Hate the smoke

published

Does heat the house. The smoke pours out each time we open the door. Handle fell off. Disconnected the fan relay as it took to long to get goin again. Barbecues galore are terrible and say we are doin it all wrong. We had slow combustion heaters for 35 years. This is our 3rd. The 2 previous heaters were great.

Purchased at Barbeques Galore for A$3,000.00.

Second time we have used the new heater, the fan doesn't work, but did start randomly during the day when the fire was not burning. How do we bypass the electronics?

Hi, I must say that whilst I think this heater is terrible and a complete waste of money, it does change from high to low pretty well. It will burn slowly all night. All I can think of is that the bar that opens and closes has moved from its proper position and is not closing the air holes correctly. Try and check to see what happens as you slide the air intake open and closed. Hope this helps.
