Wonderful customer service
I was impressed by the customer service of Cristiane at the Albany WA store. He was very helpful and even carried my heavy item to my car. Thanks so much

Blurry photos
Went to Officeworks to get some more photos printed off, self serve way. After about 40 minutes of trying this and that, with staff help, finally got my photos printed. The quality was terrible, very blurry. What a waste of time.

Postage rip off
Went to order 2 micro SIM cards, the postage was going to be over $25 for them (you all know how big micro SIM cards are..) I submitted feedback and got a reply that was basically "if you don't want to pay the delivery cost chose click and collect instead" .. paying a delivery cost was not an issue, but a FAIR cost, not some ridiculous over inflated amount. I live a few hours from the store so was quite prepared to pay fair delivery costs. I bought the items elsewhere and had them sent express post from a different state and it cost me a third of what office works wanted.

30 day business banking account application rejected so went straight to Harvey moron where I spent $1400.0
I went into a local office works store to speak with a business account representative in regards setting up a 30 day business account. A couple of days later I went online to my account to upgrade to this service. Two days later I get a do-not-reply email from Office (with no name attached to it and no contact numbers) stating that my application had been rejected, with no reason why but giving me some (less than helpful information about zip and afterpay options). I have just been offered an ongoing contract with a large regional TAFE and nee...Read more
d a brand new laptop and associated software. So I went to Harvey Norman and spent $1400.00 with them. They also set me up with a business account that was activated (approved) within three hours. My business ( I work on an ABN) earnt over $90k last year but apparently this is not good enough for Office works. Avoid this retailer. There are better businesses out there and other retailers that treat small business owners a whole lot better!

We're still customers if we are calling on the phone.
Have been calling Office Works Windsor for 2 days and no-one answers. Has really put me off the store. Office Works are big enough to have dedicated phoned person. It's all customer service.

No service.
I went into the Brisbane Adelaide St Officeworks. It seems to be set up as a serve yourself situation, but the item I wanted was nowhere to be seen. There is no-one to assist you, you just have to try and grab any staff member you see passing by, and they dont seem to be very keen to help. When I asked for the item I wanted, the staff person looked at me as though I was mad, although its a well known product. He had to check the website then go out the back room to get one. His attitude was very cold and reluctant. I felt I shouldnt have been there and my custom wasnt wanted.
I would prefer to buy online and not have to face this attitude.

150kg rating is unconvincing
I compared online step stools from Kmart, Big W, Ikea, Bunnings etc and settled on this one from officeworks due to it being rated to 150kg while still very slimline. It works in that it fits in the small space in the bottom of the pantry that I wanted it for, and it is tall enough (just) to let me see the top shelf. However I have used 80kg rated stools that felt more secure than this one. I'm over 100kg but nowhere near 150, and I don't feel safe at all standing on the bottom step, it flexes and makes noise. Have only had it a few days but am already contemplating upgrading.

Fake Price Guarantee
"Lowest price guarantee"? What a joke...
They claim that they can price match and beat their competitors by 5%, but apparently they never price match Costco("because they are membership only shops") or Kogan(just because some of the Kogan's products are imported from overseas). Then why Officeworks never specify these exclusions when posting their ads online?

Officeworks - I Won't Shop There Again!
Fix My Laptop, Albion and Harvey Norman just won a new customer.
Officeworks - poor quality products, useless repair process and no support for Australian jobs, but they’re happy to sell their products here.
I bought a new HP laptop only a few months ago, (see my review on HP, along with ALL the other bad HP reviews. Won’t buy their products again either), which almost exclusively lives on my study desk. It has only been taken out on one occasion. It has never been damaged, which can be seen by its condition. After this short time however, an...Read more
internal hinge which lifts the screen broke, leaving a loose piece of hinge floating around inside in the machine. Apparently a common problem which Officeworks failed to mention. I approached Officeworks, the seller, to have the machine repaired. They said their only option was to send it to HP for repair, which would take 2 weeks and the machine would be returned in its original state, i.e. the disk would be wiped. I have heard from others however, that this repair process actually takes around 6 weeks, rather than the 2 weeks claimed by Officeworks. If you need proof of this, see Hewlett Packard reviews on this site. Officeworks refused to exchange or refund for the product despite me having the purchase receipt. Conveniently for them, when explaining the warranty during purchase of the item, Officeworks failed to mention that any repairs take 6 weeks and the laptop comes back with its hard drive wiped, so that you must go through the lengthy process of downloading everything and setting up your computer yet again. I wonder why they wouldn’t mention that!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
So sad officeworks has a monopoly on printing in Perth.
Always leave unsatisfied with the service and consistency between staff. Lack of staff training. Please improve your customer relations to appear like you actually care. We are there wanting a service.

Officeworks do not answer phone
Hi - bought a keyboard but had a question about keyboard type - tried youtube but was still uncertain so I rang four Officeworks stores today - two in the city, Dee Why and Chatswood and there was no phone pick up by any store - for such a large store presence, disappointing service.

