Disappointed. so close but yet so far
Bought today. $99. Didn't expect it to a great job. Was actually surprised. All fitted together easily, suction was very very good, the attachments good, except the small nozzle which is cheap and might well break after repeated use, but it does do an excellent job at getting into window crevices, was really pleased at its job on my hard floor and a light clean of the carpets... but then i sucked up a ball of dog hair, after 30 mins of trying to remove, i discovered that it impossible to get into the handle apart, but I did eventually ...Read more
manage to dislodge it. I continued using it being very careful, .Sadly i must have sucked up another ball, as the suction all but disappeared.. Im returning it. sad... because for $99 if I could have gotten into the handle and extender pole. It would have been perfect. - If you don't have animals or kids and r aren't overly messy then it'll do the job fine.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
After sales service terrlble
Was happy with vacuum. After sales service terrible. Emailed to find out about new filters, not in stock finally after 3 months can get one at $25, cannot say when the one in wheel will be available. Told me to try Godfreys, off course they don't have anything that will fit. So now will have to buy another vacuum, will not look at Aldi's again.

Suck it up
Some good deals were up for grab and i decided to purchase this vacuum cleaner from Aldi which came with additional mini vac which worked out cheaper. So the dealer decided to provide bonus item since the product was new in the market. The suction power is so strong till today. I dont think i need branded items, sometimes other market products works better.

Impressed, for a while!
Started out a great little vacuum, used on carpet and slate floors, easy to empty and clean, requires no bags, which is a big saving.
I recommended this cleaner to friends, well it's been twelve months and the vacuum seems to have had its day, still works but the suction is miserable.Cleaned it but to no avail, seems 12 months is all you get but for $99 what do you expect!

Not that Bad
The suction is poor. probably ok for hard floor, but not good for carpet. The length of the rod may not be long enough for adult. The material is of poor quality. But for this price, you can't expect too much. it may be used as spare and for temporary use.

It's not great...
Wasn't expecting much for the price of this vacuum and it didn't disappoint.
The suction doesn't last long, maybe a few uses before it renders itself pretty useless.
I own a dyson handheld which is brilliant on hard floors so the Aldi vacuum was purchased for carpeted bedrooms...the stick vac does a better job!
Wouldn't waste your money.

Good Vaccum Cleaner
It is light. But the rod isn't long enough though I am already short. Sucking is OK. I only used it for wooden floor. Not sure about carpet. My house is small. But do find the wire is much shorter than my previous one. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Awesome sucking power, when it works. :(
At the price point it was hard to beat as it comes with a 3 or 5 year warranty. The suction power is superb and really grabs a lot of stuff when combined with a Vax turbo brush. Sadly this suction power is short lived as the HEPA filter begins to clog up rapidly with fine dust particles. The only way to clean it is to... get another vacuum cleaner or wash it under a blasting tap. It makes the whole chore of vacuuming even more of a chore. I wouldn't recommend this vacuum cleaner.

Worst vacuum cleaner I have ever used!
This vacuum has poor suction and clogs frequently in barrel due to poor design. It might be cheap but it is just a waste of money and also time due to frequent unclogging. I am going out to buy something more powerful - don't care how much I have to pay!

Love the Cyclonic Vacuum
Paid about $100 for this vacuum and haven't looked back since. Easy to use, has a long cord. Has a great suction on it, very strong. Moves around on wheels no problem. It does need emptying every time you use it, but it's fantastic. Got my money's worth for sure!
September 19th 2017 Update: Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaner
I have had this vacuum cleaner for over a year now and still love it. I must admit, it doesn't glide over the floor when pulling it but it's been fine. The suck starts to get bad after a while of using and I have to do a full clean of it (including washing the sponge etc in the filter) and after that, it runs well again. I'm especially happy with the price I paid for it!

Can't kill it with a stick
Bought this as a dust extractor for spacking gyprock & sanding with random orbital - very fine dust that would kill most vacuum cleaners - but not this one - it's still going as strong as the day I bought it.
Use it also on a mitre saw but the sucking power was not quite strong enough.
I do clean it out doors with a needle gun.

Bargain priced vacuum that actually sucks, in a good way.
Waited for a month or two and saw a bargain Bagless worth a 2nd look. The Aldi store had a pallet of these Easy Home Bagless 2000w beauties. I read and looked and stood there undecided. I asked a store rep, about returns on this model. None that she knew of, and her two year old machine is still going well. Done, and purchased there and then. Unpacked and read all the picture manuals and warranty info, scanned them and listed dates/serial details for future reference. Every page even has the support phone number visible.
I found the Manual ...Read more
& Quick Start Guide very informative and opened the various filter and barrel components to learn, test and ensure I could reassemble it easily. No dramas there. All the attachments were included, and easily attached. I even tried my older 'special' attachments that I will never see new again, and they fit also. A quality chromed metal extending tube is easy to use, as is the duel operation floor brush(hard/soft floor). The crevice device & fold out brush works but appears cheap. I placed them all in plastic again, in the box and in the roof as I will use my old faves for now. The hose handle has a 'vacuum power' valve as do most machines and is worth approx 30 % more or less suction. The 5m (better or equal to avg in length) power cord extends easily, and the yellow safety stop tag is easy to see. The rewind is good to start with, but needed a little guidance for the last 0.5 meter. It is quite compact which is an absolute requirement for us, only taking the space of an average backpack. The power lever is adjustable via a rotating dial on the handle, which had me worried it was a dud until I found it and upped the wattage to full tote. Impressive difference. The operational noise is there, as expected, and at full 200W power with hose end blocked, it is loud but not unbearable.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

