Very disappointing
Only purchased 4 months ago and so disappointed. Battery doesn't last 24hrs, lucky to last 12hrs. Turns itself off frequently. A lot to pay for something that doesn't deliver as it promises. Wish I had bought a Garmin as they last a couple of days!

Only if need to know the time
Great for work but not for usual daily living as you will use your mobile for everything. I mainly use for work as I cannot hold my mobile phone with me. It is great to have for tell you the time and can quick check on emails but very hard to type on or view things in a such small screen and take so much time to type a few words to send text messages.

Design - This watch is stunning to look at and very easy to use. The exterior is extremely easy to scuff / scratch which isn’t the greatest considering it is a watch. I have not yet contacted Samsung with this issue as it seems like a very very common issue ( I will contact them soon and see what their response is ) Connectivity - This has been seem less with 4g and Bluetooth. I have had no connection issues at all. I have excellent service with messages and calls, no drop out nor has it been impacted indoor, in saying that I do live central to my town. Setup - This blew me away with how simple the setup was, my two year old could if done it. Love this stylish gorgeous watch

WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
I've worn it for 12 hours and the battery reads 15%, and I haven't even made a call or sent a text message. I regret buying, it's virtually useless as it spends more time on the charging dock than on my wrist. I am SOOOO disappointed!!!!

Brilliant idea, just one annoying downside, and a few small issues.
Purchased in April 2022 so I could drive a fast boat and not have to lug my mobile phone along. Although it is legal to handle your mobile while steering a boat, it is not a good look.
Cost $499 directly from a Samsung kiosk in Sydney.
Bought several other wristbands online to use with it.
Ongoing cost is just $5 a month to Telstra to make it a slave of my Samsung S8 mobile.( It is not "tethered" to my mobile unless it is close by, but operates as a separate phone on my wrist when they are far apart.)
There are no additional voice or data costs as it using my mobile phone account for stuff i would normally use my mobile phone for.
The best feature: perfect mobile phone on my wrist, without even having my mobile phone anywhere nearby.

So dissapointed
Saved like crazy never spend this amount of money. It overheats and shuts down just sitting on my table. Battery last 4hrs if I'm lucky. Should be wearing it but it never works properly. First month was great lasted 3 days.

Battery life poor and service is terrible
I can't comment on many of the features, because to achieve an 18 hour battery life I have had to turn OFF, exercise monitoring, heart monitoring, and sleep monitoring. Also, the handwriting recognition function will turn itself off after 2-6 hours, every time. So I'm continually turning it back on.
Worst of all is the service. See above comments - "if you want us to look at it you have to have it assessed by a technician." Except when you have an issue that only occurs after a few hours they refuse to actually test the defect, instead just...Read more

I have been told by their VOC team that I "need to see the store staff again because I probably haven't learnt how to use the function". If you can run your samsung phone its a walk in the park...so easy to use, very bright amoled screen, nice and clear, responsive and lots of features..rotating bezel is very good as is the watchface options. You can download additional watchfaces and stop watch etc.

Battery life is crap
The galaxy watch is very good except for the fact that the battery does not even last a day. I purchased the 42 gold cel, I have the watch so that it does not show the time constantly, you have to press the button for the time, and it does not last from morning to night. I put it on around 7am, and by 8-9 it turns off as the battery is flat. This makes the watch a pain, I need a watch that can at the very least, last until I go to bed. I am very disappointed. It does many cool things, I do not play with it all day as I am busy working, I would think that the battery would last much better, god knows how long it would last if you actually used all the cool functions.

Favourite Samsung product
Cant fault at all, no need to carry my phone aro uh n all day. Being able to call and text with the use of the Esim is so simple. I love being able to bluetooth spotify directly to my headphones from my watch and being able to go for a walk without having to carry a phone around. Love the rose gold, its nice to have a watch that is that little more girly
