Duraflex Group
I purchased a Thomas Sabo watch for my sisters Christmas last year back in June when she opened on Christmas the watch didn’t work. I rang Duraflex to advise that it didn’t work and that she would like to swap for another one they told me to take into a local jeweller in Belmont Citi Center which she did and he was very rude to her as he asked why it was bought on line and not through them. She told him inbwas a Christmas gift and she didn’t know she also mentioned it was a bit big anyway and she’d need couple links taken out but her being a j...Read more
eweller herself could have done this anyway he took the links out even although she didn’t ask him to and charged her for it said he couldn’t swap and to contact where it was purchased. I rang Duraflex again advising of this they said it can’t be returned to them now as the links are out and it was purchased that long ago even although it’s still within the 12 months. Don’t know why they didn’t offer an exchange at time when I rang up to tell them the watch wasn’t working....My sisters now left with a watch she won’t wear and I’m $350 out of pocket... . I’ll never purchase from DURAFLEX again.

Thomas Sabo, Poor quality & not worth the high price!!!!!!!
My sister purchased a $119 Charm Bracelet for my birthday. After having it for about 14 months the Thomas Sabo circle charm fell off. They WOULD NOT cover it under Australian Consumer Law 2011 which exceeds warranty periods under "acceptable quality" and "fit for purpose". Consumer expectation is that under normal wear and tear it SHOULD last longer than a year. Obviously it is POOR quality jewellery and NOT worth the money you pay for it. I had to pay to get it replaced!!!! NOT happy!!

After Years of being a customer never again.
After being a customer for a longtime. And the money spent I can say I had the worst experience at chadstone. After waiting for over 5 minutes to be served and mind you she wasn't busy with customers just the computer that she was on. I couldn't understand why it was so hard for her to say she would be with me in a minute. After all isn't that customer service. I had also called the store earlier today and asked for a item to put on hold. When I got to the store the store assistant couldn't find it. It wasn't put on hold at all. When I asked wh...Read more
y I was told that they couldn't find it. when I called. Funny that as it was in the cabinet. I was then told by the manager that they don't do holds anyway. So she was doing me a favor which wasn't even done anyway. When I asked the lady that I had to wait for over five minutes for her to serve me what her name she told me that she didn't have to give it to me. None of the staff had name badges so very hard to write a complaint. Im just wondering is it because of the bad customer service that they give that they dont want to wear them. To avoid customer complaints. So after waiting for over five minutes to be ignored. The item that I wanted was never put away in the first place. And then same staff member telling me that she had so much to do that's why it took her so long to serve me. Is that more important then customer service. By the end I also had a tall young lady tell me not to look at her like that and to not complain or say anymore to her manager. She told me I was a bully and personally attacked me and that I mustn't be very happy. Never again shame on your staff. Thomas Sabo no service and staff attacking me. Nice experience over 12 items bought. Never Again!!!!! Animals get treated better.

Price Integrity
It was a sale item but they do not have stock so I ordered from another store. But when your order from another store just came and they told you that the price was wrong after you were about to pay up. What a waste of time waiting and going back to the store. Where is the price integrity? Such a disappointment system. Wont be my favourite store anymore.

Beautiful black beaded bracelet with the cross charm
I love the bracelet!! I was given a black beaded bracelet with a silver diamond cross for my 21st birthday and 3 years later, I still wear it! I love it. It's super strong & now hangs in my car.
I do agree that some of the charms for the charm bracelets do break easily, I had purchased an additional horseshoe charm and it broke. The cross charm and black beaded bracelet are a strong combo though!

Earrings that snapped just a few days after buying.
Hi, unfortunately I bought a pair of earrings for my sister as a Christmas gift and they snapped around a week ago. I have called your office a number of times and nobody ever answers the phone.

Poor
Purchased bracelet and necklace. Longtime partner and I had a break up. Went to return items within 14 days and was told no.
Was told "BAD LUCK - no refunds or exchanges on change of mind"
It's not like going through a break up isn't hard enough. Had spend a lot of money at the same stall in a 12 month period. Won't shop there again.