A lot of noise for very little action.
I was kindly given it (new in box) by it's previous original owner who bought a different vacuum cleaner and never actually used this one. I list the Date Purchased as the date that it was given to me - it was made in 2014.
The good points - I give it 2 stars:
1 for being cheap and bagless,
2. The second for it is still working (it is only 3 months old in use terms, factual but hardly amazing)
*It does suck up some dirt.
*It looks like a nice dyson-like vacuum cleaner
However the 3 missing stars are for:
1 for being Very Noisy. I'd forgive the noise somewhat if it actually managed suck up all the dirt. But it doesn't.

Piece of Junk!!!
I paid a lot of money for a piece of junk, it started to work intermittently after only 3 hours of use! I should have stuck to the top brands in vacuums, instead of risking in buying one from Aldi, I just sure hope they give me a refund, as I've lost my receipt.

Unlucky again
I thought I would give a cheaper vacuum cleaner a try after several more expensive ones,. but sadly I have been let down again. The wheel just snapped off from the front bottom of the cleaner so the cleaner is completely useless now, as I don't have my receipt I feel I cannot return it even though it looks brand-new as I have not had it long.
Very disappointed

So sad it died
I expected very little given the $100 price tag but this vaccum just kept charging. When suction dropped off it just required a good filter clean and was back to 100%. We even used it to clean a construction site for 8 months. I would love to find another onebut feara similar priced vaccum wont deliver the same way.

Worked for just over 12 months but worked well while it lasted
We got this vacuum cleaner September 2014 for $89.99, it is now 31 December 2015 (15mths later) and literally the vacuum stopped working as though it turned off. We used this vacuum approximately once every week to maybe once every 2 weeks and at 15months it died completely.
I will say whilst it lasted it worked without fault and worked well. I would say it was a very good vacuum cleaner with good suction. It wasn't loud, but not whisper quiet either, but its a vacuum cleaner so it is going to make noise. It was very easy to maneuver, stron...Read more
g retracting cord and worked well on carpet, rugs, floor runners and tiles. Honestly if it hadn't literally just died i would not have a complaint about it. The fact that it died well under the 3year warranty period was disappointing. But my experiences with Aldi are always good for returns and refunds, so stay tuned I will keep you all posted.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Great Buy.
Used the Stirling 2000w vacuum cleaner for the first time today in my caravan on carpet and Lino. Best buy I've had in a long time. Suction great. I couldn't believe the amount of sand it picked up. I have a Dyson at home and it is far easier to empty barrel in this one. Very happy with my buy.

not worth it.
I bought the $60 Stirling 2000w bagless vacuum cleaner, Orange and black colour. I thought I would give it a go because of the price. I opened it and it is very small, when I held it, it feels like cheap quality plastic. It picked up all the crumbsand things off the floor, but it was so weak, it just slid over the carpet, there was not really any suction at all. So I would guess it probably wouldn't have pulled up anything deeper in the carpet like sand and dirt ect. Even my mother came over one day and used it and said it was rubbish. I have...Read more
had it for 3 or 4 weeks now and today I am going to put it in the junk pile. I only ended up using it about 3 times over the month because I used my old one instead. Just not even worth keeping or giving away!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Happy with performance.
Not light. or easy to maneuvre. Quiet?? We wear sound-reducing muffs We paid less than $100 each for two of the Lumina Bagless, strawberry colour at Aldi's. Both did get the same amount of use. They had been in use for seven years when, surprisingly, they both broke at the front of the hose within four months of each other. Yes, difficult to get parts. However, you can get 'joining up pieces' (converter pieces) that allow you to use accessories from other vacuum cleaners. You will have to learn about inside and outside measurements of the tubes...Read more

How can we buy the replacement filters for this model { ALDI Stirling / Lumina / Easy Home Cyclonic 2000W (Dec 2013, Oct 2014, Nov 2015, Nov 2016, Nov 2017, Nov 2018) } ?

Take the filter to bunnings, they have filters for most vacs, or godfreys they sell filters most but not sure if these can be classified as vacuum cleaners as their inability to suck the cream off a coffee but make alot of noise.
Janine H.asked
Why is it so difficult to empty? I get covered in dust every time empty it. I have to undo all the parts of the barrel and wash the dust of every part each time I finish vacuuming. Its a big pain. It then takes all day to dry and the barrel filter take days to dry. Not happy Jan.
