I get excited to see the new plants available at Stratco Whyalla as they are the most affordable in town. However when you get there the plants are dying from lack of water and dumped hap-hazardly down. The plants are also visibly riddled with pests such as green caterpillars and aphids. Very little care or respect given to the garden centre.

Love my new bar setting, because it is timber I have treated it with oil as recommended and it looks fabulous. I’ll certainly be back, love your store at St. Marys. The service was great.........a big thank you to BeeJay, friendly and super efficient!

I recently bought a garden shed (H3) with window, skylight and guttering. Installation was great including cleanup. However, 50mm downpipes are not the best as storm.water connection options are very limited

Prepped with a shopping list for new roofing and gutters, was helped thru the process of choosing and measuring flashings etc by helpful staff. Delivery driver couldn't use the crane to unload from the truck because of a tree, but was more than happy to unload by hand.

We are currently in the process of purchasing a shed from stratco. Service is amazing friendly staff. More than happy to purchase from this store. Make sure you ask for a discount for paying cash. It can be quite a difference in price.

Visited the Gepps Cross store, intend to purchase a small garden shed for our back yard, dealt with staff member named Angelo who was excellent, advised us to have the shed delivered and installed.

Tried to buy Boncrete from one of our local hardware stores but they were asking $74 for a 2 litre. Looked online and found it at the Gepps Cross Stratco for $29...Was cheaper to drive the 250km to buy it in Adelaide than local. Made sure I also grabbed a few other things while I was there too.

Had a half wine barrel doing nothing. Decided would look good with some colour in this dull covid19 period. Told the assistant what i wanted to do. He gave me advice on how much soil i would need and then all i had to do was choose the plants! Happy to say moved the barrel to a better position, filled it with the quality soil mix and planted. For aesthetics got some pine bark mulch. Plants went into shock but after a couple of days, are blooming happily. I also asked about what plants to plant for another spare garden patch. Was happily advised! No problems at all. Went home very happy and now more advised. A shout out to the Stratco assistant!

Indoor and outdoor plants are excellent,
Vegie seedlings have worth to buy .
Heaps of variety in the store to buy.
Seed section needs to be improve in store by the way.

I went in on a busy day (there was a huge sale), and this did not impact on service, staff were still just as helpful and friendly!
I was also served extremely quickly!

Thanks to staff and Stratco for opening throughout the pandemic virus lockdown. Allowed me to buy all the bits needed to finishh all those garden projects while in self isolation.

Purchased a handy mate shed for a backyard project. The store was super busy, but the staff were calm and efficiently dealing with the crowd of people! The shed was not in stock, so the sales person went above and beyond to locate or order one in for us. They did say they’d call us when it came in for us, however, they did not call us and we had to follow up a few days later. When we made the purchase, (around $600 worth), the person at the register didn’t mention your rewards/loyalty program which meant we missed out on points for that purchase! This was later rectified when I reached out via messenger. The shed was quite difficult to assemble, but my husband managed to work it out. Excellent quality shed for a reasonable price.
