I selected two items from T. K. Maxx fur purchase today. Luckily I checked the price before I got to the cashier. The first item scanned up as the retail price, not the T. K. Maxx price. When I questioned this, the cashier was completely unapologetic and said she'd ring up the T. K. Maxx price as if she was doing me a big favour. The second item also scanned at the higher price which she then manually adjusted. When I checked the docket afterwards the discount reason was marked up as 'goodwill'. Buyer beware, always check you are being charged what is on the price tag, particularly if you're buying multiple items.

I have been visiting these shops in the last one year and bought a lot of quality products with a very reasonable prices.

I like to come here and get Brand named kids clothes for much cheaper. Why buy a $10 to $15 Target shirt when I can get my child a brand named one for the same price. It would be good if they had more of a range for kids/boys though.

A fantastic shop l cannot live without!! However... The womens clothing is horrendously over packed and some items seem to never sell. I swear some stock has been there for 6 months + lf they could remove the terrible footwear section and rearrange and display the womenswear better it would be perfect!

Products were displayed well and easy to access. Great selection of items across all lines. Staff were really helpful and extremely friendly. I was served by a young lady at check out and she has a lovely easy manner. Will be back.

September 5th 2018 Update: Lethal shopping destination - lots of great goodies to buy!!

That place is lethal - so many nice products to buy. I bought some great bath & hand towels on clearance today, along with some really nice dry body oils, smelly candles and china mugs. Every time I visit this store I come away with a bags of great goodies. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

I’m not happy about how they spoke to me I’m about to have twins and I needed my refund in cash I presented them with ID and the card used to pay but still there refusing me but being so Rude to me. Telling me they don’t need me as a customer and excuse me darl. Grrrrrr I will not shop here ever again even tho I like the store. How dare u treat me like that

Love TK Maxx but customer service can be average at times especially by one particular staff. She rarely says hello and if you have any return she will give you the look. Serg is amazing on the other hand. It can be a little hard shopping here but their return policy is really good. Love TK maxx

Terrible customer service. Only in Maroochydore tkmaxx always prices are higher than in the other tkmaxx, if in other tkmaxx products are selling in set in Maroochydore the same product set are selling separated. Staff not helping and really not friendly.

Returning the item the following day after being purchased. Staff said could not be returned because it was used already! You plugged it so you have used it they said!! How would i know if i don't connect the plug? How can you use a dryer too loud it seems to break your ear??? Next time advice us consumers to test it in store before we buy it. Please review your return policy, only jewelries and lingeries are the precise ones in there. First time i have ever experienced this in a shop!

I went to the store to see what the big hype was about and I was disappointed. Upon entering, the shop was a mess with a lot of things on the floor made by other customers. From the media exposure boasting big name brands at low prices, I did not see what it claimed. The items either looked old or poor quality and probably are items that were unable to sell from previous seasons.

Terrible customer service. Not knowing they own return policy and where its located! How i should know if they dont ... They would ask million question but could not tell you before leaving with your purchase that they would not exchange it! I would not shop there again!

Brands unknown and poor quality. Trade Secret was much better. The brands now are not reputable and international brands. The stores are 40% HOMEWARES! There are NO children’s clothes any longer especially boys clothes. It’s pathetic. I used to shop at Trade Secret all the time (15years enjoying great prices and good brands, quality goods)I have been to Maxx a few times over the last 12 months in the hope that it would improve and walked out with nothing. The discounts aren’t great not that I would buy the crap anyway. Not a good shop layout. You should shut down and don’t bother about the business anymore. We are getting the US left over dregs! You think we are stupid!!!!Come back Trade Secret!

Great prices,got quicksilver,billabong,rusty board shorts for $20 a piece worth $80 so stoked great shop,hats for $12 proper brands and also great for the wife who got handbags and named items

Visited Top Ryde store & was very disappointed at the clothing range - some of the prices were unbelievable ($200) for a pair of mens trousers and a lot of the clothing was poor quality - Only nice things in the store were some towels /frypans and soaps & toiletries - had to walk right to the other side of the store to pay instead of the cash registers being near the door - won't be going again - so much for all the months of hype about this store opening

Went in thinking the Australian store is like the us and U.K. Tj maxx but was i wrong it felt like I was shopping in lifeline was soo hyped as I thought they had a lot of makeup like what people were saying but no most of the products were either open or damaged upside though the kids clothes were good but could just go to Kmart

I went to the TK Maxx store in Morayfield and the store manager was impolite and could not be bothered to provide information regarding their return policy. Staff is young and poorly trained. I'll be taking my hard earned money to other shops, this one is underwhelming.

TK Maxx has decimated the great range of clothing - men's especially - which made the Trade Secret chain the Go To place. Will this be another Masters debacle, from owners who don't 'get' what made a store successful? Went in with a list of men's and women's items and only damaged socks! Usually, we go to buy socks and spend hundreds of dollars...

That was an experience I never ever want to go through again!! My first txx max visit and the staff in the Castle Hill store, have no idea, I asked for the price of 4 items and they would either say I wouldn't have a clue or they expected me to wait at the register for 15 minutes to just price something??? You guys have to be kidding, I can see why you had to change the brand name, because you failed big time as "TRADE SECRET" and now you continue to fail at what made you a flop in the first place. Pick up your game TK MAXX, or make room for businesses who know what they're doing.

I went to the new T.K Maxx store. This retailer has received so much hype in the media but I found the whole store quite underwhelming and no threat to Australian retailers! Not a lot of items to choose from in different categories, such as shoes, homewares, beauty etc. You can find a lot more variety in shops like Kmart, Bed, Table & Bath, and other speciality retailers. Prices aren't more competitive than sales at other shops either. No, not interested to go there again!
