Optus Business Centers Dont Get Back to Their Customers
I have been having terrible trouble with Optus Business Centre in Parrmatta, so i asked to be transferred to Norwest.... here i'm having exactly the same issues, staff taking forever to respond back to emails and calls. The staff are lovely and knowlegable but these so called Business Centres must be so understaffed that they simply are not available to take calls or respond to emails. I have just been advised by the Norwest branch that it takes 2-3 business days for them to typically respond to customer queries. I was advised that this is how all business countrywide respond to their customers! REALLY? This slow repsonse means it is taking me forever and day to put in place what i need to for our new phone system and NBN Connection.

Deceptive and misleading
This store is deceptive and misleading and using sales techniques that are unscrupulous. They do not tell the whole story on your contract or what fees and charges are payable, they just want the money and lied and mislead me to get the deal. Then after discovering there deception, guess what? They could care less hahaha.
Will not hounor product warranties, sure, at first you will be treated great, but just wait until you go back with a problem, then you are nothing but dirt.
The things they did to me to get a sale are akin to common theft.
Complaints fell on deaf ears as all they wish is to exploit vulnerable people, the sale is king!

What a disappointment
After years of enduring the systemically woeful service of Telstra, we made the move to Optus. While Optus is more competitive on pricing, their service is just as deplorable as Telstra. They are a massive disappointment, seriously how can these Telco's get away with their complete lack or service? Optus are hard to get hold of, takes so long on hold and then you sadly speak to people to struggle to understand, then they get it wrong. They deserve NO STARS.

Carlingford Optus - Poor customers' Services and lack knowledge to help
With the migration from ADSL to NBN, I managed to strike a good deal with the Optus on-line Service and went to Carlingford Store to activate the Deal. Staff were dis-interested to explain the step by step migration process nor able to honour the on-line Deals I had... in fact, the staff denied there was any Deal made until I shown them the email communication on my ph. Eventually they came clean and said they are franchisee and not able to honour the Deal. Should have told me at an earlier stage of the contact.

Optus Loop don,t go there
No business ph for 6 days, no answers no call back just the standard answer "your problem has been escalated. only positive is the call centre was Australian. Optus loop has always been a faceless operation

OPTUS is a nightmare for your business
I have had a business telephone line and email address with Optus for almost 20 years. About a month ago they decided to cut my ADSL internet and phone line off with no warning. After a minimum of 24 hours on the telephone to Optus over several days firstly I was told my ADSL would be back up an running in a few days (this was the first lie) anyway when nothing happened I had to contact Optus again (believe it or not I never swore, shouted or got angry as there is just no point). I was cut off as I had to switch to NBN, this was another outright lie, I have a letter from NBN noting that I have to switch by March 2020 ! My only option was to move to NBN with Optus and they would fast track the installation, finally several weeks later an NBN technician turned up at 4:30pm, he was great and very knowledgeable but the installation took almost 3 hours. Once the NBN was up and running I then found out Optus had changed my business email address and telephone number so I had to spend another few days constantly calling Optus to have my original business number and email address reinstated. Unfortunately due to my email address being so well known I have to keep it while I transition to another email address. This is a warning not to use optus for your business. We are still feeling the repercussions of not having our email address or telephone line working (it was down for about a month). The amount of times I have had to call Optus with this issue and subsequent billing errors is mind boggling, - the customer service staff generally have no idea what they are doing and I have been constantly lied to by them. I wrote a formal complaint to Optus over 2 months ago and I have never heard back from them as they could not care less. I cannot wait to get away from Optus as I am sick of speaking to them to fix their errors ! Customer service was poor
Went into mall to ask few basic questions and the guy servicing was so vague and never answered questions properly and seemed irritated by simple questions regarding new phone that has just come out

Helpful friendly service
I recently purchased a small modem for my daughter from the Bruce ACT store. They were extremely busy but the young man took his time to ensure it was all set up and ready to go as soon as I gave it to her. Great service.

Service everywhere
I was with Virgin Australia they are leaving Australia they put me onto Optus
Great service a lot better than Virgin mobile, my apps download very easy.
Invoice easy to read on my email account. Direct debit no problems.

Beyond disgusted!!! Avoid Optus at all costs!
Do not go through Optus!!! RE: Contacted Optus, transferred to call centre (in India). Call centre organised NBN installation for July. Optus sends modem pack #1 out to old address (even though address changed in system twice before. Call Optus, inform them, Optus then cancel the order and send out modem pack #2. Call Optus (India call centre), escalate matter, Optus India says all appointments booked wrong, no NBN technician booked till Aug 20?? Escalated matter again, Optus India said they will email the escalation team and I'll hear from them in a week!! 1 month after my NBN installation was booked still no NBN! Do not go with Optus NBN or business or mobile service under any circumstances, Poor customer service, poor overseas & Australian call centre. The loss of work has already costed me $1200 just for waiting for technicians that don't show up! Do not go through Optus!!! Help on my Samsung phone
I went into Optus and explained how my phone kept dropping out in calls, full battery charge lasted an hour and internet kept dropping out. They said because i leased it and had 8 months to go to bad.

Fantastic Product
Optus network is the most reliable I have used since moving to Port Stephens. I recently purchased the 10xMax and couldn't be happier. Staff and service fantastic from Salamander Store.

Optus service and reliability
I have never had a problem with optus, their service is great, I have never had any drop outside and I have been an optus customer for many years. I also find the internet billing service to be simple easy to access and pay my bills online.

THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE USED IN 10 YEARS
Network coverage is non existant, conections drop out all the time, clients who call can't hear (volume drops through the service).
Just dont do it - I finally got out of my contract (by consistently complaining for a year).

Can Optus Management Answer?
A simple request of call diversion took me 4 hours on my mobile phone. countless transfer, same questions asked. does anybody in Optus management team think this is acceptable? if not, do something. My comment - the worst experience I have with telecommunication service provider.

Amazing service
We have been with Optus for over 5 years now and they are fantastic. They also offer helpful alternatives when a problem has arised, however this is seldom. They have great coverage and our internet service has been super fast with no issues. We also love we can talk to them 24/7 via Optus chat app service.

poorly trained people work in optus store
I am disappointed that some people dont know their job and still working in optus store, made a lot of mistakes during the type on computer, dont know to explain, call for help someone every minute to ask how to do this... they really need much better knowledge and training before they start to work, because we paid for that. Nothing wrong with Optus just take more care about people in optus stores because if they dont know to tell us, we feel helpless.

With Optus, whenever I have problem with broadband or mobile, I will chat with Optus customer service.
At the end, they always deliver 100./. satisfaction. They are a big company, they run professionally.
