OVO is just greedy
Reduced my data plan by 15GB but didn’t change the price? Also changed their policy so I can’t recharge before the day which means I have to buy data. They are just looking for money - it’s a scam

24 hour downtime to connect
After reading the bleurb about minimal down time and an email telling me it would only take 4 hours- I was left stranded with no activation for 24 hours! I had to hound them to be connected and lied to about how long it would take.
I couldn’t catch and Uber and have had to spend hundreds of dollars on parking at the airport. Not happy

Value for money
Good price and good value for money I definitely recommend going for ovo mobile thanks. Just go for it I love it's just that it take some time to deliver the sim card but the value for money covers it all up.

15G cut 2 weeks notice
The last 50G for 35AUD was extermly good, and I was happy with that that is why I changed and it was easy to use or order from them, however this changes to cut 15G for the same amount of money and when you ask why the reason is the customers are happy for that as they never used the 50G it is just ridiculous.

Awesome value
Order SIM card online, keep current mobile phone number. Generous allowances for pre-paid. Always seem to be increasing the data allowance! Easy to recharge. No need to pay for service if not using it - recently went overseas and let my recharge expire. Recharged when I got home with nil issues.

decreased the data on my deal
Always been very happy with OVO service and products. I was thrilled when they offered to double data on the mobile plans and went with the 50GB for $34.95. This deal must have been too popular because they have just told me that next recharge would only give me 35GB, Surely they could keep the deal going for the current customers. For me a deal is a deal and I will now sign up with another IP that hopefully won't suddenly change the rules.

Stay away
Couldn't order sim card online, so I tried support but no help at all. I rang customer service and same poor service. I told operator its too hard and I will find another company, it didn't seem to bother him. I am staying away for sure.

Absolute pathetic business, steer clear of this backyard telecom company!..
No Professional support or clear indication of how to fix problems, different answers from all staff.
Cheap & Nasty.
They may claim to be 100% Australian but this is incorrect & receive tech support overseas who are not available 24/7 like any reputable telco.
They are worst than dealing with off shore support teams.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Superb service, great value, outstanding overall.
Service is superb both phone network and customer. Plans are best value out there with no contract. Always warned when your data is near depleted. Easy to use dashboard on web page or app. I've got nothing negative to say about Ovo and I have been a customer for several years now along with the rest of my family

OVO eventually sorted our problem, long time waiting!!
Here's how it went down all the way down with OVO!
We are advised and assured by OVO staff that their SIM card will work on our unlocked Vodafone pocket wifi.
Once you make the OVO SIM card purchase, they seem not sure anymore, whether it will work or not!
Calls back and forth for months until they approve a refund!
Confirmed by OVO email, that our refund had been processed on the 24 May.!
When you ask for a receipt number for the refund process?
They seem to stop returning the calls!
Eventually after 19 days they get back to us, claiming, that for some unknown reason the refund hadn't been processed by accounts!
We ask when do you think that will happen??

I change mobile providers often and sometimes it can be a very difficult process. OVO was super quick porting my number over, as in minutes not hours or days. Very good value plans for BYO.

Great self service and smooth activation process
I was a bit cautious signing up my wife to OVO based on online reviews, but it seemed to be too good value to pass up. i was pleasantly surprised with the user friendly website and activation process. number porting was complete within 15 mins and everything was up and running quickly. The self service app and website are simple to use and my wife hasnt complained about data speeds, especially because we use her data a lot to hotspot for my son's iPad streaming. So far very happy and highly recommended! Thanks.

OVO makes retrograde step in data packages.
Having recently loaded a glowing review about OVO, they have just changed their plans back to where they were some time back.... Reduced data for the same money; eliminated the 50Gb option; eliminated the recharge anytime option (so you now have to again top up at exorbitant rates). Bad move OVO. It will backfire, as people that I recommended you to are now looking to go back to more competitive suppliers. ear. OVO are now making a big deal about introducing 2 new data top-up deals including a 10 Gb top-up for $35.00. Wow. Wouldn't need it if they hadn't withdrawn the 30 day plan of 50Gb for $34.95, and the ability to recharge anytime. They even say - quote - "However, you will be able to top up your data if you run out, rather than having to recharge your service completely - potentially saving you money overall. Most of the customers that we've talked to told us this would be easier and more flexible." (not to mention much more expensive) I would like to meet these customers.Similar opinion? Recharge not available
Found cannot recharge my prepaid service before 9am nor speak to anyone before then too. Not good enough for early risers. Not stated in t & c's either. Very good service otherwise.

Worst experience I've had with any service provider
I was living overseas for a short time between this year and last year and when I returned my number worked for the first day and after that it stopped working and OVO told me they had disconnected it and had given no prior notice before doing this (obviously I would have spent the money recharging whilst I was away if I knew this would happen). confusing and their responses made it clear they hadn't read what the previous person had replied), as well as spending an extra $19.95 on a sim that wasn't able to be used after trying to port my "disconnected" number over and not being offered a refund as I bought it from a 7/11. They completely disconnected a number I had for 7 years with no attempt to retrieve it, even though it was in the quarantine period, saying that the original service provider only had access to it (which isn't true as I when into the Vodafone store and they were extremely helpful and did everything they could to retrieve it but it was out of their control). This has made me not be able to access messaging accounts like LINE and WhatApp where I contact family and friends overseas, as well as having to call up all of my accounts and switch the number. This was the worst experience and no one cared, stating that it was in their policy, all of the things they're clearly reading off a piece of paper and when asking certain questions about the policy they would always not be sure. Simply awesome
I have been an OVO customer for 2 years. Recently I ported my wife’s phone number to OVO.
When I received an email from OVO telling me that port is in progress, my old sim card signal dropped off some 4 hours later. I replaced it with the OVO sim card. Less than one hour the phone is working in full swing. Efficiency is beyond expectation,

Data disappeared in 2 days
I recharged my account 2 days ago and today I got a message which say we already used 50% from our 50gb data.
It is in possible.
We have 2 mobile number with 30gb/each data usage. We both work online, share our data to our son but still enoght in a month.
Honestly I'm so disappointed with your service. Exactly the same happened last time however we had 100gb plan that time. The fanny thing is we did not even use it as we both worked so it is very wired.

Ovo provides poor internet speeds 10-12 mbps download
Made payment $100 and provided me with 10mbps download then blamed optus customer for taking ovo data. No solution other than to say this service is not for you. This has been ongoing for 3 weeks poor download speeds 10-12 mbps. Location inner city north brisbane. Don not use ovo in this location

Why has my speed being slowed down to a ridiculously slow speed the last 3days....And it’s not congestion or Covid as I have my phone on OVO also and it’s speed is still the same.......
Can’t even play Xbox now....I pay $80 a month for 4G 250gb and up until 3 days ago was reasonably happy with it.....
Speed tests are approx 3mbps or less downloads and 12mbps or higher upload which is INSANE
My phone is still doing 30mbps+ or higher with the same upload as my data sim.
Please stop slowing my speed ASAP or I will go elsewhere.....it’s almost like I’ve been slowed down for the EASTER long weekend