Worst Experience
My Thomas Sabo ring was purchased through Carati Jewellers at Rouse Hill in February for my 21st birthday for over $400. Within 2 months the band on the ring began to discolour slightly. At the start of July I returned my ring to the same store who said they could repair the ring under warranty and advised me it would take 3-4 weeks. We are now going into October (three months later) and still no sign of my ring. I have had to call the store on multiple occasions after not hearing back from any of the staff with updates. Every time I call the s...Read more
tore I am told the same excuse again that the ring has just been shipped back from Germany and will be another 2 weeks. If the customer service was even half decent than this process may have been less painful.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Crap quality and pathetic after sales service!
My husband purchased a Thomas Sabo charm for my first Mother's Day, it has now been just over 1 year and the charm has already been returned twice to their third party agent and is now faulty again with the coating peeling away. Any other company would just replace their crap quality product but not this company they want me to return it again for them to repair again! I'm not happy to do this and will seek advise from fair trading if they do not replace their product! I will never purchase their products again and will make sure everyone I know is aware how rubbish they really are!!!

It's well over two months and no knowledge of when we will get it back
They said 3 weeks
I've been in twice and phoned twice
Looked up these reviews and noticed similar problems

Poor Quality Control
I purchased a black onyx bracelet.
I didn't bother to inspect the piece before I left the store assuming the quality would be perfect. However, after I reached home & inspected the bracelet, I was disappointed. The bracelet had multiple chips to multiple stones.
I returned to the store immediately & asked for an exchange or refund. All the bracelets the sales associates pulled out had defects on ALL of them. Luckily I was able to get a refund without a dispute, but I won't be purchasing from Thomas Sabo ever.

Love my Thomas Sabo however it is not perfect.
I own many pieces of Thomas Sabo Jewelry from the watch, necklace to a charm bracelet with many charms.
The white "It girl" watch has been my fave product it never leaves my wrist. The necklace went a bit dull but I have had it cleaned. My only concerns were with the charm bracelet, some charms are delicate and can get caught easily, the parrot clasps themselves have been replaced a few times. Overall Thomas Sabo jewelry is beautiful and it is the best way to have your own customized jewelry. The packaging it comes in is very beautiful as well.

Jewellery itself is beautiful
Unfortunately if it breaks or a stone falls out you are in for a long ride, my ring had a stone fall out after only having it for 2 weeks, I was told it has to be sent to Germany to be fixed, it has been 10 weeks now and no ring, they don't even have a tracking number. How can you send away a piece of Jewellery worth over $300 and not have a tracking number. They cant tell me where it is, or if it even made it to Germany, this repair process is antiquated and needs to be looked into.
Hopefully I will get my ring back as I had wanted it for a while.

Good
Excellent quality. Beautiful and different to others. Not as expensive as Pandora, but just as good quality. I love this product. Is still a little expensive.
I have two beautiful bracelets from Thomas Sabo. One is a white pearl bracelet and I wear it nearly every day to work. It looks as good as the day I first was given it. I also have a black onyx bracelet, it is fantastic too.

My pearl charms have coating coming off. This means they are not real pearls. Just glass balls with a pearlised coating. What can Thomas Sabo do to help me?
1 answer
VickyThomas Sabo
Hi Jo,
thanks for your question. Thomas Sabo sell a combination of both freshwater and synthetic pearl jewellery. The website or jeweller you purchased from should have information on if individual items are freshwater or synthetic pearls. We are not able to answer that without knowing which product you have. Either way, we'd be happy to help with your issue, but need more information to assess it. Please contact us at [email protected] with the product you have, where and when you purchased it from. We will need to ensure your products are genuine Thomas Sabo jewellery as well as assessing the issue.
Please let us know if I can be of further assistance.
Regards
The Thomas Sabo Team
