I could not recommend highly enough, the work and expertise of my design and sales consultants- Taria and Warren Blignaut.

Warren custom designed a beautiful 3x2 home to suit my families needs,( also an oddly shaped block), and was extremely professional and patient, whilst we nutted out every little detail. He wanted me to be 110% happy with every aspect of my home, before we progressed to the next stage, and he didn’t stop designing, and re-designing until that happened.

Build quality is so far good, even though some defects were identified and were raised with the supervisor and was assured they will be rectified. The house is currently in lock up stage. The expected handover date is first week of Aug 2018. Considering The earth works started on 28th Feb 2018, I will call it a reasonably fast build time of 5 months and 1 week if the indicated handover time frame is adhered to, by Perceptions.

Our experience with Perceptions

My husband and I would give Perceptions an 8/10 (80%) and would recommend them to family and friends.
Our experience with Perceptions started a little different than most people. We were originally with Collier Homes but they were liquidated and then we were introduced with Perceptions and they agreed to take on our contract as is with Collier. Luckily all we did with Collier was the paper work so perceptions did our entire build from start to end.

Very well managed by site supervisor. Good communication all the way through.
Great up until we moved in but not very co-operative after we moved in, well yet anyway!
Hopefully they will also sort out our issues after the fact. Some things they have not been very negotiable on after there own pricing mistakes.

My Husband and I are currently building our dream home with Perceptions. While it is still under construction at present the workmanship so far has been good, our build has been well managed and seems to be moving along quite fast. We have been kept up to date with each stage, via email and phone calls, our project manager and client liaison officer have been great. Up to this point, we have been very happy with our choice of builder and would recommend them in the future.

Our house is still not completed; however, work seems to be running on time and looks to be of a good standard (so far we have the bottom floor and brickworks complete and top slab has been poured). We are given regular updates without having to contact Perceptions ourselves. We didnt keep an already made design but instead changed the house to suit our needs. Our consultant was extremely helpful.

Me and my wife decided to build our new house with Perceptions as friends advise .
Its been 2 months and half of construction with Perceptions builders and we are very satisfied the outcome of the house . I am very satisfied with the look, lay out at this moment of the house can't wait to move .
Perceptions agents are very supportive from the pre start, from planning of the house, thru to the selections of tiles, doors, carpets, roofs etc.
Perceptions agents keeps me updated on the stage of construction and the contact from the staff was very helpful on my side because I am working Fly in Fly out to Perth.

My wife and I decided to move closer to our children - A sea change to a tree change. We worked with one of Perceptions Senior Consultants and designed a home that catered for all our needs.
Construction is well under way and we are very happy with the build management and construction supervisor. we are delighted with the customer support and service. We feel as if we are family.

We decided to build a turnkey investment with Perceptions and are very satisfied with the look, layout and all finishes to the home. Perceptions were fantastic from the onset with excellent advice on the minor changes we could make to the build along with providing a comprehensive selection of finishes. The workmanship was of high quality and the management of the trades throughout was well organized. Regular updates and contact from support staff was helpful in keeping us ahead of any actions or decisions on our part.

We were very happy with the process from the salesman to the handover. Perceptions quoted a good price for the quality. The price remained fixed throughout the build. At pre-start we could spend as much or as little as we liked with no pressure to upgrade. Our site supervisor was excellent, always returning calls and accommodating any requests were possible.

The building experience with Perception was good. We had an experienced consultant who helped us with our design and a brilliant supervisor who was approachable and open to resolve any concerns we had with the build of the house. We had a slight issue with getting the design finalised in house, but once we had that sorted and the building started, we were please we went with Perceptions. Good value for money.

Overall I was very happy with the final result of the home. I would score Perceptions 5 out of 5 for the design and 5 out of 5 for the final finish, workmanship and quality of the home. The only thing I could complain about, was that the construction process went overtime. Thank you Perceptions for a job well done.

Very good to deal with I designed this house during Fifo work and was so easy to design with getting ideas across and the management understanding what I had in mind. I still have a issues with my spa but use are still standing beside me and wanting to fix it as quick as I do. It was a real pleasure to build with a company like yourselves.

Decided to choose Perceptions as the building cost is reasonable. The site supervisor is flexible to let the tiler do extra work prior to completion. Problems with leaking water in laundry and it was fixed and monitored by an outsourced-plumbing company. Construction quality is not superb as the wall plasters is vulnerable and powderly compared with my previous 20-year old house but standard is acceptable for its price tag

From first point of contact Paul ( Display home consultant) was so professional and helpful. I can't describe how fantastic Paul was. He was available all the time and responded to email and phone calls very promptly even later on he left Perception. The color consult provided by Jo was so helpful, this was included at no extra cost, I wouldn't have been able to do it without her. She has great experience about color selection and always gave you professional advise to match your expectation. The whole team build a house from offsite and made it so easy and enjoyable.

After much research we decided on Perceptions. Bernie was our initial contact during the sales and development stage. He was excellent and had great knowledge that helped us decide on our design. Bernie gave us ideas that helped us save money yet gave us exactly what we wanted in our new double story home. We progressed to the building stage and Georgina and Steve took over. As this was my first home as an investor, I was unsure of what to expect. However, the professionalism of the Perceptions team soon put my mind at ease. I was very impressed by the overall handling of the project, the friendliness of the sales team, and the relatively quick turnaround for completing the house (approx. 12 months). I will definitely consider using Perceptions for my next investment purchase.

This was the second time we built our house. We were lucky that we met Keith of Perceptions and chose Perceptions to built out two storey home. He was very helpful and patient in giving advice, showing us around, visiting us, making modifications to the plan, and in dealing with the council. He also referred some contractors who gave us heavily discounted prices for jobs that were not part of the building contract. The after sales team's service is also great. They are easy to approach. The defects and maintenance jobs were attended promptly. We are very happy with our new home and Perception's service. Next time I build another house, I won't bother to shop around; I would just make a phone call to Perceptions to get things going.

We built with Perceptions the Two Storey Specialist as we loved the house plan and found they offered a great specifications as standard. The whole process with Perception home is easy and stress free. They were always timely reply to any queries and provided us with all the information that we requested. We extremely happy with level of service from initial planning stages through to customer liaison officer and site supervisor. We are thankful that they were able to provide a professional level of service and quality that made our overall building experience enjoyable and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning to build.

We built our first double story home with perceptions in 2012. It was a great building experience. We received superb customer service and had excellent supervisor (Jeff Kobel). The house has stunning finish.
Perceptions was on time in all stages from beginning to end.
Wonderful house plan designer, Michael Gardener, helped us all the way through from selecting house design to do all the variations.

We built a double story house with Perception (Luxury Home Builder!), and we had too many issues with after sales services. When they completed the job, they cashed up and left without looking back. Absolutely no customer satisfaction. We spent over half a million dollars with these guys and no respect at the end. Please do not build with them, feel free to contact me for further advice.

Perception seemed to be happy to accept your money but not keen to deliver what they promise initially, at the time of sign up.
