Can’t even answer their phone
Trying to get fleet car serviced - they cannot even answer their phone or return calls after message left. 3.30pm Wednesday afternoon and it took 9 minutes 50 seconds for the service counter to answer and the person couldn’t help me because she was from a different department. Don’t waste your time with these m uppets.

Worst Car Dealer in Southern Shire
Liars. Do not buy a new or used car from these people. They are rude, lie and are dismissive.
Do not waste your time!

Horrible customer service - don't bother.
I submitted an online query about a car advertised online at Wollongong Tyanan for $21k. We had been pre-approved for finance through a broker, all ready to go, just had to pick a vehicle. I offered $19k as a starting point, and thought that was reasonable. I didn't hear back, so followed up with a phone call the next day. The sales manager was rude, dismissive and implied I was wasting his time. I've never been spoken to so poorly, let alone from someone I was prepared to give money to. He insisted the car was on the lot for $23k so my offer o...Read more
f $19k was unreasonable (he was wrong- it's still online for $21k). We didn't get any further, he was so awful I just hung up. We went somewhere else, paid less money for the exact same vehicle and were treated professionally and with respect. Don't buy a used car from Tyanan's Wollongong - the sales manager probably doesn't want to talk to you anyway.

Rude, arrogant and unprofessional
Made an offer on a vehicle and received a phone call by a really rude and unprofessional fella. Instead of telling me sorry that the offer was far too low, he proceeded to get all angry with me asking me what business I had making the offer and didn't I know that it cost him over $50 per enquiry. No I didn't. And maybe the advertisement should stipulate no negotiation, and please be mindful that all enquiries cost $50 or so.
This dealer sets in stone the stereotype about car salesmen. Steer clear of this company.

Worst Dealer In History
Don't ever buy a car from them they are a bunch of liars. I bought a used car 2011 model and 3 months and 12 days later the clutch is completely gone. Up for about $2k+ and it had a 5000km warranty also (I have only driven the car 2500km) and they are not honouring it. Fair trading here I come!

Old school bully boy tactics won’t win you customers
Car not as described then when you point things out you get threatened with legal action unless you sign the contract and get it fixed later with substandard workmanship. The used part of this dealership is stuck in the dark ages and is everything bad about this industry - my advice - stay away

Absolutely hopeless
Would have to be the worst Mercedes dealership in Sydney if not Australia from trying to purchase a car to buying spare part that only accepts cash no credit card for payment. Their service department has no idea in customer service the whole place needs to be looked at from a HR perspective. Now I know why they get so many bad reviews.

Learn how to treat your customers
I did a great mistake visiting this dealership,
I have never been treated this way before, I think I was treated more like a burden rather than a potential customer, it was like I had to convince them for them to show me around, although the service I got from most of the staff was average it was the store manager that was the worst, he was ok in the beginning but 20 mins later came out really rude and unprofessinal, basically told me that I was wasting peoples time by going around looking for cars and to stop doing that!!!! if I'm paying for...Read more

Service 4WD fault with a Jeep
Took months to get this looked at, when they finally got the parts in to replace Module Electronic Limited Slip D
Wife picked the car up, told all OK, Good to go $700 thanks.
Drove off and did a U-turn at the foot of the driveway because the service 4WD light is still on, walked back in and they said "yeh that wasn't the problem, 9 times out of 10 that's the problem, still have to pay the $700 for the control module but it will be another $2000 for some problem with the axel. That's just the way Jeep works",

Do not touch with a 10 foot pole!
Bought a Mercedes Viano back in 2013. Had problems right from the word go - it was in essence a lemon. I never complained just dutifully handed it over every time for a whole day. We bought an extended warranty with them due to the car's lemon-y behaviour. We always serviced through them. Within a week 2 of the engine covers underneath came loose. We were down the coast when the first one happened. A mechanic looked at it - they had forgotten to put the washers on to hold. He reattached it correctly and we were out $50. A few days later I was d...Read more
riving a long when I suddenly hear a banging noise. I called roadside assistance. It was dragging on the ground. The roadside assistance man showed me that they had put the washers on the wrong side. I took it in to Tynan Mercedes, they said that I was have to pay$200 to replace one piece of moulded plastic plus labour. I said it should be under warranty. The service manager was rude and aggressive, implying liar when only Mercedes have ever touched my car. We elevated our complaint to the dealer principal who sided with her manager. We took it to Mercedes head office and they told us we would have to deal with Tynan Mercedes. We refused. We have traded it in and couldn't be happier we don't ever have to deal with them againSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Worst Service Ever
Brand new car with scratches on it from the showroom. After having to take it back for 4 reviews, each time having to leave the car for the whole day, finally thought it was going to be resolved, only to get the car back with only half of the scratches fixed.
To get them re looked at again, I needed to go through the whole hoop jumping from the start. Very poor way to present new cars and then to have to waste so much time having to get it all repaired.

