Please be very careful with this Company !!
Having read Product Reviews & ‘Roadside Response’ web page. (Reviews). Countless people have written ‘Roadside Response’ does misrepresent themselves as NRMA. People have written on their Website, they have reported the Company to ACCC & their Bank. NRMA has been alerted about this Company, they are monitoring their Link on Google. I typed in ‘NRMA Road Service’ a 1300 number appeared, clicked on the number..,,thinking it was NRMA. They have Billed me $110 - I waited 3 hours for the mechanic to arrive ( I was told they were busy every time I r...Read more
ang to ask how much longer). Mechanic arrive 3 hours later, he left after 8 minutes. He arrived in a large white van....no NRMA written on Van. He didn’t wear an NRMA Uniform, only a Hazmat Vest. . I actually asked are you NRMA ?? He just mumbled something...if he was honest he would have said, “No, I am not NRMA’ he didn’t. Read the reviews on their website written by drivers who have been caught out. One person wrote don’t believe any of the Good Reviews...they are probably ‘Roadside Response Employees. How many people have been caught out thinking they were speaking with NRMA & then getting charged for a Call Out - when the Call Out is free for NRMA MEMBER. Sad that we have these type of companies who are misrepresenting themselves. I wonder how much money they have made from innocent people believing they had Booked a Service Call with NRMA. I have now put NRMA in my phones Contacts. Just be very very careful...when Booking a NRMA Road Service Call . Their website will not allow anymore Reviews to be written.Similar opinion? Absolute Misrepresentation of NRMA Roadside Assistance
Like those before me, the sponsored ads are clearly designed to sit above NRMA. Despite my confusion at the fee and enquiry about membership and being (NRMA) roadside assistance they we more than happy to misrepresent who they were. Even better when the car started not 16 minutes later I got stung a $66 cancellation fee. If I could give zero stars I would.

Overpriced and false advertising with free delivery and fitting
Just had a person come to install a battery to my son's Harley. I was told over the phone that it would be about $400. When I commented that was pretty steep for a battery, I was told it was because it was a large battery. Ok, I accepted that, as I had no idea, and as I was out and about I did not have time to check this out online. When the man arrived (he was lovely by the way), I commented that the battery was not large, and it fact was not much different to the battery in my Yamaha R6. He agreed it was not a large battery, and said it was a...Read more
medium sized. Now, it took him a while to fit the battery and I was surprised how complicated it was, but he admitted to me that he had only fitted one other before this one, so he did not have the experience or know-how. I then called a motorcycle shop and mechanic and they confirmed that anyone who knows their way around this bike would not have taken that long to change the battery. Furthermore, the website states you will not be beaten on price! The price from this site was $234 https://www.batteryworld.com.au/YTX16-BS-1Y-Yuasa-Motorcycle-Battery When I called back to query this, I was then told that it cost more because of the difficulty in fitting it! As I said though, it was more difficult because he was unfamiliar with it. It is not MY fault that you sent someone who was not skilled with this type of bike. Your website states that delivery and fitting is free! This is a complete misrepresentation of what you do, and I will be sure to let other riders and shops know that your statements online are a farce. Disgusted!

Charged $110 for no service
I called Roadside Response, and was immediately asked for my credit card details. I provided them, but said I would double check if I had NRMA Roadside Assistance first. I then did not call back, but had $110 charged to my card as a 'callout fee' despite never providing any service. I called the company and asked them why they had charged and was told as I had never 'cancelled the call out' I was liable. They said giving over my credit card details was permission to charge. When I called and talked to a manager named Sue she was increidbly...Read more
rude and talked over the top of me the entire call and said they would send 'debt collectors' after me (despite the fact they have already received the payment when they charged my card without authorisation). Have reported them to my bank. I am now pursuing legal action with the ACCC. Incredibly poorly run company.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Greedy day light robbers.
I would not advise anyone to seek for help from this business no matter how stranded you are, look for other services. In my own opinion this business lack professionalism, do not pay attention to detail and are not thourough. Rang RSR for a flat battery. None turned within the expected time. No phone call or text. Rang again was told to wait 15 to 30 mins. None turned out no phone call or text. Rang to cancel the request was told they will still take my $ just because they didn't deliver the service. After a few minutes an unidentified, in a ...Read more
rush someone came and just jump started my car without even waiting. Did not inform me about my battery status. Just told me to run it for up to 40 mins. Car turned off by its self at 40 minutes. Rang RSR and was told my battery could not hold the capacity. Common sense, why did you not say it when you came to my rescue. Why did you not advise me l needed a new battery. I would rate this company a big 0. Beware there are day light robbers out there.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Roadside Response has cheated me and charged me without my permission for Two Years!
In Nov 2018, Roadside Response told me they were NRMA Road Assistant which I was looking for, and I had been cheated to pay $99 and I never use them any service. After that, I constantly asked for refund but they rejected.
7.36pm 6/11/2019, I called Roadside Response on 1300 468 931, to ensure they my cancellation. The young man told me there was NO automatical renew and confirmed my cancellation. But I had been charged $99 again on 7/11/2019.

