I just put the dial on to 200 and the timer for 15 minutes and it works then
The timer knob starts my Viva Philips airfryer when that knob is rotated clockwise; then the airfryer stays on until the timer knob rotates back to zero. If yours doesn't start it might be faulty (min...

Read moreng out oils and fats. I can without a doubt tell you this airfryer will deliver food better tasting and without any need to use oil, in fact, any oil naturally occurring in the food drops into the bottom of the fryer so its delivering quality and healthy food with no loss of flavour. I could absolutely tell you that this machine has played a very big role in helping me shed my weight by still allowing me to cook the foods I love but in a much healthier way. This is definitely the machine for you. And yes, 30 kilos are gone in 51 weeks! Can I use baking paper in the basket?
Yes but if there is not enough weight on it, it will blow around.
Hi Maria, thank you for your question! It is indeed possible to use baking paper in the basket of the Airfryer. There are a few things to take into account though: Make sure to never cover the basket ...
Read morebottom completely with it. To cook the food well, there needs to be a proper airflow through the basket. If you cover the bottom of the basket, this reduces the airflow in the basket, which diminishes the cooking performance of your Airfryer. It's also important to never put baking paper in the Airfryer without placing food on it - the baking paper would be sucked to the heater and could start to burn. We hope this answers your question! Kind regards, The Philips Australia TeamI bought a HD9220 about six months ago and use it almost daily. But the catch that holds the basket in place no longer works. It is quite a difficult and possibly dangerous operation to remove cooked food without special lying everything.
How can this be fixed? While it is probably still under warranty I have mislaid the receipt.

Hello, I just want to ask your opinions about the capacity of this specific model. It is 0.8kg and I'm wondering if the size is fine for a family of 3, where one is a toddler. I'm also looking at the Smith and Noble brand but the 3L cap looks too big. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
There are 2 adults in my family, our last cook in the fryer was 400g chips and there was plenty of room. We were even able to calculate the cooking times by going by the recipe book cooking time...
Thank you. This is helpful. Regards.
I find the capacity just right for two of us. Not sure about other models but this one works well. In case I need more like my children visiting I use it twice and since it does most in 15 minutes I have no issues.

Read more Bear in mind that one of the great benefits of the airfryer is that you don't have to put things in a single layer like you do in a regular oven. For example, I often hear people complaining that they can only fit 4 or 5 chicken wings in the basket. However, I point out that you can chuck a whole pile of wings it there, you just need to shake them around at intervals. The circulating heated air gets into all the nooks and crannies! I made some the other day and cooked about 14 wings at once and they came out beautifully. The uneven shape of the wings helped to create lots of spaces for the air to move around them.I am planning to buy a airfryer, can you please explain the difference between HD 9220 and HD 9216 (also what's the difference between viva and daily collection)?
