Love it!
We love our new fridge. The french doors give good access to the shelves and is nice and wide to hold platters. The freezer has 6 trays, great for keeping items sorted. The ice cube tray is also well designed. There is also good storage space in the doors. It also fitted the space well. Can recommend the Sharp.

Just What Mum Wanted!
I bought this for my mum in August. She chose it because it didn't have the freezer drawer most French doors have. It slotted right into place with 1cm to spare. Easy to keep clean both inside and out. Great ice tray system and plenty of space. Only negative is that you can't adjust the fridge shelves. Perfect otherwise.

Ticks most of the boxes
We bought our Sharp refrigerator because it would fit on the space available and offered a larger colume capacity than our previous Kelvinator.
It's only been four weeks since the Sharp was put into service but we are very happy. This fridge looks good. It is very quiet which is important because our bed unfortunately backs onto the dividing wall between the bed and the fridge. Performance wise, the Sharp keeps good even temperatures inside both the fridge and freezer.
The only downside is the feeling that the door hinges might be damaged if...Read more

Looks fabulous but unreliable and doesnt work
5 out of 5 for looks, 1 out of 5 for reliability. This is the "Angelina Jollie" of fridges - most beautiful woman in the world. I have this fridge without the pole handles (flat handle is much nicer, simple, plus aesthetically more beauitiful and non marking) I, like, others loved this fridge, it was the making of my kitchen, lovely to look at, easy to use and cooled everything well. My previous fridge was a pigeon pair kelvinator - still going after 30 years just didnt look as nice in my new home. Unfortunately thats where the positive finishe...Read more
s. Like previous reviews I also have found the plastic cracks easily including the vege crisper which the hinges have snaped x2. The bottom of the fridge freezes up and the crisper gets frozen stuck to the base and when you go to slide it out, snap goes the crisper dish lid. The fridge doors dont open as wide as the freezer doors not enough to allow easy removal of the fridge drawers/crisper. But worst issue, I have had it for 3.5 years and it has stopped working, firstly it started not cooling quite enough so on over phone advice I changed some settings (made the freezer warmer although it wasnt really warmer as the icecream stayed frozen, this just allowed the fridge to think so and stop freezing up between the 2 compartments and it appeared to imrove, that was when it was in warranty, now out of warranty its packed up all together it doesnt cool properly, doesnt freeze at all, the freezer operates like a refrigerator. We have pretty much had most of teh parts replaced but it still wont go, this started in April this year and now 6 months later I still dont have an operating fridge. I would like another exactly like this one just because it fits the space in the kitchen and looks sooo good but can I afford to spend this much on something that only goes for 3 years? Sharpe you need to bring back the flat handles, offer longer manufacturer warranty and engineer a fridge that functions as good as it looks. I cant get the same fridge anymore due to the change in handle design now ugly by comparrison and show more grime marks.2 comments

From Hero to Zero in 16 days
Well what can i say?? This fridge looks beautiful it is exactly what my newly renovated kitchen needed to make it POP!! But the other day i was sorting my freezer compartment out when a frozen 2 litre bottle of milk slipped its standing position in the left lower freezer drawer and fell sideways. All i heard was a crack and the bottom of the drawer now has a ghastly crack in it. I was devastated to say the least i have been bragging about this fridge to everyone that has been to see my new kitchen. Now i'm too embarrassed to tell then that its...Read more
actually quite flimsy. Haven't told hubby yet either as he said the old fridge was still okay and why did we need a new one. We had the old one for 15 years and plastic drawers still undamaged and this one only just over 2 weeks old!! They say you get what you pay for and i expected better than this! Now for a positive feedback "i still love my fridge" it is a joy to look at, just be very careful of plastic drawers in the mean time i will keep bottom drawer full so no one can see crack.1 comment

Excellent Fridge
We have had this fridge now for almost 12 months and so far it is living up to our expectations.
When we went out to purchase a new fridge, we had very specific requirements that needed to be met. We were replacing two smaller fridges and the space that the new fridge needed to fit into was very restrictive.
We also needed a large freezer as our then current fridges had a large net capacity of freezer space (about 160L) and we were using most of it.
There were several fridges that we compared when choosing this fridge. The main attributes ov...Read more

