Poor service
Worst dealer in my 20+ years of experience. There was something always wrong with each service – I ended up with a need to perform a post service check (lights, tyres, whatever) after each service, something I never had to do with any other dealer. Often had to come back, parts were never in stock even when I was calling them two or three times before the appointment to check. Last time they told me parts are not in stock, I went straight up to the parts department and they were right there with my name on them – by that time there were no one ...Read more
in the workshop to install them, had to come back. Couple of times the car was not roadworthy after the service – like brake lights not connected, had to wait till they grabbed someone to have it fixed. Staff is unfriendly. When I told them, I won’t be coming back anymore, they “warned” me this will invalidate my warranty (not true). Switched to another service centre and couldn’t be happier. Because of this dealer certain brands of cars are now off the list for me, as I prefer to service new cars with authorised dealers and cannot see myself going back to Tynan.Similar opinion? Amazing experience
I’m extremely happy with the service that Tynan Sutherland. The staff were all helpful and nice especially Ned and Marco who helped me with everything I needed. I would highly recommend them.

We came to Tynan sutherland used cars after poor service locally. Rory was excellent to deal with. Genuine friendly person who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure we walked away happy with our purchase.

Only ask for Ned
I highly recommend Ned, he is one in a million salesman who is genuine and so professional. I only recommend dealing with him and no one else.
Everything was perfectly fine until I went through the horrible finance representatives. They were pushy, rude and unprofessional to say the least. Phone calls back and forward because they couldn’t do their jobs correctly and professionally. Of course everyone said that wasn’t up to them until the senior manger called to sort it out. I agreed to come it if I only dealt with Ned as he was unlike any Carsales man I have met, genuine and honest. The process went smoothly once I was there in person (convenient). Completely untrustworthy & incompetent!
Told we should purchase the extra warranty on our daughters fiat 500S for capped servicing etc.
So we did & upon taking the car to its first service, they tried to convince us that she needed her brake pads changed, as they were extremely low but upon looking at them I knew she could get a bit more wear on them.
They tried to charge us $1900 if we had it done with them, instead had them done 1 & and half years later by Fiat Leichhardt, who charged us for genuine parts at $1200!
Most recently we had to have the Fiat towed to their service...Read more
centre in Kirrawee because the car had zero coolant & they tried to charge us just under $1800 to get a new radiator, called Fiat Leichhardt & they’ll fix it for $1100. We will NEVER go back to Tynan, for their useless services that come with extra problems. They clearly have no regard in offering quality customer experiences or offer genuine & honest customer service. They need to get this sorted or they’ll continue to lose customers. Profiteers & Incompetents
Unnecessary service carried out on my vehicle, as their service info was 9 months out of date. Charged for service when it was only supposed to be a free inspection at 5000kms. Charged $163 for 8 ltrs of Castrol Lube Oil, when I can buy it for half that elsewhere. Took over 3 weeks for refund, and had to ask vehicle manufacturer to intercede just to get the refund. Not to be trusted under any circumstance.

Buyer BEWARE!!
Purchased car from Tynan Motors Miranda and as I live in Victoria the vehicle had to under go a roadworthy test to pass it's Victorian Motor Registration. This car was sold with a two year warranty. The car didn't pass due to lack of tread on both front tyres, resulting in me having to purchase two new front tyres at over $700. A letter to Mercedes-Benz Australia resulted in being told it was the issue of Tynan Motors to resolve. I was told by Tynan Motors I should not have bought a car from N.S.W. to drive in Victoria, because this car would have passed registration in N.S.W.!!
As I said.....BUYER BEWARE.

Safety recall
Booked my Forester in at Tynan kirrawee for the airbag recall and 3 other recalls on my vehicle, ranging from Tow bar to sensors. They told me they couldn’t do it for 3 months .(January was first Contact with them) Their text /sms reminder system was apparently down so I missed the appointment. Tried to re book in at kirrawee, they were to busy to talk, sent me an sms they would call back - no call back. Still no action on my car. 11 months after initial contact,
Had similar issues with my van at Tynan Mercedes so I’m not joking my breath for any improvements in service.

Unprofessional Service Jeep Patriot Reg. No BKR 28R
Several year ago a Jeep Patriot was purchased from Tynan. The car was serviced ONLY by Tynan since its purchase. On the last service, it was discovered by chance that the wrong oil filter has been affixed. As this resulted on an oil leak, Tynan service solved the problem by applying silicone filler. This unprofessional service was discovered by chance. Photos of this are available.

Absolute worst car service center!!
Rang to book in to get my brakes done for the car service, as they were squealing pretty badly, the car was a little shaky while braking, and was told on the last service that they were just above their limits and would need to be replaced upon the next service. Then after this service they said that they were still OK and when I complained, they just told me that they don't do brakes on the weekend, when I was told specially they could when booking it in. You can shove your extended warranty where the sun don't shine, I'll be taking my car elsewhere

Worst Car Dealer in Southern Shire
Lied from the get go, told me the car had certain features that it didn't. Refused to ever admit they are wrong. Definition of car sharks.

Service nightmare
Poor customer service, when getting services. Plus they don't use 4WD break pads on 4WDs and charge you a fortune for cheap useless break pads. No customer safety.
What's the go with giving you a coin to wash your own car. I can do it better at home without having to drive all the back to Kirrawee to wash my own car with there useless coin.
