The service is almost an afterthought, if you want a better and more efficient experience, go elsewhere
Disclaimer: I have other insurance policies with SGIC.
I went to SGIC because I am an existing customer of theirs and I have enjoyed and taken advantage of their multi-policy discounts for their Home/Car policies.
I logged into my account thinking that this would be a breeze, I was expecting the following experience:
* Login to my account
* Select an option like "Add a new policy > Travel insurance"
* Fill out my destination, travel dates and the details of my travel party
* Maybe be offered a loyalty discount...Read more
