Good so far
My second Westinghouse dishwasher. This seems to be doing the job well. Quite flexible with how you can place the internal racks. Love that it has its own rack for the cutlery. Only negative is when I pull the bottom rack out and push it back in it doesn't go in straight-away and requires a bit of adjustment or lifting up. Something I can live with. :)

Good features at a good price
I bought this to replace my 6+ year old fisher and paykel dishwasher. It was affordable and had good features like the dry + and the cutlery drawer.
I'm not going to lie, when I first used this I was not happy with it, I kept setting the dry + option and my dishes were not drying properly. I went back and re-read all the reviews on here and found that I had misunderstood the manual and the dry + only works on some settings (heavy and eco). Once I figured that out and used the correct settings it has been drying as expected. It still doesn't dr...Read more

Good Dishwasher
Compact dishwasher good clean not suitable for big or cooking pot realised the top rack is height adjustable in case you have a big plate. It's 3 stars rating. Have couple of options like rinse, eco, heavy program. Down side is the wire where you place the plates can drop if the plate is too heavy

I want to buy 3, so they'll last my lifetime!
This is the best! My mum has one, and I was determined to have it.
I don't know why some other reviews say their plates don't fit, I have 28cm plates, and they all fit just fine, without removing racks.
I love the cutlery tray at the top - every machine should have one as standard, it makes so much sense. It cleans really well, and the options for dry/no dry, extra rinse, hygiene/high temp setting etc are just brilliant.
So is the half load option, top or bottom tray. You can put the breakfast dishes in the top to wash as you pack the...Read more

Error Code F5 - Inadequate Water Supply - possible solution
We also had issues with error code F5 since purchase. Our machine is raised up similar to a wall oven so you don't have to bend down to load or empty it. This puts the drain point of the machine at a higher level than the drain point that it is connected to on sink s-bend. I pulled the machine apart and found no object blocking the system, it would go through the majority of cycle then stop. The manual has a picture that the drain pipe must be raised at the rear of the machine (approx half way up). This is important as the drain pipe as it come...Read more
s out of the machine has a frog flap (non return valve) and if the pipe is not raised then the system drains all of the water from the machine similar to a siphon and therefore causes an inadequate supply of water. Raise the pipe the machine pumps out what it needs then the balance of water stays in the system and continues with its cycle. I have held the drain pipe up with some cord at the rear of the machine and it now works perfectly.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Works well
Having researched dishwasher's on product review we decided to purchase this make and model for our investment property. It looks really nice and it has great wash options. Our tenant loves how quiet it is to run and she say's she has to listen to see if it has finished it cycle. Very happy with our choice.

Good, but hard to fit everything in
I really loved this dishwasher when I went to buy a new one. The big selling point was the top cutlery/sharp knife tray. I loved this feature and it sold me on this model. Unfortunately I was to discover this comes at a cost of precious space which flows all the way down the dishwasher. For example, I can’t fit regular or even small sized bread and butter plates in the top drawer as they hit against the cutlery tray. This means these small plates have to go down in the bottom tray, which in turns leaves less space for pots and pans. Consequentl...Read more
y, I nearly always have an overflow of dirty dishes left on the sink because they wouldn’t quite fit...in my old dishwasher (a Bosch) everything fit just fine. I still quite like the cutlery tray for putting sharp knives, kitchen scissors, garlic press, stirring spoons etc. in, but wish I had space for butter plates in the top draw. This drawer accommodates small dessert bowls okay which is good I guess. Cleaning-wise, it does a great job leaving everything squeaky clean so no complaints there. It’s not too noisy either, I don’t really notice it when it’s running.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Defective Product from delivery
Purchased late last month from Harvey Norman been sitting in garage boxed up. Read lots of reviews great value for money, adjustable dish racks, cutlery basket, dishwasher tablets etc. We waited for our kitchen upgrade to be completed and floors, when installer almost finished the job today, I asked why scratches on it fro top to bottom? On closer inspection also has steel code pin print stamp all on the front door of dishwasher lots of other small indentations and scratches. How in the hell did this get through Quality Control Westinghouse who makes such rubbish and allows for the unit to be sent out for purchase?

