From the initial visit to their showroom to the final installation was perfect, the sales staff took the time to explain everything and their recommendations were spot on without blowing the budget, the installation was flawless and very tidy, they even cleaned up after themselves, even took their rubbish with them, thank you West Coast Hifi Rockingham

Drove by the Joondalup store to observe signs being taken down and a for lease sign up. As a former customer, I found them pretentious, not quite honest. For example, I was directed to a home theater projector that was atmos ready. Please explain. No loss if closed.

Went to the store and was looking for a particular product. Walked around the store until I gave up and asked the guy at the front. He was friendly and courteous and helped me find the product. As a bonus the product was on sale. He helped me carry the product to the till and completed the transaction promptly.

I was sourcing a Sonos Beam sound bar online and found West Coast HiFi had them on special at a very attractive price with free delivery. I ordered one online via the Osborne Park store and, a few days later, it was delivered by courier. Fantastic service only lacking email confirmation when order placed and again when item sent - however my email asking if order had been received was answered promptly.
Bought some in ceiling speakers from them with them Tell me that they'll make a deal for me to buy the product at a cheap price. Even with their "discount" their price was still 30% above the competition.
Do your research! These guys are either I'll informed or lie to make a quick buck.

Having dealt with Steve from the Rockingham store for many years, i decided on upgrading my complete home theatre & 2 channel system. After telling Steve exactly what i was after he helped me choose the best components for my environment. Steve was happy to take time out after hours more than once to come by and set up and calibrate my complete system from scratch and actually managed to tidy up all the cables which were an absolute mess beforehand. I now have a top notch system that has never sounded better and i actually look forward to watching movies now. Highly recommend the boys at Rockingham - very knowledgeable & helpful.
Thanks to Con and the team at West Coast HiFi in O'Connor. We had wires and mess everywhere with our old set up as we had been adding bits and pieces over the years. They hooked up our existing amplifier, speakers and sub woofer to the new wall mounted 65 inch TV and we could not be happier with the result. They even set up the old TV in the spare room for the kids with all the wiring again dealt with neatly. Fantastic job.

Once you buy the product from this store & it’s been paid, you can forget the service. They give you the run-around for months!! The store & the installers are always playing the blame game and neither will ever accept any liability!! Be very careful... I bought Bose sound system, new tv & intercom unit which never worked properly.
Saturday in Midland West Coast hifi I asked for specific make and model of headphones as checked reviews and decided on one model. Told they had been replaced by another one with smaller ear cups. Bought them. Sat in the car and checked online- Bose website and West Coast hifi website clearly showed that they had not been superseded or replaced. My receipt didn’t match what I had been sold but stated a different model. Went back in and was told to keep these as better and try them and if not happy he would order in the previous model for me. I said no and was told nothing could be done until Monday. I said I wanted what I had asked for and that I wanted a refund. I went to JB-HIFI and got what I wanted with great service.
$12,000 for West Coast HiFi Midland to set up theatre room. I'm over the parts buggered, usually out of warranty. $150 for a home call each time to fix every issue that I've encountered.

Mid year (2017) I purchased an 8k Epson projector theatre system ~ no complaints with the assistance choosing the system, organising the installation and general service leading up to the purchase.
Last Friday week watching the cricket, there was a loud pop, and the result was the projector lamp had blown. I rang store ‘A’ to enquire if they had spare lamps, I provided the projector specs and was advised they did not have any in store, the sales person took all my details and said they would do some investigation with regards obtaining a lam...
Read morep, the cost and delivery details... No phone call back... Two days later, I called store ‘B’ and went through exactly the same process, in fact, the salesperson even sounded generally empathetic with trying to get a new lamp before the Christmas break.... well, no phone call back... Very unimpressed. I’m sure if I rang interested in buying a new theatre system, both stores would have called back pronto with some details. As it is, they have my 8k and I would suggest just cannot be bothered with helping in some after sales service for a $150 lamp. I haven’t even gone near the issue the lamp probably lasted only 540 hours (3 hours per day x 180 days - that’s an over estimation). This I’ll do via an email to West Coast Hi Fi.I brought the Lifestyle 650 home entertainment and a few other items, including installation through West Coast Hi-Fi. Dealing with West Coast Hi-Fi staff was the worst experience of my life. The sales guy I dealt with said one thing, at the point of sale, and then back-flipped on fixed install costs, gear supplied, and installation method, etc. He wouldn’t even acknowledge his own emails (he sent to me) committing to his service. The installer was also rude, messy and the installation was bad and will require fixing and completion. Not al...
Read morel the gear was installed. Some of the gear arrived with no packaging at all, covered in dust, parts missing, warranties and manuals not provided. They won’t respond to calls or emails (even just to get warranty cards and manuals). I have been polite and patient towards them and confused as to how to proceed, as this has never happened before with any purchase I have made. I would never purchase anything from West Coast Hi-Fi again.- 5 reviews

I ordered a product from their web site. I then needed to call them to ask them a question. They have 7 shops listed on their web site with 7 different phone numbers. Most phone numbers were disconnected and the couple that weren't rang out with no answer. I then went to Google Street View and looked up the address of the shop I bought the item from. The shop didn't exist. So I emailed the business answer. No answer. I contacted PayPal to report an issue. They too tried to contact the owner unsuccessfully. Then I received one email from the bus...
Read moreiness owner asking me to tell PayPal I had received the product when I hadn't! I responded to him as such and once again got no answer. I ended up getting my money back through PayPal. Thank god I used PayPal! Do not use this business! He clearly doesn't operate any more but is still taking peoples money!Questions & Answers
