Love it
Absolutely love this set. Use one of them at least once every day
Did take some time to learn how to use the fry pan but now I know I would not go back to other "non stick"

Almost perfect
I love using these saucepans, the weight is good, the handles are cool to touch and give good grip. I love the glass lids with the steam release. My only gripe is that these saucepans do not have a rolled rim on them, and the drip factor can be an issue. Hoping that Scanpan changes this with new models - otherwise love them.

Solid value cookware
We've grown our collection to two saucepans and a frypan over the years. They have heavy bases and see-through lids, cook evenly, clean up well, and look great. The handles stay cool. No muss, no fuss, good value cookware.
Scanpan has an online care guide - http://www.scanpan.com.au/files/StainlessSteel_UserGuideLR122012.pdf or Gogle "Scanpan user guide" - which sets out how to wash them if they have cooked-on material (put some water in the pan and boil) or a brown heat tint (a little water and carb soda, and scrub).

Beautiful pan-worst utensil
Very happy to be given a stainless steel scanpan frypan but when I used it to cook battered fish, it stuck to the bottom. Couldn't retrieve anything so very very disappointed and will not be using it again and it's destined to be sent for scrap.

Not happy!
Fell in love with and bought on 3 June 2017. What I immediately loved about them was the silicon inserts on the pot handles and lids. I was also impressed with the measurement levels on the inside of the saucepans. Unfortunately, after taking them home and using them, I am very unhappy. On the first use of each of the saucepans, and using relatively low gas flame, each of them have been left with unsightly marks which cannot be removed. I have used them two or three times since and depending on what I am cooking, the food sticks. For example, I...Read more
made a bean stew and everything stuck to the bottom. I had to take out what wasn't stuck, clean the saucepan, and put the stew back in, and even with continual stirring, it still stuck to the bottom. So, so, very unhappy with what I ultimately fell I love with and was so excited to be using. And they were not inexpensive. I have contacted the kitchen shop where we purchased them and they have suggested that I contact Scanpan direct and see what they suggest. The kitchen shop said they would recommend Impact over the Coppernox, but that they didn't have any direct experience or feedback with what had happened to my Coppernox set. They did say that with all the Impact products, they had never received any bad reviews. However, after reading reviews on the Impact, don't know whether we would want those either. We still have two 20 year old Essteele saucepans and the insides of the new set look older than the Essteele.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
How can a saucepan have a handle that heats up?? This has to be a fault
Not happy. Every time I use the saucepans the handles are too hot to hold. Thought this would be a basic must in cook ware. Wont buy or recommend to anyone.

Stainless steel fry pan is the worst
So very disappointed in the stainless steel Impact frypan. It was expensive and absolutely everything sticks that I don't use it anymore although it's only weeks old. I wrote 2 emails to Scanpan and also spoke to them but their response was to send me further care instructions!! My $5.00 non-stick frypan from K-mart is the best. Don't waste your money on this overrated product.

Worst frypan ever can't cook omlets
I have bought this fry pan because I got told it was one of the best none stick pans on the market I got told wrong. If you are thinking about cooking a omlet think again I have spent the last 10min trying to clean my fry pan with a nylon spong. Before you think I was cooking too high think again. I was using my bosh stove top on number 4 medium temperature, not happy when I had 4 omlets to go scramble eggs it is

look fantastic and cook beautifully
I bought these to replace some old stainless steel saucepans on which the handles were starting to crack. These cook beautifully, nothing seems to stick and the pans heat evenly on my gas cooktop. They also look gorgeous.

Love my new cookware
I suppose I am a bit biased in that this is the first good quality set of cookware that I have owned. I have had plenty of cheap stuff though so I can definitely tell the difference. The cookware has a good even weight about it and heats up quicker than my cheaper cookware, nice even heat distribution and no hot spots that I have noticed.
It also works really well with my Samsung Induction Cooktop. I thought the price was pretty reasonable too considering I was told at my local kitchen shop that I could expect to pay between $800 -$900 for a basic Clad cookware set. I got a 5 piece set on line for around the same price as a bonded base cookware set at the kitchen shop $350 on special.

