Makita 18v caulking gun issue they told 8 weeks to 12 before look at item. Warranty worth nothing. What do I use in the meantime for work. Very dissatisfying do I have to purchase another gun?????
I Bought a Mikita Tile cutter, when I try to use it, it’s a Lemon .
I took it back, the manager told me that it will take 8 Weeks to be repaired.
But it’s a new Mikita tool, why do I have to go through this ; I said .
He replied : it’s a company policy.
Sydney tools ( Company ), I will never ever buy anything from you again, live and learn .

Workers are rude and disrespectful, they were all on their mobile phones, when asked for assistance they brushed my question off. I bought a drills that broke within the week when asked for a refund I was told that they don’t offer refunds. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Total tools has always been here, but thought I'd try out the new Sydney tools store. Unfortunately my experience has been bad.
For a warranty claim, instead of just replacing the faulty product, I was told they had to send it to Sydney to get it looked at, and would take 3-4 weeks, and they would call me when it was ready to pick up. He also stated he could see it was broken, and he knew it was a pain in the butt, but it was just procedure. Fine, I just went with it.
After 4 weeks I call them back as they havent gotten back to me. Apparently,...

Bought products within one weeks, it fault in first used. Take back ask replacement or refund ( poor quality).
But only offer repair, manager are very rudely. I should read company review before I go.

First time I took it back after 2 hours of use fouled a plug, After returned to me, the pump actually spat a nut and water came pouring out on use. Video to show. I am going through a waiting period of around 3 months without one phone call from Senior position or email on what is going on. Customer service cannot get through tried and tried. It took 45 days, two visits to the shop I bought it from (time is money) and numerous calls to get my money back.
I will never buy from Sydney tools again and will tell anyone who asks of Sydney Tools about my experience.
Why is it that other retailers just refund with the swipe of a card and Sydney Tools 'can't'.

Required a refund but they will not honour a refund. Have been dealing with this now for weeks and not happy with outcome. Bought a Gensafe 3500 used only a number of times over the period of 12 Months, power stopped being delivered to outlets and ran rough. Returned for warranty repair and was advised it had too much oil inside, and wouldn't turn over and said it was my fault (oil was never touched from new) and it wasn't worth fixing and returned it me in pieces. When it was taken apart I took to another local tool shop and they diagnosed as an internal collapsed bearing. Had it fixed there instead.

After reading some reviews here I now know they are a bunch of crooks. I bought a tool and had to go back 3 times. Firstly they sold me a dinasour jigsaw and even they themselves surprised an obselete product are still in store. When I took it back for a refund they said they have no cash. Offer to pay me back to my account. Money never came back. 3 weeks already

Very poor customer service refused to give refund or exchange on my faulty fan even though agreed it was faulty
We purchaed a industrial pedestal fan to keep us cool over summer. The fan failed causing a large flash electrical short. On return to the store for replacement or refund was told by the manager we never give refunds. The guy was rude. While Sydney tools may be the cheapest, their customer support is the worst hands down.
We have recently purchased a concrete saw witch not only zapped me but continually failed to start.
Although taking over two months to look at it, they now tell me that its warranty is void because it has concrete slurry and water on it. Really! this is a concrete saw? !!! with a water point

I have been buying from Sydney tools for years and have always been great to deal with but my last transaction to get a refund is horrible and ongoing.
I needed to get a refund due to not needing a product. When asking for the refund, I was told that I cannot get the refund back onto my credit card but it needs to go into a nominates bank account, so a minor setback but ok. Had an issue with a missing part on a new product I bought from Sydney Tools. After 15 months finally rang up as the angry rude customer - had run out of tolerance. Guy there called Andrew Buckley told me I had every right to be pi**ed and set about sorting the issue for me. Within forty eight hours had the part delivered to my door! Andrew Buckley I will be back to buy from you in the future. Fixed a problem caused by someone else and never flinched from the job!
No staff knows when the refund will be processed. Not even idea 1/2 week time. The staff member replied- only the Direct process the refunds and he does not have all day to do this.

I wished I had done some research and read this post earlier before buying from Sydney tools!
I've bought a power tool online and had to swap for another model. It's now been two weeks and counting since I posted it back, and no email or phone calls to say whether they have done anything with it (I have a auspost delivery slip so I know they have got it).
I'm worried that it will turn out similar to all the other poor customers here. Maybe the store is good, but definitely don't order online from them.

So many lies, orders never received, money taken, faulty items and no returns policy. Company should be shut down. It's only a matter of time. Don't risk it. The discounted prices aren't worth it
Its now 13 days since I should have received a refund and well its not here yet overtime keep telling me it going to be done and processed but it never happens. Worst after service ever. Would not ever give them 1 star will not go back.
Purchased a petrol pressure washer fitted with Honda engine & bertoloni pump and warranted only through Sydney tools not Australian distributors meaning they don’t know how to repair them, go to Aussie pumps and purchase your machine as they are the Australian distributor for Bertolini pumps and the Honda engines they fit are also covered by Honda Australia unless you like dealing with fair trading

The guys at this store are fantastic - I bought a cheap mig welder at Sydney Tools Online, got it (free freight), then realised it probably wasn't the greatest - Leo at Epping explained what it would & would not do, then explained what would suit me better which was a UniMig. Even though I was dumb enough to order this other thing online he had no worries in taking it back with a full credit towards the UniMig.
Leo was more interested in me having the best tool than worrying about a return. And the guys helped me out on some consumables.