Great work
What an absolute great company. Coming off the airplane after a 5hr flight to my vehicle to find my vehicle would not open or start, there was myself and my daughter so we I phoned Roadside response and spoke with receptionist Erin in which was amazing and very helpful, I had explained that my parking ticket was going to expire very soon, the gentleman came in 10-15 mins, checked my battery and it was dead flat, so he replaced the battery he to was very polite and helpful . I would highly recommend this company. Great experience from start to finish.

Use NRMA instead
So; $99 call out fee, and - if you're in a hurry - you are better off walking to your destination. These guys give you the "60 minutes to 90 minutes" speech, but they take three hours to arrive. This is unacceptable. When you realise what you're getting yourself in to (by reading all these reviews while you wait for them), you try to cancel, but there's a $66 cancellation fee. Say you need your battery replaced - they will take the money out of your account BEFORE the service van arrives (i.e. $230 was taken off my card within minutes of me cal...Read more
ling them). I notice many people here thought they were calling another, more reputable service, but accidentally rang these people when their ad popped up on top in Google. As in my case, where I constantly tried to give them my NRMA membership number. At no stage did the representative correct me. This company seems to make every effort to disguise themselves as another, better business. I have no formal legal training, and so am unable to advise anybody whether this represents an illegal business practice.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Avoid at all costs
I thought I had called Allianz Roadside Assistance, however called this organisation. Couldn't start my car and they came out and charged me $399 for a new battery. The next morning I had the same problem, car didn't start. I called a mechanic to come out and have a look. The issue was the battery in the remote. It cost me $10 for a new battery. I called this place back for a report on the testing of my battery. A week later, after several calls, I am still waiting. I really feel like I have been ripped off.

Never Again
Honestly if I could rate 0 stars I would. I called in this morning as I had a flat tyre on my way to work. I was in panic mode so I was supposed to call NRMA however I had called this company without realising. The operator was very rude and misleading me when she asked about my plate number she straight said that you don’t have a policy with us I assume talking to NRMA road assistant and there is some mistake renewing my annual fee so she kept asking about my credit card number so she can finish the payment after I realize that I wasn’t with NRMA called back she hang up on me
Roadside response didn’t end up fixing my tyre Nrma did I asked to get my money back or some she hang up the call again rude and unhelpful

Exceptional service
Fantastic service start to finish. I couldn’t get my car started and wasn’t sure what was wrong, the girl I spoke to on the phone asked me a few questions and told me it sounded like a battery issue. She was able to give me a very reasonable price for a new battery and told me their technician would test everything before replacing it. I would definitely use roadside response again in future and highly recommend.

Extremely Efficient and Timely Service !
Called in for a flat battery in my ND MX5 - Josie was very polite, courteous and efficient - call logged - SMS to my phone with a link to the Roadside Response tracker - I could see the technician approaching. From call to Roadside Response to battery replacement by very good technician took 45 minutes end to end. Josie contacted me after the tech visit to make sure I was happy with their service. Indeed I was - would definitely use this service again. The price was also quite reasonable with a 3 Year Battery Replacement Warranty. Well done guys - do keep up the excellent work.

My wife and I needed a tyre changed by an agreed time of 60 to 90 minutes. After two hours, nothing, so we cancelled and called the NRMA. We were told the cancellation fee was $66. The Company was reminded about the agreed parameter for performance to be be fit for purpose. Alex agreed to waive the charge. We were charged $100, for no service. My understanding is a service needs to performed, as contracted. Moreover, if a cancellation fee is applied, it needs to be at nominal percentage of the total fee for service.

This is fraud and theft by this company. From the reviews this is common practice with this company Roadside Response. They have no legal right to keep your money. They did not provide a good or a service or abide by the terms of the contract. This is all contrary to Australian Consumer Law. Put a complaint in to the Office of Fair Trading, the Ombudsman or your bank and you will get your money back. This company really needs to be exposed on A Current Affair or some other programme. A predatory dishonest company. So disgusted with them. Their customer service is trained to lie and talk over you in order to keep the stolen money.
