Can not fault it

published

Love the French doors, super deep shelving in doors and the freezer has wonderful draws and ice tray. No noise at all and super easy to clean just a wipe all removal shelving so just a soapy wash. Temp is alway perfect although sometimes veggies do frost over in the draw.

Fridge doesn't cool enough

published

Subsequent to purchasing our fridge/freezer Aug 16, we had milk go off. We found that when temperature control was set to 0 deg for fridge, best it could cool to was about 5 deg. Eventually, Sharp replaced fridge last week but new one is the same. Australian standards suggest fridge temperature should be 3 deg or lower.
Such a shame as, apart from this problem, we like the fridge/freezer.
A bit disappointed that we were told by Sharp that they had not had temperature issues with other of their fridges, but this thread would appear to show otherwise.

Still love this fridge after 5 years

published

This was the biggest fridge I was able to find in the market at the time to fit in my kitchen space, thanks to the overhead cabinet, many other options wouldn't work. Saying that I think this is a great fridge, haven't have any issue after all these years, the temperature control is quite accurate, the temperature are even through out. My only dissatisfaction is the shelves aren't very flexible to cater for different requirements.

Good Value

published

We upgraded to this one last year. It has good space and is very easy to clean. The temperature control is even and effective. We have never had any uneven cooling issues. The only problem we have is with no lights in the freezer section, which is quite big and deep too.

cooling is not satisfactory.

published

The fridge compartment is struggling to achieve required cooling, even after adjusting the temperature on the door panel, after two days of purchase. We wonder if there are any adjustments other then the door panel which can correct this problem. Food is starting to go bad, this morning the milk was sour!

Lovely fridge, a pity about the stainless

published

Love the drawer storage in freezer, easy to store and find items. Good door and crisper storage in fridge but shelf arrangement poor- have to lie stubbies down or use door bins as would mean losing a shelf to have standing room. Ice cube maker good, no lid on dairy compartment although appears to be designed for a lid. Worst feature is the sheathing seems to be Alfoil, not stainless and dents magically appear even though only two careful pensioners in house. First dent appeared- my fault (?) putting knee out to stop falling jar- new freezer door $224.33 plus fitting $163.Since then we have been very careful but still two dents have "appeared".

Fantastic fridge freezer

published

Love this fridge it is so compact yet I seem to be able to fit more in. The freezer is fantastic so easy to see everything in the seperate drawers and I can stack heaps more in without things falling off the shelves. It maintains temperature much better than our old fridge, very easy to clean and is whisper quiet. The four doors make it easy to open just the space you want without wasting uneccesary energy. Haven't had it long but really love it so far!

When working, excellent product

published

The fridge itself was a wonderful purchase, when it worked for the first 6 months after we purchased it.
We tried to talk with Sharp about the fact that it just stopped working, and they tried to blame it on a black out, then being stored in our house incorrectly.
Would not recommend to anyone

Great fridge glad I bought it

published

Great looking fridge doesn't show any finger marks. The inside is spacious and a huge crisper that actually fits in cauliflower and lettuce all compartments keep everything cold.
The freezer has easy pull out draws and a great ice cube maker overall a good fridge and compared to my old one this is very quiet.

Run!

Was unfixable after nine months, Sharp would not replace. Two weeks without a fridge and then we find that out. Now have to try and get a refund from Masters, research another fridge. It will not be a Sharp or Electrolux as they both come out of the same factory, although we did like the design. Of course, another company may honour their product unlike Sharp.

Lovely upgrade and keeps me organised

published

So far so good for this fridge - we've had it for 2 months now and i really like it.
Negative: if we didn't have a large sliding door, there is no way the delivery men would have got it in my house without removing it from the box. Even without the box, it is big.
Positives: the drawers in the freezer are good for sorting items (bread in one, frozen fruit in another). It's helping me feel like i'm organised.
The space is lovely, and the manual gives recommendations for what items should go where in the fridge for optimal freshness.
The ice trays have been used a lot by my family, so have been more useful than i thought.
We bought this on sale so feel like we got a bargain!

Great fridge!

published

We replaced a 328L Westinghouse fridge, simply because we needed more room, particularly freezer space.
So far this fridge has fulfilled all needs. Its well lit, very quiet with loads of room (we only have 2 people in the household, but I have lots of condiments that need to be stored). Great for entertaining. The freezer has provided more room than I anticipated. I was initially a bit dubious about the ice cube shelves initially, but they work a treat (the ice never gets stuck in the trays). I agonised over this fridge vs the Electrolux equivalent (which was about $1500 more expensive), which has the exactly the same design, but glad I went with the Sharp fridge (and saved the cash).

SJF624STSL

We bought the SJF624ST model in January 2015 and it has worked fine if one ignores the occasional loud noise (almost like a small gunshot) that occurs once or twice a day and some occasional motor noise. However, today the ice maker and the top part of the left hand freezer are not freezing - they are cold but not freezing.
I checked the manual but there is no reference to this issue.
Can you please advise me what is the problem and what needs to be done to repair it