Beautiful but need more shelf height
I love the look of this fridge which is what drew me to it in the first place. Looks like a professional kitchen fridge with 4 stainless steel doors and of course the freezer draw system is amazing! Love a nice organised freezer. It is super quiet too and the temperature control is spot on but I have a couple of gripes which may or may not bother people. Firstly my major peeve is the fridge shelf system. No adjustability on either the shelves or door shelving and it's a bit narrow height wise for some things. Transferring from my side by side t...Read more
o this I noticed not as much space for the tall items like bottles, sauces or tall containers which I seemed to have a lot of living in my door and in my shelves which no longer fit. Yes you could take a shelf out but then you'd lose a lot of shelf space too. While I love the whole open up and see what you have without bending idea of the French fridge, I often have to squeeze things or change containers to fit in between the shelves because they're quite narrow and it can't be changed. Another annoyance was the dairy compartment at the top right which while having the brackets there for a lid system doesn't come with one up there (as advised by sharp themselves). So why the brackets? Another compartment would have been nice. There is also no lights in the freezer.. Again this is for me who likes digging around for a nice treat in the middle of the night but may not bother some people. Also for people with little kids like myself, they used to be able to reach for their own things in my side by side whereas I have to get it for them each time now as they can't reach high enough to the shelves (again this can sometimes be a blessing). Oh and lastly if you move lots, this thing is a beast! It is very heavy and awkward to maneuver, just something to think about. Look I understand not all French fridges are the same but I will probably go back to a side by side in a few years as it did suit me and my family better.1 comment

I am so in love with this fridge
We just finished renovating about two months ago. The house is gorgeous but the thing that still really tickles me is the new fridge! We had a westinghouse for 15 years, which never gave us a day of trouble but was looking very old and tired and was way too small... couldn't justify getting rid of it when it just went and went and went, was just wishing so hard that it would die but it wouldn't... anyway happily the builders managed to accidentally cut the fridge cord AND then drop the fridge when moving it out onto the new deck (don't ask) so ...Read more
we were able to go for this baby. Oooh how I love this fridge. But mostly I really really love the freezer. So Much Space!! And the compartments! I love having one for red meat, one for white meat, one for frozen leftovers, one for packets and that special compartment for cocktail hour that holds soooo much ice! Anyway so yeah, we have had this for two months and it is fab. No noise. No issues apart from a small ice layer on things that sit in the bottom RHS crisper (may be a temp setting issues, haven't bothered to check it out yet). Also much more energy efficient than the old one even though much bigger, because things are built better than they were 15 years ago in that respect. I read the reviews and the freezer was what really made me want this particular model (ok I wanted the black one but that didn't fit our budget haha). Found this through an online store for $1700, with an extra $120 for extra 3 year warranty. So we took the price to the Good Guys and haggled them for a price match (as we wanted their concierge warranty, which is better as they'll replace food up to $250 if your fridge breaks down. I was nervous bc it has been so long since we had a new fridge and so many reviews talk about breakdowns with new fridges!). Good Guys originally had a price of $1860 + $50 delivery + $220 for five years total concierge, i.e. $2130 all up - we talked them down to $1900 total (and paid credit, not cash!).1 comment

Amazing!!!
Our previous refrigerator was a Maytag 655L side by side. It lasted 12 years and was last of the American ones before Haier bought them out. I thought it was a fantastic refrigerator until we bought the Sharp. This one is so much better with the french doors I can put really wide items in unlike the side by side. The refrigerator area is actually smaller than the Maytag but I can get so much more in. The freezer is set up perfectly for us and has loads of space. It also has two inbuilt ice-trays and storage trays and as we don't use ice the sto...Read more
rage bins are a perfect size to put ice-creams. Due to height restrictions in our kitchen this unit fits perfectly and I definitely don't miss the extra litres in the refrigerator area. We have had the Sharp for 4 weeks and don't regret this purchase. It runs so quietly I was worried it wasn't working but it was. It is also very easy to keep the stainless steel doors clean, just wipe over with a microfibre cloth in the direction of the grain. I bought this refrigerator online an hour after our Maytag broke down. I didn't see it until it arrived 2 days after I ordered it and I wasn't disappointed, it is a beautiful refrigerator inside and out. I recommend this refrigerator. I love it.3 comments