Worst dishwasher I have ever had!
Every since it was purchased, we have had continual F5 faults (so called water pressure issues). Never had this problem with past dishwashers and there are no issues with water pressure at my home. Unable to have a shower or flush the toilet while the dishwasher is on. Dishwasher looks nice, but operationally it is a dismal failure. Spoke to service centre a number of times and all they are interested in is telling you that if they come out and there is no issue we will be charged rather than focusing on what the problem may be. Absolutely regret buying the dishwasher and would not recommend it or the aftermarket service process to anybody.

Great very happy with the clean .
I don't know about other reviewers, I love this machine, I've had it for 3 weeks, dishes come out sparkling clean and dry each time, I use the fairy platinum tablets, took a lil to learn to stack but now I'm a pro,
Would recommend to people for sure! :)

OK but has design flaws
Has the potential to be a great dishwasher as very quiet, effectively cleans dishes and looks great, except for the one big design flaw....it doesn't fit in standard size dinner plates. I have Maxwell Williams White Basic crockery set which is apparently a standard size (27 cm) but they didn't fit. I had to remove the very useful cutlery tray and raise the upper basket. It means I now need to use the alternative cutlery basket on the bottom basket, but there is no space for it. The manual shows a spot where it is meant to sit, but in reality this place doesn't exist. I have to wedge it onto the tines which means the basket sits at an angle. Poorly designed. I recommend you take your plates with you to check it out before purchasing!!

Love it!
Love this dishwasher. I've had many brands over the years & this is the first Westinghouse appliance I have purchased. I have to say I am impressed. It is the quietest dishwasher I have had, that when running I don't hear it from the other room or while sleeping. The dishes come out super clean and dry! My previous dishwashers would never dry the dishes. And I absolutely love the cutlery tray at the top. This is a genius idea. No more cutlery holder taking up space at the bottom of the dishwasher and bits of food not washed. Did I mention the ease of grouping your cutlery and putting it away. Love it!

Very angry my standard dishes don't fit
What a rort. My new dishwasher doesn't fit standard dishes. I will never buy anything from this company again. Beyond angry. I want a refund not on only the machine but the $130 to install and $49 delivery. Don't buy the dishwasher you will be disappointed it can't do the basic of chores and clean a normal size dinner plate.

Fantastic! Cutlery draw is a huge time saver
Bought this from Harvey Norman in July 2017. Great unit that performs well.
Loving the cutlery tray at the top which has become a real time saver.
Often use the shorter cycle and it cleans just as well.
Super quiet machine too, especially compared to older unit it replaced.
Would recommend to others looking for affordable but decent options.

Great but dishes dont fit
Before buying this dishwasher I did so much research so I'm disappointed that my dinner plates wont fit in any of the lower racks, other than this - its terrific. Very quiet, easy to operate, excellent programs and I love the upper cutlery drawer. The price we got the dishwasher for was amazing too.

It is decent
it has enough room and settings but only sometimes when used tablets the soap is left on dishes. I need to re wash it under tap to remove extra soap.
When used with correct settings and not too crowded gives best results.
non stick and aluminum utensils should not be used. they change the color of these utensils.

Awesomeness!
Very easy to operate. Whisper quiet and a perfect clean everytime. Couldn't be happier with this product! The price was fair and the grease removal properties are second to none compared with my last unit. Easy on the water which in my book is also a big bonus two thumbs up!

