This was the best policy to choose at the time we got our puppy. Now she is 9, the price is getting high but we have had value for money.

Our maremma sheepdog Misty is the latest in a line of maremmas that have been covered by PetSecure over many years. Claims have always been handled expeditiously, and any queries are promptly attended to. We humans also feel secure with PetSecure!

My Aussie Shepherd "Focus" now going on 13 and sadly has age related issues.
She has been insured with Petsecure for 11 years and with ongoing treatment Petsecure has covered costs with no fuss.
It is a worthwhile expense for my best Mate and relieves the financial pressure.

Pay lots of money each money but when comes to making a claim mostly hassle free. Last claim needed a prompt but we got it sorted in the end thankfully.

I have been with this company for approx 9 years. Processing of claims are quick and easy.
I feel that it is great value and provides peace of mind. I have had to claim many times.

Whilst I think the premiums are quire expensive ( I have three dogs) the service and

Better than human private health insurance

We have 2 dogs and live in an area snakes inhabit. Took out policies on both dogs in case of snake bite but have found it so useful for other minor ailments and surgeries. Vet sends accounts to Pet Secure and the money is deposited in our bank - very efficient!

The only niggling doubt I have is over the use of offshore call centre, although to be fair, they have been very helpful, it's just that I would prefer it to be home based.
Policy seems to be good value, and claims have all been promptly paid, once all the paperwork ended up in the correct place.
Not sure exactly how long we have been covered by this policy, I believe it is over one year.

Was given misinformation about what I was covered for, then when my dog had the treatment and I put a claim in it was rejected, I only found out it was rejected after waiting for 6 weeks with no response/ email or letter so I called and was told I wasn't covered for that issue. This WAS NOT what I was told on a previous enquiry. I wanted to check before I had the treatment to make sure it was covered so I didn't get any surprises. Very disappointed and will cancel my insurance.

Still no official response, except when I called and was put through to an international call centre who seemed unsure of Thier response or my policy. Check out recent Google reviews people.

I've had many of my Bernese Mountain dogs insured with PetSecure. They are efficient and reliable and have a heart and discretion when it counts. The inclusion of dental would make them perfection!

With Pet Secure for 10 years. Now that my dog has significant health issues, I can provide the expensive medications for her. I lodge online and claims are paid into my bank account, usually within 2-3 days. Customer service is excellent and staff are really helpful.

So reliable at a horrible time

For a terrible 6 months we had so many vet bills and without Petsecure we wouldn't have been able to continue treatment for our beautiful boy. We could lodge online, benefits paid into our account like clockwork. They never rang us or harrassed us, or even questioned a single claim. The policy is easy to understand and the process of claiming is easy and transparent. For the small cost per week we couldn't recommend them highly enough and would not choose another insurer for our kaiser

We've been with persecute for 19years and been very happy with them until the last month or so l found certain phone personal very difficult to deal with and when my cat passed away suddenly there's was non compassion what so ever

About 8 years. They cashed our cheque for premium but didn't add it policy and did not let us know they weren't accepting cheques for payment. They do pay on claims and at a good percentage. They didn't send out renewals for a few years. We had to contact them to pay renewal.

Approx 7 years, having insurance for both my dogs, a mini daschsund and a German shepherd. Pet secure have always been timely in their responses, with any money claimed paid quickly and with no trouble. Costs are reasonable and I wouldn’t be without it.

Hi Pippin, this sounds like this is a pre- existing condition which means it would not be covered. He can only be covered for illnesses that are not pre- existing. Kind regards Liz
