I'm warning everyone to stay clear of this website as it is an asylum for bullies. However, if you proceed to use this website, I warn you to tread the waters very carefully. This website is essentially a dictatorship with rules left, right and centre. The lists of registered members who have been placed in the 'penalty box' is huge. If you make a comment that goes against the majority, or you post light humour you will be placed in the 'penalty box'. Once a user is in the penalty box, it is very hard for that penalty to be revoked. Essentially, you are guilty from day one. Lastly, be careful in what you say and do on the site, because one wrong move will see you penetrated from every direction.

I always keep an eye on Ozbargain as there are many and varied good deals to be had.
A word of warning though- the regulars there are very critical of anything posted by anyone who is not a regular! If you post a Deal, or make a comment about a Deal then expect to be criticised by the Regs! Which is why I check the Deals but avoid posting!

First hand experience of other community members trolling on your post and giving negative comments which are clearly unprovoked. Once the issue is raised with the moderator whose name was Scotty replied back saying that your product won't work. Should shut this website down. People reading this *****PLEASE STAY AWAY******

Deny free speech. You are not allowed to speak differently from the majority. You are shut down and your comment is hidden.

I've posted a few deals, all have led me to being abused and bullied because of someone else opinion. I wouldn't recommend this website to anyone.

Once a website for the poor, now a website that manipulates its user base for the $$$.

Its number 1 deal poster works for Cash Rewards and is constantly providing 'deals' that rip everyday consumers.

The voting system on this website is broken and the relationship with Cash Rewards have severely comprised its position to show case true bargains.

Great site for bargains, it's a site I visit daily;
however it's a bad site for voicing your honest opinion as most people are biased or don't give you a chance to share you honest opinions.
I have been discouraged to the point of not sharing a deal, posting a comment or asking a question in fear that I will receive negative, insulting and/or biased responses (and downvotes) as this happens a lot to not only myself but to others (I see it way to often)

I check it everyday, always a good deal being posted.
I love how the community is always in the loop and even eBay codes are posted before they are active!
OzBargain is now my first point of call when making a significant purchase.

As pointed out by Francesco, its fake bargain's site. Several ozbargain users dominated the posts, and they might earn commissions from the sellers or could have been the same people behind the scene.

Those dominating users can insult you without any penalty or consequences but once you put negative or criticism remarks to those user, you immediately be put into penalty box, where you can't posts your opinion for 2 weeks or more. This site should be banned in Australia as its against the Australian values especially freedom of speech.

This site is practically fake bargain's site.They have a few genuine bargain's post to show off they are indipendent but all the others are just sponsored company.You cannot have a different opinion 'cause will be submerged by downvotes and insult.The moderators will not move a finger if your opinion is again the 'fake bargains' and someone offend you,practically everyone will offend you,it is the site way to have consents.
The tyrannical moderators and robot make you forgive the democracy sense.
Avoid it like the 'holy Inquisition'!