Not worth the cost
My husband bought the 6 and the 10 inch frypans. He did what he thought was thorough research and decided that they were non-stick and heavy for even cooking and "no wobbling". I don't even know what they cost because he knew I would not like it. After much use, the 6" pan is ugly, stained and everything sticks to it no matter how much oil or butter I use. Interior is black and I truly hate the pan. The large one has had less use, so it is still serviceable. Anyway, I have not thrown out the little pan because it is my husband's -- however...Read more
, I have a new egg pan coming soon. I believe that the perfect non-stick surface has not been invented yet (but I have a new ceramic pan that is performing well so far in my RV) and that one should not spend too much money every year or so for a good, egg pan. Yep, we eat a lot of eggs.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I love all my scanpan cookware. Excellent condition after 20 years.
Excellent. I have stainless steel appliances as well as all others. Even knives boards and sharpening appliances. I will run out of space in my cupboards if I buy more. I have approximately 35 goodies. Love it to bits.

14 years and counting!
My only complaint about these pots and pans is that there is still no need to replace them after 14 years and I wouldn't mind a shiny new set. I was slightly concerned about a couple of exposed rivets on the interior of the pots, but they've proved to be a non issue. Extremely happy with these pots.

Scanpan Coppernox. Have to live without it as it does not do the job.
My scanpan coppernox frying pan burns things every time I use it. I would like a solution not just a chance to write a review. This item was not inexpensive and it is taking up space in my drawer.

Every time I use my stockpotsthing all of the food sticks and burns on the bottom of the pan. This occurs on the lowest gas setting also. Any help to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated

Heavy base, durable and come beautifully
Had mine for 2 years and still going strong.
This is a stainless steel model and while it says that the steel is stainless, IT WILL STAIN if you over heat it and burn something on it.
The handle never gets hot and the rivets are very secure so i don't see these breaking or loosening up at all.
Heat distribution is excellent.
Depending on what you cook, this cam take a bit of elbow grease to clean but soaking it in hot water with a bit of detergent will help greatly.
Overall, u highly recommend this over the non stick products and especially of you are good at, or know a thing or two about cooking.
4/5 stars

Excellent warranty
Bought a scanpan fusion CS5 many years ago - but recent faulty rivet. Emailed the warranty section "Sheldon and Hammond Pty. Ltd" They were great with a quick reply and new replacement ( Clad 5 range) as the fusion has been discontinued. Great customer service !! Great product with the fusion pan as food doesn't stick (Just as good as a non stick pan)

This is better than non-stick
I read most of the reviews on this site and they were rather ambiguous on the final outcome of things. Some were really impressed while some were rather disappointed. I have used it everyday for the past 6 meals now and have no trouble cleaning and cooking on these pans. In fact they were better than non-stick. I made a 28cm round egg pancake with no sticking, made sunny side-up eggs, omelette, fried noodles and saucy chinese dishes with no issues. It's pretty obvious the bottom will be scratch but they don't bother me much. Also, I used it on ...Read more
gas burners. I did read that some people had bad experience on these burners but I have no problem with the gas burner. It did not burn the pan or ruin the dishes. Just make sure you control the heat well and pre-heat the pan sufficiently before cooking. I used the water test every time I cook and works perfectly each time. Just be patient and wait for the pan to heat up. I am using sunflower oil to cook on these pans. The smoking point is relatively high compared to olive oil which makes it great on superheated pans. After cooking, I let them cool while I enjoy my delicious dinner made on these pans and have them washed under warm soapy water later. Then I give them a quick scrub with bi-carb soda and vinegar mixture. The scrub literally shines the pan. Well this is my first set of stainless steel pan and I am an amateur home cook. I started cooking 3 years ago at the age of 17 when I first came to Melbourne for further studies. I started off with non-sticks of course but have now progressed to stainless steel pans. For an amateur with no culinary background to be able to handle these pans effortlessly, I am very very sure more experienced cooks will have no issue with these pans at all. These pans are very good so far. I would totally recommend these pans. Please just go ahead and buy them. With proper (internet cooking class) techniques and care, these pans are bloody amazing.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent build quality, practical design and excellent in use
We have several Scanpan Commercial pots & pans in our kitchen and found them to be excellent in every assessment.
Great design cues includes :
- carry hollow handles that stay cooler for longer.
- clean lines to allow for cleaning & scrubbing.
- excellent fitting lids to keep heat in
- heavy gauge steel means they are unlikely to deform over time
- solid welds at all joins for durability
- heavy steel alloy base for excellent heat transfer & retention

Bought a stainless steel scan-an wok ... high heat for stir fry is impossible in this pan. Had a scanpan non stick .... perfect for many years. Swapped for the stainless steel ... very disappointed.( I have a gas cooktop & wok burner)
a)what am I doing wrong?
b) where to dispose of my new pan?
2 answers
Definitely cook on the lowest heat ...... don’t dispose ... I’ve persevered with mine and only ever have my gas at the minimum flame
Thanks Mandy.
Will put it on trial for another recipe.