Works great for 6 months; and then suddenly flooded my kitchen & living room!
Cleans pretty well! Capacity is great, with big space inside. Two big racks with another small tray for chopsticks, spatulas, cutleries, etc.
Doesn't dry well unless I manually open it to release all the steam immediately after it finished a cycle with 'dry'. But anyway this is my first dishwasher and I guess all dishwashers work like that. I mean, otherwise, where can all the steam go, right? They'll have to condense sooner or later, if not let released.
THE PROBLEM IS, after using it for 6 months with not a single problem, it SUDDENLY F...Read more
LOODED my kitchen & living room on last Saturday evening. Luckily I was in the living room when it happened, and started mopping water maybe only 10 minutes after the flooding. After cleaning up the mess, I disconnected hoses & power and took it out. To my surprise, the drain hose got a few very small holes on it! That's some terrible quality hose! How can a dishwasher part from such a well established company just last 6 months!? It's unacceptable! More disappointed is that I called their support this afternoon and they told me I might be charged for the repair! It is still within warranty! What sense does it make that I'll need to pay for the repair???3 comments

Hello Rumana,
I had a horrible experience with the technician who tried to fix my dishwasher drain hose! ... Read more
When opening the back panel (through which the drain hose come out), he cracked it open using a flat-head screwdriver and with brute-force! The clip (on the panel), which holds the panel in place on the back of the dishwasher, was broken. At the end, he simply used a screw to drill a hole on both the panel & the back of the dishwasher, in order to keep the panel in place. I don't know how much experience this technician has regarding this model of the dishwasher; but it was pretty apparent to me that the clip on the panel should be pressed from the inside of the machine, in order to correctly open it without breaking anything. Since he has already taken off the right-side cover and the bottom cover, I don't know why he had to crack it open with brute-force!? On a few occasions I was questioning him why he had to do some of the repair tasks his way, carelessly breaking stuff & missing necessary steps. He kept telling me like 'Can you please let me do my job?' or 'Will you do it or will I do it?'. Well, if you can do a reasonable & logical job, I wouldn't have had so much doubt, right? When installing the replacement drain hose back to the drain nozzle, he simply ignored the rubber one-way valve which dropped on the floor when he took off the original broken drain hose. I had to pick it up and remind him 'what is this?' & 'Should we install this back in?' At that time I wasn't sure what it was, but logically figured that if it comes out when you take the hose off, it must be useful in there, right? (It is only when I found out that drain water was going back into my dishwasher last night, I suddenly realised that it's a one-way valve.) So then he listened to me that time and plugged the hose off the nozzle in order to put back the one-way valve in between the nozzle and the hose. HOWEVER, he again just rushingly pushed the hose back onto the nozzle, ignoring that the valve became out-of-place. I reminded hime that it moved. And at that moment he told me 'Will you do this or will I do this?'. What an arrogant and careless attitude!!!? So last night (9 Apr 2017) when I was loading the dishwasher for the second time after the "repair", I suddenly saw dirty drain water raising up in the dishwasher. This was not happening at all before the "repair"! The technician totally screwed up the repair and the proper functioning of draining! This is so disappointing! What is response from Electrolux/Westinghouse regarding this issue?? Below images show the broken clip on the back panel & the newly caused issue of drain water back-flow: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xjxdzhd8agh0t1e/broken-clip-on-back-panel.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/yaezhpieo979y3y/drain-water-rising-in-dishwasher.jpg?dl=0 Thanks. Yours Sincerely MartinElectrolux contacted me and arranged a replacement for me. Exactly the same model; a brand new one. Two delivery persons/technicians came. Great value
Quality construction in an easy to use machine. The "Time Save" cycle gives a great wash in well under an hour. This machine has a good range of functions and is very stylish addition to our kitchen. It is much quieter than our previous dishwasher, which is important as we are both light sleepers. Very happy with it.

se the traditional cutlery basket. Bad design Westinghouse, did not any person measure up what would fit. I have average sized plates from Ikea and Big W none are large plates, such a waste I can not use this top cutlery basket, this was one of the designs that sold me on the choice of this purchase. So its a waste of time having the rack in as it takes up room for placement of glasses, cups and mugs. Otherwise great machine drying is good and glasses clear and no residue. Take along some of your plates and see if they fit before you purchase this machine.
