Three weeks in, very happy.
I spent a lot of time researching and window shopping before purchasing a new fridge to replace my fridge/chest freezer combo. My first choice and dream fridge would not fit our space so I ended up picking between a F&P french door and this Sharp. This won out due to its freezer configuration; see through drawers not a pull out mini chest freezer. It has been chugging along for three weeks and so far I am very pleased. The fridge space fits much more than it looks to and chills quickly. It is considerably quieter than my last F&P. I like the "c...Read more
ommercial" appearance and the SS finish doesn't show fingerprints. Best of all is the freezer, no more digging for items! The clear drawers allow you to see exactly what you have and slide out for easy access. I think this was a great product for the price. If I had one gripe it would be that the temp adjust buttons feel a little cheap and flimsy, but they work perfectly well so this is a bit nit picky. Freezer configuration, price, no fingerprints. Cheap feeling temp adjust buttons.3 comments
I have to ask . . seeing as you did lots of research - what was your first choice?
An LG french door in black glass. I can't remember the model, it had crystals inside the handle acrylic. The interior was awesome. However it was a HUGE fridge and I would have had to get some cabinet... Read more

Great looking fridge
I had 3 criteria when buying a fridge. 1. Largest fridge possible to fit my space. 2. Had to have French doors. 3. Freezer had to have slide out drawers, not a 'baby tuckerbox'. This fitted the bill. I've only ever had a large fridge only for 32 yrs, with a separate, standalone freezer. This was a little had to get used to as the fridge section is smaller than I have ever had, but everything is from waist height up, so no bending over to look for things.
It's very stylish and easy to keep clean. I love the warning beep when the fridge is lef...Read more
t open. My son is notorious for just pushing the door and walking away, but the beep after a minute brings him back! Plenty of room in the freezer section and I love the double ice trays. I DO have 1 issue with it though. The freezer has condensation on the inside of the doors and water pooling on the base plate. A technician came out within a few days, played with the doors and advised to call if I had anymore problems. It started again. Same tech came out and we also found a crack in the side where the drawer sits. Obviously can't be fixed so I'll be getting a replacement unit shortly. Can't ask for more. Very stylish

I'm seriously disappointed with the LACK of service regarding this issue. 5 phone calls and a case mgr who is ALWAYS unavailable has made this process a nightmare.

Hey
I have bought a Sharp SJF624STS 10 years ago and it's an excellent fridge. The problem is thet the control panel in the middle has fallen off and I need the technical diegram to connect the wires.

We bought the SJF624ST model in January 2015 and it has worked fine if one ignores the occasional loud noise (almost like a small gunshot) that occurs once or twice a day and some occasional motor noise. However, today the ice maker and the top part of the left hand freezer are not freezing - they are cold but not freezing.
I checked the manual but there is no reference to this issue.
Can you please advise me what is the problem and what needs to be done to repair it

I approached Sharp directly and they have been very generous in solving our problem with the fridge.
