Compartments in the freezer are everything to me! Door space is amazing. Easy to clean and we are a family of 5 that can load it up and not worry
Great fridge/Freezer but........
653L French Door SJF653SPSLWe have the stainless steel finish and it is about 5 years old. The outer skin is made of the thinnest material known to mankind. Ours has many dents and bumps. We really do not manhandle it but it almost dents from just looking at it. What a pity because everything else is really good.
Complaint satisfied
653L French Door SJF653SPSLI wrote earlier, of door problems I had with my "french door" Sharp fridge. At that point I was being offered my money back which was a long way short of the replacement cost.
As of this week Sharp have agreed to replace the fridge, thanks to the assistance of the Harvey Norman (Burleigh Waters Qld)franchisee.
All good!!

When one door (side by side) was opened, the other would also pop open.

We bought a house and purchased the nearly new Sharp SJ-F602SP fridge that was already in it. To get in behind it to clean, I will have to pull it forward into a narrow 'galley kitchen' corridor that runs sideways across the face of the fridge, then push it sideways along the corridor. I presume I will have to screw up the feet so it sits on the castors with the feet up in the air. Is that correct? Do the castors swivel to allow the fridge to be moved sideways as well as forward and back, or are they one direction only castors? Andrew.
Had the common door problems over about 4 years, but are now just living with this.
Fridge has just started freezing the crisper drawer.
Temp setting has been bumped up to 6DEG, still freezing.

When i open one of the fridge doors the other pops open ajar as well. Unless I put my thumb on the other door while I am opening one. I've gotten used to it.
I don't know about the crisper freezing. You may need to get a refridgeration mechanic to investigate. For safe storage of food you need to watch how high you bump the temp up.
