My first build was not a good experience to say the least so this time around, I decided to pay for peace of mind. First impressions count of course and my first impression of SSH came in the form of Scott Caruso, a down-to-earth and candid custom home specialist who assisted me during the design stage. lso count and Project Coordinator, Sarah Magarey, was a godsend, beyond amazing. She went above and beyond the call of duty, making the selections for me when I was too time poor, and saving me from many off-script disasters when I wasn't. To call her a perfectionist is an understatement. Site Manager, Nick Zammit, was just as diligent. I experienced very few issues with the build overall and Nick attended to these promptly. There was a delay, but it was outside the team's control, and Nick moved heaven and earth to keep the build on track after this. Absolutely love our new Scott Salisbury Home
If you're thinking of building a new home, you really can't go past the quality and professional service you will get from Scott Salisbury Homes. From our first meeting with our Custom Home Specialist, Scott Caruso we knew we had made the right decision. that were very helpful to us and once we got to the construction stage the fortnightly updates from Sarah were fantastic as it kept us in the loop as to the stages our home was at. Our Site Manager Lyndon Carter was a pleasure to deal with. His drive and commitment to keep our build on track was second to none. As this was our fist build it was a truly pleasurable experience. Excellent service
I take this opportunity to provide my feedback about the site manager we were assigned to at the later stage of our build, we initially had a rough start but after Bob Scaysbrook took over our project everything went smoothly, he made things possible for us and handed the house on the promised date, he loves his job and achieves high standard for the clients. He is the biggest asset for SSH and we wish him all the very best in all his endeavours.

It was all about location when we bought the worst house in the best street. A 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, post war eyesore housed us & our 3 teenage children while we looked at options to build new or renovate. Great Experience building with SSH - would absolutely do it again
We had originally started our process with another builder but cancelled after a lack of communication and execution on their part prior to breaking ground (thankfully). We then met with SSH's and stepped them through (in a lot of detail) of what we wanted for a lifestyle property to suit 3 very active boys, a dog and a property we expect to stay in for 10-20 years.

looked for a stylistic type home, but actually ended up quite conventional (this was our doing, not SSH who put forward some great concepts). Through the process of meeting with Rick (sales) and Scott, then Mel (coordinator) and Mark (site supervisor), we nutted out exactly what we wanted - starting with our own house plan and then adopting their ideas, we ended up with a bespoke house that has now become a home. SSH was very flexible in the working arrangements as we did it all in one go including demolition (which SSH organised), Block cut/retain, Aerobic Sewer, Shed, Swimming Pool, Rain Water Tanks and some of our own suppliers for some items for the house, plus we had significant trees (which caused us to move the house location at additional cost, only for that regulation to change during the build!) and we also had CFS requirements to work around (due to the house being a certain distance from the road) which also could have been avoided if we built where we originally wanted to on the block. We built throughout 2012 (started April, moved in week before Xmas) with some delays from Council, but SSH was quickly on top of all Council dealings. There was an additional delay due to complex foundations (expected) and some rock, which pushed the main build efforts into the heart of winter (tough work for the brickies in an Adelaide Hills winter!). The delays were really around not getting the roof on before the rains came which subsequently caused some minor hiccups along the way (particularly with a steep drive causing some problems, particularly after it was trenched and a truck backed into it!). With the roof on and the bricking done, the insides commenced which went along quite well. When time permitted, we also would be onsite regularly to meet with tradies that wanted their particular job to be perfect (mitering of tiles, position of tiles for best aesthetics, paint alignment between rooms/doors, electrical outlet positions, cabling options, etc) and I'm sure Mark developed a nervous twitch whenever he received a call from us.Similar opinion? Love our renovated space!
The Scott Salisbury team comprises of the most friendly, thorough and efficient professionals who excel at what they do. Their attention to detail and flexibility in accommodating our needs was much appreciated – especially since we were going through the renovation process with a 4-month-old baby! Fantastic job all round
In our house we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chickens, 1 rabbit, 1 mother in law, 2 pre-school aged children and 2 parents with full time jobs. A renovation on the scale we undertook was a daunting task however the superior project management, communication and consideration of the SS team resulted in a relative stress free experience. Our home has transforms from a dark dungeon full of sub-standard fittings and fixtures to a light, open welcome space with a quiet understated air of quality. Our renovation experience realized a dream for us. We now have a home we are proud of and accommodates every one of our very extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

! During construction our Building Supervisor provided exceptional customer service and we had ample opportunity to meet him on site and to have access during construction. The end result was well worth the effort. Wonderful company to work with
