Up to the reputations
The best gas heater I bought. I have gone through the reviews from many websites as well as from this website.
It's really a good heater and warms up the room pretty quickly.
It is not very quiet heater but it size and looks are very good.
If you do not need three meter hose pipe.. than go for shorter one.

This is our 3rd Rinnai
This one we purchased to replace our older model, that still worked perfectly so gave it to my mother! I will only buy these heaters now, we also have an even older Rinnai Titan Mk II in our TV room that still works beautifully. This model is sleek and discrete and so powerful it heats our large living room, dining room and kitchen within minutes. These rooms are in one big open plan area with wooden floorboards and a lot of uncovered windows and floor to ceiling glass sliders. Our visitors often ask if we have central heating! These heaters are well worth their price and I can highly recommend a Rinnai of any model.

Keeps a large area very warm
I was a little cynical when we purchased this as I thought it would be too small to heat our large living space. We have been using it for a few years now and are very pleased with how warm it makes the living area. I would recommend it despite it being a little pricey, it's worth it!

No smell, thermostatic control.
From the reviews I was concerned about two things: smell and poor temperature control. The unit I purchased suffered from neither. It clearly is thermostatically controlled and seven people in the room could not detect any smell whatsoever. I estimate the unit was operating at 50% and was doing a far better job than a 3kW rc air conditioner plus a 2kW electric fan heater.
Even at 100% (25 MJ/hr) a 45kg LPG bottle (2,200 MJ) will last 88 hrs. It costs $110 per refill, which is $1.25/hr to run compared to $2.40/hr for 5kW of electricity between...Read more

Cost Effective heater
With rising costs to electivity and gas - finding a cost effective heater was essential. This has been an excellent buy as it is cheap to run and heats up the entire floor of my house. Buy Rinnai - it is simply the best brand in heaters and this is the best heater I have ever bought.

Heats up the room nicely
We purchased this almost a year ago for the bottom floor of our house as it is always really cold downstairs! This heats up the room really well and we feel warm and toasty. It's easy to use. Love it and will highly recommend this brand. When filter button starts flickering, all you need to do is wipe the dust away with a damp cloth and it'll be fine to use again.

Warmth, without overheating
Finally bought a gas heater, as the bayonet was put in when the house was built ten years ago. It is used to take the chill off in the evenings, very effectively. We turn it off ten minutes before retiring to bed, and the fan goes off fairly soon, before we go upstairs.

Just what I needed
Pumps out excellent heat and is so easy to use. Ultra quiet. Even though it is the un flued model it does not make the house smell at all. Warms the entire house and the economy function is awesome. Small condensation on some windows but I think you would get that from any gas heater.

Fabulous heater, room is warm in seconds!
Purchased this heater at the end of last winter and wishing we had done it sooner. It heats so quickly and the temperature setting is a must for comfort. The remote control is fabulous to switch the heater off 10 minutes or so before hauling up off the lounge for bed. Brilliant heater, love it.

Excellent product
very quiet, warm and stylish. Love the remote on /off option. This was a 2nd hand purchase running on LPG but hardly used. Found the user manual online. Our home is very open plan with many levels and we live mid north coast od NSW, really warms up. Owned Rinnai before.

Most effective heater ever!
We bought this heater 2nd hand in Feb 2017 (preparation for Winter) based on a friend's experience, it was 18 months old. It was clean and had been serviced. We are in Auckland and so far have used it this Autumn and are looking forward to Winter now.
Almost Instant heat, quiet powerful fan, heats a large semi-open area consisting of lounge/family/kitchen/dining in our home. It heats this area from 10/14 centigrade to 20 in about 15 minutes. Love it, recommend it. One of the best heating purchases we have ever made.

Brilliant heaters
We have two of these heaters and they do a great job heating downstairs of our house. Had one for a few years and is going without problems and purchased a second for last winter. One is in silver and one in beige. Both run off the mains gas. Easy to use and fast to heat up

Awesome heater
Very happy. It easily heats 161sq . Live in a coastal area but we have it set on 22 but often have to turn it down. We utilise the economy mode and timer operations. So nice to wake up to a warm house. Would recommend it to anyone wanting quality heating.

MAKES THE HOUSE SO COMFY
I was recommended by friends to get one of these heaters for years, so I finally made the investment. This heater is amazing. I spent years paying power bills that were too high and not even great heat. This heater finally delivers so much warmth in such a small amount of time. do yourself a favour. Go get one.

Toasty
I love the heat and cost efficiency of this product. I would prefer to have a more modern looking version and am looking to upgrade for aesthetic reasons but this appliance has served my family well for 10 years. We have a large 4 bedroom house with high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows, which means we require heat efficiency. Electricity is too expensive and an open fireplace inconvenient. This is the perfect solution for a busy family.

a grat heater for the colder months
if looking for a great invention that is user friendly that this is the device and model for you
it reduces cost and over head to the consumer and it actually works in the coldest of homes in the tablelands
it assists with a fan heater that is heat variable

Just Awesome.
OMG our new heater is the best investment that we have bought for a long time, so cozy warm. I have 4 dogs and sometimes it is hard to get a spot in front of the heater, but really we don't need to because the whole room heats up. We put the timer on and it is nice and toasty warm when we come home on a blistery cold day, its so warm that sometimes we just sit there in a t shirt and shorts and it is still warm.

Just started to use my unit again and notice that their is a smell, the smell is very much like gas.. any ideas or suggestions

Hi Ceylan tursunbek, thanks for the question. There can be a smell associated with portable heaters when they are first turned on after not being used for a long period if time as any dust that has settled burns off.
Our technical team may be able to help troubleshoot the issue and are available on 1300 555 545 option 3.
