I purchased the spa in Sept 2020 and it arrived January. Within a month the lights stopped working and remain on continually. I have called dozens of times, have a warranty claim, job number, but nothing. Promises to follow up have been 100% false. Never heard from them, nothing ever provided. I am cranky at myself for dealing with them. All I can say is DON'T DO IT. Very, very quick to take your cash, and absolutely zero support after.

Paid $20k upfront to place order with a quoted 6-8 week delivery time. Took 18 months. After 6 months we asked for our money back but they refused.
Arrived damaged, dirty and things not working or missing. Our kids asked us if we'd bought a second hand swim spa (and waited 18months for it)!
They blocked me from commenting on their Facebook page when I shared facts of my experience. They blocked Messenger when I contacted asking for assistance. Their sales manager who sold us the swim spa said "Stop contacting me, it's not my problem" when con...

My brother and I bought a spa Oct 2021, total $6830. We had 2 and a half months of enjoying the relaxation and then a light fixture popped /broke off. The lighting frame inside the shell is no longer visible and also the drainage plug was jammed tight. Should be a simple fix one would think. Fast forward to 25 July 2022 and a minimum of 15 separate follow ups and we are still waiting. I've received an email today to advise that we must pay $400 travel for a technician to come out, and $100 per visit. So disappointing!! Communication is terr...

My swim spa arrived damaged on August 16th 2020. Upon inspection it had a massive broken panel on the front under the wrapping, and the broken piece was not there so it had been wrapped broken. I have been following up with them every since and they simply do no respond to emails. Many broken promises or just silence. Check out Spas Direct Complaints Page on Facebook prior to purchase

I advised the fault, Spas Direct NZ say it has no warranty. NZ consumer law says otherwise. They refuse to act and out right the faulty product.

If I could give a minus star review I would. Our spa was delivered in January, damaged and still waiting to get it fixed. This company has a customer support team, what a joke they do nothing can’t even return a phone call. They have had our money since October last year. All nice as pie to you to secure a sale, after that no service what so ever.
Should have read all the negative reviews before purchasing.

Purchased spa less than 3 years ago, no spa for months while waiting for faulty operation panel to be fixed. Then waited months for faulty thermostat to be replaced. Now, the pump has gone and after weeks of trying they have not responded. Tried to warn people on facebook and they blocked me.

I bought a swim spa and from day one was leaking, submitted a warranty claim and called them 15-20 times with no response
Unfortunately the after sale support is the worst and also they have no techs for any warranty claims
Been chasing a warranty for 5x weeks with no response
So 2 months already gone on a new spa never used

5 Stars for Price, 3 for Quality and 0 for Aftersales Service
Priced from $5000 to $18000, choosing a 5 adult spa is not easy. In addition to the purchase price, there’s the delivery cost, the cost to remove the packaging plus the money you’ll spend on chemicals to keep the water sparkling clean. To make the right decision you must consider the price Vs quality and aftersales service. But the fact that every retailer sells their own brands and lists the specifications differently with different warranties for the component parts makes it next to impossible to compare one against another.
Unless you can ...
Read moresee it first hand and they agree to dismantle one so you can inspect the wooden frame, the type of insulation, the thickness of the fiberglass and the quality of the pump system; the decision is based on trust and reputation. But can you trust what the retailer is saying, and will they be just as eager to fix a problem as they are to take your money and make a sale? Spas Direct claim to be one of Australia's largest spa retailer, and most likely they are. The Company is owned by a Queensland base entity called Sunseal Garden Spas Pty Ltd. They’ve been around since 2003 and previously traded under different names. Spas Direct is basically an online retailer that offers factory direct prices. Their website suggests they manufacture their own spas, but I suspect they simply buy from a Chinese manufacturer and apply their own names. The obvious give away is their generic instruction manuals with no model numbers or product names. A key selling feature of the Maui Deluxe Spa I purchased in December 2020 was the built in Bluetooth sound system. Problematic from day one, it stopped working all together in September 2021. Since then, I have called, emailed and text messaged countless number of times. I had already sent photographs twice but sent these again on 12th December when asked by their spa technician. Having had no response, I contacted them on 21st of December for a progress update. Then on 23rd December I received a package with no notification or accompanying letter. Inside the box was what appeared to be the components and wiring for a new sound system along with a printed booklet titled ‘Cetting Instructions’. Now, I have no idea how to change a tyre let alone wire and install a sound system in a spa. Plus, the title of the booklet was indicative of the contents, so I asked was I expected to install it myself?- Value for Money

Purchased swim spa 3 months ago, they were so quick to sell me the spa. But now jet 2 isn’t working and trips out spa when turned on. The wifi Bluetooth isn’t working, and blower pump is making loud noises.
Have called, emailed and msged at least 20 times to make a warranty claim. Finally got a call back yesterday for them to just tell me that I have to organise my own spa technician to fix the spa and to send them the invoice. What type of service is this?! It should be their job to follow up customers and to fix their products. I just want the spa gone and to get my money back...I’m not happy at all with their service!

Shocking Service. Faulty Goods delivered and no assistance to get it fixed or replaced. Paid in Full and have a useless product on my property. Warranty team have been very unhelpful. Had the Spa over 1 month and yet to use it. Very disappointed I would not recommend. I have asked for a refund and now I am being ignored.

Hi there can I please get emailed a manual fro the Maui spa. And all the online manuals does not have this one on it thank you
when filling new spa is the water filled through the what appears to be a "in" designated inlet next to a out designated outlet on side of spa and we received a filter wrapped in foam protection do we have to put filter in before filling and using spa
We just put the hose over the side to fill it and yes put the filter in once full or just before, and must have filter in before you start using it
