Online Travel Insurance was recommended to me by friends that I trust. Their offer was very clear and precise, so it was easy to imagine a situation that the insurance would be needed. Fortunately, we did not any assistance, but it helped us the have peace of mind during our, extended holiday.

I take out an annual travel policy each year and this year decided to try Online Travel Insurance. Policy is due to expire the day before I return to Australia so I asked them to extend it by one day for which I was willing to pay. The customer service guy was not willing to help me in any way because his computer would ‘not allow this’. I asked to speak to his supervisor to which he replied the supervisor would contact me within 24 hours. This hasn’t happened nor has a reply to my email sent over a week ago.
Last time I will be using this company due to there complete lack of customer service!!

My partner and I purchased this policy for our annual travels .
His flight got cancelled and he lodged a claim. Three months on after numerous attempts and many phone calls and emails on his behalf he is still waiting for his claim to be finalized. Yes it’s cheaper than other insurers but definitely not worth the hassle . I would never use them again nor recommend to anyone .

Once and will never look back again using them :(
I would rather pay either out of my pocket OR try other alternatives.

This is my first time. I bought a 12 months, multi trip, to Asia, Europe.
It is easy to select and pay online. However there wasn't any confirmation that payment gone through successfully.
I end up paying twice. Received two policy on my emails. I call customer services, real people on the other side, and didn't wait long. One of the policy is cancelled. Very quickly done. I do need to wait for 7 business day for the refund to come through.
Now get ready for my trip, and hopefully i do not need to make any claims.
