Warranty is a joke
New car warranty on a Subaru Forrester is non existent as far as I am concerned. They say you have to pay for a diagnostic service. Subaru Australia says that if it is proven to be a warranty covered issue Tynans should refund the cost. Tynans says that a claim for reimbursement would be sent to Subaru and they decide whether it is refunded. So the moral of the story is a warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.

Good products, unfortunately terrible service department
My wife and I were Subaru fans but after the 12 and 36 Month major services our Subaru XV came back running rough both those times with oil overfilled 20mm over the Full Line.... The first time the car came back running rough it took them 3 months after multiple return visits to resolve under warranty, the 2nd time they'd kept it 4 days and lessened the roughness but not completely....After they wouldn't commit to continue investigation as warranty we had another mechanic check and found one of the Coil on plugs locking bolt was loose and the coil had been damaged during their service, replacement at my own cost rectified the rough running. Unable to trust Tynan servicing we traded the Subaru for another brand not under their umbrella.

Fabulous Service!
Trevor at Tynan Used Motors provided us with EXCELLENT service. He went above and beyond for us, nothing was too much trouble. He was prompt, efficient, courteous... couldn't have asked for a better gentleman and dealership. We love our new car too! :-)

We purchased an LDV van for our business from Tynan Motors in Sutherland and also a tray. The sale and after sale service was so disappointing. We had to drive down to Wollongong to get the tray (already purchased in the sale) installed on the van. When we went down the part wasn't there causing a second trip all the way from Sydney just to get the car fitted out as was promised in the purchase. We had also spent $2K in repairs during that time with Tynan. Horrible experience : tynan sales and used car sales terrible service from [name removed] was largely unhelpful, uncaring and took advantage of us needing to sell the van. After Sales Service is bad
The Service Department at Tynan is woeful. They miss items and spin a load of rubbish to try to cover up / make you go away. Makes a joke of 'Dealer Professional Service'. No better than a corner garage but much more expensive.

No More Chances
Returned to buy a third car from Tynans despite our hesitations after a total lack of customer service in the past. Price and deal sorted on a new Outback 3.6R...close to 50k. Provided credit card details for deposit and was awaiting the contract of sale. No contract was sent. The following day a different sales rep rang to say they wouldn't be honouring the price as the business rego (which they were aware of from the start) would cost an extra $400.00. Update - Sales Manager rang me two days later to discuss the 'misunderstanding', claiming he could 'do the deal' at the previously refused price. Never giving another cent to Tynans. Poor after sales service
I guess they receive so many complaints that their solution is to simply ignore and complaints and not reply to you. Simple, they won’t be getting my servicing over 5 years and won’t be buying from them again.

General sales manager, George and sales executive, Tony most helpful. Very happy with overall sale and delivery.

Tynan refuse warranty on cars... take your warranty work to a non tynan dealer. You will never go back!.
Warranty does not exist with tynan motors ... crooks ... take your car to another dealer where it amazingly is warranty and fixed within a week with a free loan car and happy respectful staff. Thankyou heartland jeep!. Your business will keep growing by treating people with respect and honesty.

Sutherland Tynan branch
We bought a new LDV G10 people mover for our business “Ladies Running Errands“ from Sutherland and we were ever so happy with the friendly wonderful service. Ned was so helpful and genuine. And Luke in finance was also great. Both were not pushy and they were very professional in every way. Thank you Ned and Luke for making our new purchase so much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend these guys.

Great fast awesome service
We take my wife’s Pajero to service and there is never any issues.
Staff are fantastic and great service cater to all our needs.
Have also felt with the guys in the wholesale parts department as I am a mechanic, wonderful service and all the boys have great products knowledge.

I had been waiting for another dealership to approve my finance for 10 days. I got a great deal and approval of my finance in about 30 minutes.
Elizabeth and Thomas were efficient, friendly and got the job done effortlessly.
I had to drive 2 1/2 hours to pick up my car from them ... so happy to go out of my way for such excellent service

Have been trying for two days to get onto the parts department at tynan's Miranda have spent approxmently 3hrs on hold and have had the phone hung up on me 6 times also have left 6 messages to call me back and I'm still waiting over all extremely bad

totally unprofessional
We bought a Mercedes which lasted 2 days before having many electrical issues, after sales service is disgraceful and are treating us like we are lyre's, most disappointing experience and not finished yet.
they wont replace or refund the car which has now had 3 attempts to repair it,

Hopeless customer service and follow up
Service not completed as per the schedule, due to an error in their system. Only replaced oil. No underbody inspection completed either, bolts not greased etc. They stamped the book with work completed regardless. Lucky we checked our schedule, when I followed up for replacement air filter, fuel filter etc, was advised that they have the parts, so made a 2 hour trip in. Had my car all day, no message on the phone regarding status. I turned up in the afternoon to find out they haven’t sourced parts which they should have stock anyway, and to co...Read more
me back folowing tuesday. I called on Monday just to check, don’t have all the parts and no eta either. 3 days later still waiting for a call. Meanwhile I’ve booked in with another dealer who actually stocks the parts. Pathetic service, I’ll never go there again.1 comment

Amazing service from Tynan motors Wollongong
After making enquires about the warranty period for my Subaru Forester M19, I was extremely pleased that the sales manager put my case forward and had my three year warranty period extended to five.

great at purchase - SHOCKING with service and warranty work
If you guy from here, don't bother getting it serviced or any warranty work. They simply ignore it and do nothing.
Dropped our 2016 Kia Carnival off last week to be washed, have a split CV boot repaired and some electrical faults identified, the car was offered to stay there for days plus if need be. The didn't wash it, didn't replace the CV boot, and didn't investigate all the electrical faults they identified. And rung me up at end of day 1 saying it was all finished come and get it.
To make it worse, they treat you like a criminal if you get upset. They expect you to run the car backward and forwards to suit their schedule, and don't care about you the Customer what so ever !!

Good service Kirrawee
We had dealings with Jake and Paul at Kirrawee. Both guys looked after me and my wife with respect and were truly professional and honest.
We decided on our car with a minimum of fuss and the deal was done. We were happy with the purchase price and price for our trade in.
When we arrived to collect our car they “unveiled” it to us, which we thought was a nice touch.
We can only say good things about the guys and Tynan Used Cars Kirrawee
