Business internet bundle
Signed to upgrade from business ADSL to NBN bundled with two prepaid mobile phones. With incorrect shop number of the address, I have contacted Optus numerous times to have it fixed to no avail. They put me from department to department and no one seem to know what they are doing. I am still using the ADSL after three months. Hopeless.

Optus Customer Service
You can't even call it customer service. 1 hour on the phone to somewhere in Asia to fix my billing issue and I'm still waiting. Is this a bad joke? For how long must we put up with terrible customer service! Every time I contact Optus the result is the same. You cant even walk into an Optus store to get the issue resolved - you get told to ring the standard number and then waste hours of your life. unbelievable.
I only gave 1 star because it's not possible to give them a zero.

They have the best plans
Last night I upgraded my plan to the $99 Bundle Plan which includes: Unlimited Data, AC WiFi Modem, Phone line at no extra charge. It also includes standard, local and national calls and calls to Australian Mobile. The entertainment included is: Optus Sport and Fetch. I will be ready for NBN so when it comes out I will just need to get the Speed Pack 3, which includes: 40 Mbps Typical Busy Period, Standard Plus Evening Speed (NBN50) and Ideal for multiple HD video and music stream, concurrent users.

Optus so called technical support
My computer is not working properly it will not download some attachments. I rang 131344 Optus )so-called) technical team. Waited for some time finally got an answer told the asian speaking man my problem and he said I will ring you back in an hour???? If I could give a Zero score I would.
We are a large medical business within the Brisbane region. Our patients rely on us to deliver services in a timely manner, a service we pride ourselves on. However due to Optus ineptitude we find ourselves continually being restricted due to constant WAN and Internet outages.
We have been with Optus for the past 6 years. We currently have a managed network that Optus fails to manage. It is perpetually unreliable, causing staff to spend HOURS just trying to log a job, to then have to wait a further 3 hours for the mere investigation to begin...Read more

AWFUL PRODUCT AND COMPANY. No after sales service available. No training on how to use and customise the phones. Optus are fraudulent and dishonest with their sales spiel in promising what the phones can do and 100% fail to deliver in providing a product that can help your business. They will sign you up for a long term contract and leave you high and dry with after sales service and care.

good until you have a problem
Pone plans are good but if you have any problems you spend a lot of time on the phone. On occasions when i have had problems you never speak to an Australian and you have to wait for a long time when you do speak to someone it is a slow process. Usually it takes a lot of goes and you have to repeat everything until you get someone who knows how to fix it and it is then done it would be better if it was done straight away

Nothing short of pathetic
I contacted Optus twice and Telstra once to find out about wires crossing my property. No response at all from Optus. They just ignored my messages. At least Telstra responded. Do you think i would ever buy an Optus product with this kind of service? I dont think so. I would have given zero stars if it was an option.

Terrible service with incomptent technicians
I was convinced by Dodo to port my business telephone service to them They hoever failed to tell me they cannot accomodate 3 lines I then ported the line they took back to Optus and that was were the trouble started Optus took a month to port the line back The line was however not working properly so they cut my working lines and I have been without a proper landline service “while they try to identify the problem in their system” for almost 2 months now with my business loosing money Their latest solution is for me to move to another company as they cannot fix the problem

Better than Telstra but cuts out all the time
I have been with Optus for two or three years now and although the mobile phone service is competitively priced I have constant dropouts when I'm at home and I mean every day, every conversation over 10 minutes. My kids also had Optus phones when they lived here and same deal.
The other problem that I've had continuously is that they can't get it together to send me an invoice each month, I only get an overdue reminder via text. I've rung them at least six times about this, checked my spam folder, even changed my email address but they cannot ...Read more

OPTUS LOOP - out of the loop
We signed up to the heavily advertised Optus Loop business system for our inbound call centre. Not only is the system flawed but the after sales "service" has been absolutely non-existent. Optus' Eastern Suburbs Business Centre is, by far, the worst to deal with.

Optus Billing and Website are Horrible!!!
I have just paid my account late because instead of being sent (emailed) a copy of my bill I have to go to the Optus website and find it hidden among the numerous changes to the user interface all the time. Optus send reminders but no bill! The reminders only take you to a dumb web page where all you can do is pay by credit card. It costs me $180 a month for 2 phones and they turn off the services when I run over their dead line. If you use a Credit Card they want a Surcharge. Amaysim charge $10 a month for the same phone service. To tell them I've paid the bill I have to provide security details even though I am calling from the number on their service. Idiots.

Excruciating
I needed to perform a 'simple' task of changing ownership due to moving out of the office and someone else taking over the 4G mobile broadband

Sad times
Network coverage is very average in some places none existent
They don’t even follow their own customer service. When my phone broke they said in the contract that they give a replacement for a few days which is the same as your phone. Well that didn’t happen they didn’t have an iPhone for me and made me buy a cheap Nokia.
The contract bundles are also expensive and they never give you enough data

person said there was an amazing deal with my plan that included a Bluetooth speaker the phone and iPad all for $112 a month including 100 gigs of data. This was a lot more than I was willing to pay but I needed the iPad and thought as it’s included why not. When my bill came it was $220 for the month. They charged $45 extra a month for the iPad $50 for the a new phone line $20 for the speaker. I called to complain and say that this is not what I asked for. But because the stores are franchises Optus said there was very little they could do. This is unlawful and goes against consumer law! You can not lie to your customers!!! They are disgusting!!! No difference to standard plans
There is no difference between the business and the standard plans! The customer service is very poor and they ignore you when you walk in the store and no priority for business customers. There is pretty much no use for the plans at all!

daylight robbery
I cancelled my optus internet service 4 months ago and went with another service provider. Optus has been direct debiting my account for the last 4 months after cancellation despite a number of calls I made to them and asked for a refund for over charged amount. Every time I call them they keep me waiting for about an hour. My problem is not resolved yet and they just charged me for this month as well.

I have multiple services from Optus for my business. My NBN is not working so as business phone. As the customer service person told me Optus don’t have anymore direct line for businesses. I have called more than two hours ago and still I don’t get call back from Optus NBN Dept. My reference number is 20642554. Customer satisfaction is zero out of 100.

Very poor customer service
I wanted to relocate my internet service from 13/12/18 .their team said they will connect me on 19/12/18 but somehow couldn’t then said on 29, waited more than 2 hours to connect the service but nobody help me.
Really very bad customer service i have ever had.

Optus, your customer service is very terrible. You locked us in for 5 years contract, we were tricked by your dodgy sales person who set us up for both phones & internet for a whopper bill of $450/a month just for the phone service plus a huge bill for internet, extremely expensive but super slow EVOLVE internet.