Go elsewhere
This company will actively try to rip you off. Despite having a vehicle subject to capped servicing they still thought they could charge me well above the capped price. It wasn't until I referred the matter to Fair Trading and got them involved did they finally admit to ripping me off and relented to paying the money back (surprising also that whenever they have an issue the staff member who messed up always no longer works there - and this inst the first issue).

2 week service wait for an electrical fault with the safety features
Purchased a brand new Mercedes from them a year ago and I've had countless issues that have resulted in me needing to take the vehicle in.
The receptionists and service department team are absolutely horrible. They have extremely poor customer service skills and are less than helpful.
ALSO, PLEASE BE WARY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PURHCASING A MERCEDES WITH THE BLACK GLASS LIKE PANELS AROUND THE WINDOWS AND ON THE ROOF.
These panels WILL discolour - although they do not tell you this when purchasing the car.

by the owner, when i took it back in complaining of discolouration on the panels on a brand new vehicle. To rectify, they simply offer to wash your car for you with a polish to clear the discolouration however it will return. I am now on a 2 week wait to take my vehicle in after i had to call roadside assistance following an electrical fault with my vehicle. All of the safety features are inoperative although the car will still drive.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Surprised to be bluntly honest
I was expecting to be torn apart, I wasn’t I was happy with the negotiation process. It took some banter, they drive a hard bargen. But in the end I got up to walk out and they knocked another $3k off. Happy I saved $7000 bucks.

Disappointing new car issue still not resolved
Sold an i30 demonstrator with 3000 klm. Navigation system not working when I picked it up. Salesman said simple problem drop into service center on way home. Did so and they asked me to then book in for another day. Did this and they couldn't resolve the problem. Week later asked to send photos of message on screen for manufacturer. Week later again no response. So after calling was told manufacturer hadn't responded to them. Why has this not been pursued? Said they would send another email. RING THEM and complain if they are your suppliers. St...Read more
ill no nav system. Has to be through emails I am told. Not good enough. Update: finally new nav system arrived and after waiting for it to be fitted I am now told it is not working!!!!!!! Now needing a new SD card (that may or may not work). Where is the quality control? Why was a new one sent with no SD card? Was this not tested prior to shipping????? Now at 2 months since purchase I have got nowhere and will have to wait for a replacement SD card.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Wrong name Service Dept. Should be NO SERVICE
Diesel ASK 4 wheel drive. Warning light "Engine overheating, stop safely" Vehicle under warranty so rang to book, Was told 2 weeks earliest available. I pointed out that overheating could severely damage engine and that I was reluctant to drive in the circumstances and if I did so I could be left stranded, late at night/deserted area. No matter was reply and still 2 weeks.

After Care Does Not Exist as soon as they hand over the keys at Tynan Motors Kirrawee
Picked up my brand new Jeep today from Tynan Sutherland. ONE HOUR later the audio stopped working. Went back to Jeep and the sales rep [name removed] told me to go to the service centre and [name removed] would sort it out straight away. Drove to the service centre and guess what? [name removed] wasn't there nor was anyone else from the Jeep service team. [name removed] told me to go back to the dealership and he would sort it out. Got back to the dealership and because he was with another customer (signing a deal) - I didn't exist. [name remov...Read more
ed] (supposed manager) told me to book it into the service centre and go back next week to get it fixed. A ONE hour old car. Once they hand over the keys you don't exist as a customer and any problem they don't want to know about it. Brand new car had finger marks all over it, not detailed and they didn't care. Poor Poor customer service and very disappointing that they took away the excitement of picking up a new car. Would not recommend Tynan Motors Sutherland at all if you want any sort of after care.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Funny thing is there nothing wrong with it, go over a speed bump thoughtlessly, bang, fault comes up, clear it, no fault, just sensitive sensors and connectors