Sharp SJF624STSL / SJF676STSL hasn't dissapointed me to date
I have had it for 7months now and still very very impressed, will still recommend this over all other brands from experience. It still cools both on the fridge and freezer sections, no leakage, more than quite and one thing I have realized this fridge has never had to be cleaned of the finger prints and moving was quite easy, it's not as bulky as others in the market yet still has a very large storage with to the drawers in the freezer and general design. Loving it and hope it sticks so forever.

Visitors have fridge envy when they see this in our kitchen
After careful consideration of fridge configurations, dimension checking, not to mention price shopping, we purchased the Sharp 4-door fridge freezer in time for Christmas. Three months on, we are very happy with our decision. The french door fridge section is nice and roomy with more space available for entertaining platters, etc. The freezer section with its 2 doors and pull out drawers is excellent for keeping things organised and easy to find. The only thing I find wanting is a quick chill area and I wish the vegetable crisper was larger. I...Read more

Love it!
We didn't have a great deal of choice because of height restrictions, but chose this one because we liked the french door option. We had a 2 door side by side fridge/freezer before it broke and I hated the lay out from the day it came home, it looked good in the shop, but after using it I found thd fridge was way too narrow and it didn't seem to hold very much. We have no complaints with our new fridge, if one of the shelves could have been a bit taller it'd be perfect. But we're totally happy with it, it looks great, it holds more than our last one and the noise that some people have spoken about, what noise? ours is whisper quite, we've had it nearly 4 weeks and its running beautifully.

Constant Annoying High Pitch Motor Noise

After a lot of research this was definitely the right choice!
Looked around for a new fridge for a few months. Signed up to Choice and looked at their reviews (which interestingly didn't include this fridge) and we decided on the Sharp for a few reasons:
1. it was french doors
2. it fit our space to a tee
3. the freezer wasn't a horrible one draw fits all design
4. energy consumption seemed pretty good by comparison
5. was a very reasonable price at the good guys in Castle Hill
We've had it for about a week now and we couldn't be happier. It's very quiet (I don't know what high pitched sound people refer to in previous posts), looks distinctive because of the four doors and has great layout in both the fridge and the freezer. Definitely recommend this guy - he'll be with us a while I can tell!

Good fridge, but Noisy electric motor sound
This fridge looks great and is not following the trend for taller and taller fridges, so it fits in the space in our existing kitchen. It has nice wide shelves - the reason for our purchase, and the freezer space is excellent.
But it has a high pitched electric motor whine, which is on just about ALL DAY. It seems to have no real correlation to doors open, or night or day, so it must be the fan, rather than the compressor.
Whatever it is, it's extremely annoying!
It also seems to come without a lid for the dairy compartment, despite the lugs being present for such a cover. Odd.

Great fridge...so stylish....but....
We have just received our French door fridge yesterday, I let it sit for 2hrs because that's what they advised to do and when we switched it on it has a high pitched buzzing sound which is very annoying to hear when your in the kitchen. So disappointed because we love this fridge, fits everything and chills water quickly which is great. All in all we are getting a replacement just a day after receiving a brand new one.

Hey
I have bought a Sharp SJF624STS 10 years ago and it's an excellent fridge. The problem is thet the control panel in the middle has fallen off and I need the technical diegram to connect the wires.

Stavroscasked
We bought the SJF624ST model in January 2015 and it has worked fine if one ignores the occasional loud noise (almost like a small gunshot) that occurs once or twice a day and some occasional motor noise. However, today the ice maker and the top part of the left hand freezer are not freezing - they are cold but not freezing.
I checked the manual but there is no reference to this issue.
Can you please advise me what is the problem and what needs to be done to repair it
