electronic timer control is fiddly and a bit difficult to use - however i have no need for this. Good build quality - would recommend this heater.

I don't like this product at all. It is not safe. There are large gaps in the top. My cat (when he was a kitten) climbed on top of the heater and then his tail went through one of the gaps and was quite badly burnt (He ended up spending the night at the emergency vet hospital on pain killers and a drip) This could easily have been a child putting their fingers through the gaps. I got rid of it afterwards. Bad design, bad product. Don't purchase (the base model) if you have children or pets or anyone silly enough to stick their fingers or whatever through the vents in the top. Heaters this size, and with this ability to produce radiant heat, should be completely sealed up.

Hi Jamey,
Sorry to hear about your cat, however, this does not sound like one of our heaters. Our vents are positioned on the front of our panel and are quite close together. They are also not for sale at Bing Lee stores. ... Read more

Very efficient, low cost
Bought this to help warm up my bedroom and it works perfect. It's very efficient, using minimal power to heat the room. It's portable so I can take it with me or put it in different rooms that I'm in. Extremely happy with this and will probably buy another very soon.

Quality heater
Quality heater, big bonus is the lifetime warranty. The casters are very flimsy however. Expect them to break...
The heater can be very hot to touch, so is probably not ideal for very little kids to be around. Also there is no tilt safety switch so if it falls over it won't auto cut-off.
That aside, I do like the heat output - it is very good, it is simple to use, a standard dial on off and another one for themostat. This model has no timer but I bought a external timer.

Best heater ever
We have tried many different kinds of heaters over the years. Fan heaters and radiant heaters. This heater far out-wins them all. It generates a good amount of heat and fairly quickly from the time you turn it on. Being a panel heater it is quiet. It comes with a lifetime warranty. It is not cheap but it is well worth the money. We bought another cheaper heater for another room and it doesn't give out the same amount of heat and as fast. Would happily recommend the Noirot heater.

Great
It's a great heater, good use in winter in a big area, it's fast warm, and safety for pets and children. I purchased another one this year, because it's good, but the only thing is the price, because it's price looks like double.price then other products.. recommend to friends.Happy use

perfect!!!
To cope with the Melbourne winter I bought it this year
Super quiet as you can't tell wether it is on or not unless you take a closer look or feel the temperature
Quick to warm up the master bedroom as well
I got the Dyson heat+cool as well but i prefer this one
perfect for me

It's good and keeps warmer
It's mainly used in my son's bedroom, it warms up quickly. But you still feel hot if touching it while it's on. Also it's always warming while turning on at winter nights, though I have already set to a lower temperature, maybe because it's too cold outside in winter and it's when placed closed to window.

Pricey -- good enough
Quality & performance is actually good, reflected on the high price and costly electricity bills. It warms up our living room (10m2) and make winter more bearable without excessive wool clothing. Besides the high price and high electricity consumption, its wheels are not that sturdy, the connector between the wheel and the stand are wiggling, all 4. I consider it a design defect.

Good one
I can say it was good but not perfect. Because maybe the temperature is slowing when I opening. But maybe ten minutes later I think it will be good. Especially on the night time. It can keep warm and I can have a good dream in winter. And the price is not too expensive.

this is good. we put it in our shower room for my baby.
In winter,it is cold when we take A shower, especially for baby. So we bought this product, and it is not dispointed us. we opened it 20mins before we shower because it takes some time to warm the whole bathroom, which is the only disadvantage. In one word, we are satisfied with it.

Excellent heater
Very easy to use heater with thermostat. Wall mountable and it even comes with a lifetime warranty. Comes with rollers so it can easily move around. Timer function is quite handy to set multiple schedules.

Good Heater
This heater is good enough when consider it's price. I use it in my bed room which is nearly 9 square meters. It will take 5-10mins to warm the entire room depending on the temperature outside. However, I am a little bit worried about its electricity consumption and hope it won't increase my bill too much.

Not silent
We were looking for a quiet heater that wouldn't creak as much as our old panel heater as it expanded/cooled. Unfortunately despite it being a premium product it still produces loud sudden creaks during the night which is quite annoying. On the plus side, the noise of the relay turning on and off is almost indiscernible (i.e. no click sounds).

Best heater ever
Bought this unit last winter. It is the best heater I have ever used. It is quiet to perform, fast to heat, sort of economical to use. No doubt it is the most expensive heater in the market, but it is definitely worth every cent. I am pretty happy with it.