Terrible customer service at Hornsby Office Works
Requested a price beat for a pair of Airpods Gen 2. Previously advertised on theschoollocker for $188.
Such a simple request - took the counter person over 20 minutes to go back and forward with their boss to approve it - and ultimately didn't get approved because apparently 2 different products can have the "same SKU code" - total nonsense. Ended up going to another Office Works in Castle Hill and they sorted it out in less than 2 minutes. Terrible service. Stay away.

Worst Service Ever
I ordered a big order on Wednesday and selected Premium Next Day Delivery and it said it would be delivered by the Thursday.
The next morning when I checked the tracking on the website, it Clearly stated that it was on board for delivery and would be delivered on Thursday 20th February between 8am-5pm.
Because the order was very large and I had to stay home all day for 9 Hours waiting for this delivery to arrive. 9 HOURS I waited at home for a delivery that not only did I select the Guaranteed overnight delivery on, but that also the track ...Read more
and trace on the website told me that it was on its way and would delivered Thursday 20th. After 9 hours of waiting and not being able to do anything whatsoever because I didn't want to miss the delivery, the order never came! I rang customer service and the operator was RUDE, unhelpful and offered no reason as to why my guaranteed overnight order didn't arrive but promised it would arrive Friday the 21st. He said it will "Definitely" be delivered on friday now and wasn't sure why it didn't come yesterday. So I get up the friday morning and check the tracking and now it says it's coming on monday!!! Monday??!! How does "Premium next day delivery" move from thursday to monday? That's not next day delivery, that's 5 days later!! How can they claim to have next day premium delivery, then it doesn't arrive the day it's supposed to, then after promising on the phone that it will come the next day, moving it to monday! 5 days later. How can premium overnight delivery take 5 days. I'm baffled. Guaranteed in 2 different ways to come then next day, then promised over the phone that it will come the day after, then changes to 5 days!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great range of products and good prices
I tend to get all of my technology and office stationary from Officeworks. I do quite a bit of on-line research of the product that I'm about to purchase and then source them at Officeworks as they tend to have a very good range of products at great prices that I'm interested in. Have been using Officeworks for 10+ years and have had no major issues.

If I could rate it lower than 1 star I would.
Ordered a 5L container of Windex and a microfibre cloth over 2 weeks ago. I tried to cancel the order the day after I ordered via the online shop but was told I cannot cancel it until I have received it as I need to ask for a refund. Then I call the shop and they said it was arriving last week but when we go a few days later it's not arrived. Another week goes by and still no update so I call both the shop and online store multiple times until someone finally answers. They inform me my order has not arrived and I cannot get a refund until it a...Read more

Attempts to talk to a manager are refused initially however after 15 mins of pushing for a manager, he finally takes the call and says the Windex has arrived but not the cloth however if I want a refund I have to come go into the shop in person. That will be 2 trips to the store and 3 calls to get a my online order of $18.11 refunded. Next time I will just go straight to Bunnings.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Terrible Service
I wanted a media frame created for my wedding in May, I had purchased a file off Etsy and just wanted Officeworks to print it. I went there and they rejected me and told me I had to do it online- it seems like they only really deal with printing on paper there?
Anyway, I purchased online, paid and selected the ‘click and collect’ option.
When it came time to collect, I went in, there were two lines marked out, one for printing and one for collection. I went to the ‘collection’ line.
For 15 minutes I stood there- completely ignored.
The staf...Read more

My click and collect never arrives at my designated store. Looking at Officeworks tracking I see that the item has been “picked” at the wharehouse but delivery gets pushed back daily. This has been going on for over one month. What is going on? Impossible to phone Officeworks, they have turned off their phones and emails don’t get answered. Come on! Other companies are doing better than this despite Covid 19.

Yeah I experienced what you are experiencing at the moment, you can't phone the specific shop where you ordered your items. I emailed Officeworks but of no avail. All you can do is call 1300 OFFICE (633 423). That is their customer service hotline, it would take forever before someone attends to you but just wait. It took me roughly 30 minutes before a customer service representative assisted me with my inquiry. Good luck mate! Hope you get your items sorted.

iness name? She then told me that the do not reply email was from a third party (funny about that, considering it clearly states that it came from Office works) when I asked who the third party was, she declined to give me any information (which make me suspicious that she was not being entirely honest me me) she then wanted me to direct her, to my companies website ( I work under an ABN and not for a Proprietary Limited Company, so don't have a company website) and made this quite clear to her, at the beginning of the conversation (she faltered and then I realised, that she didn't understand the difference between an ABN and PLC status) She became more and more upset, stating that I was somehow "harassing" here. When I pointed out, if I had staff and they were as non-transparent as her, I would cancel their contracts. She ended the conversation by hanging up on me. I don't know how you recruit, or where you source your staff from Officeworks, but I can assure you, that you need to go back and do some serious re-training in this area! The damage has been done Office Works. You just can't wave some kind of magic wand and go back in time to fix this. Your business policies and practices are woeful and you are losing customers and potential business, because of practices.
