It is has problem with drive motor every year which stop and not working should go for service the parts is not available unless purchase from their company which is expensive ($500)while the motor inside should be $60-$70 and not change the whole component.So I recommended to buy with programmable timer
it clean and picks all small rubbish on floor and wall of the pool which none of the skimmer can do it as well as you do not need to buy any more hoses,
and the services after sale is good

From my experience, this machine does not perform as it is promoted or advertised! It does not climb walls to the waterline. It does not climb onto or clean stairs. It does not stand the test of time. If you happen to buy the machine and it fails to fulfil your needs, Zodiac will not honour the warranty. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere for a Robotic cleaner - not a Zodiac. Try a Dolphin or a Kreepy Crawlie. Better still, save yourself $500 and buy a vacuum pool cleaner and clean your stairs manually.

Bought this a few weeks ago and its performing better than I expected. My pool is surrounded by several large trees which happily decide to drop their varying size presents into our pool throughout the year. I was concerned because some of these presents were quite large pebbles / balls and it didn't know if this would jam up the cleaner. We also have large 20cm leaves dropping in. The cleaner has been working well and picking up about 95% of the debri including large pebbles. The only thing is struggles with is long slither leaves from palm trees (over 50cm long which is why I didn't give it the perfect 5 stars) but still this is an easy to use, excellent cleaner and is highly recommended.

For years I have always had a zodiac suction cleaner but had to change this time because the skimmer box tabs have broken over the years and it was now impossible to use a suction cleaner without putting a brick in the skimmer box. After much research and comparison I bought a CX20 robotic cleaner and after a few months of operation my pool has never been cleaner, even with a massive gum tree right next to the pool that sheds leaves and crap all the time and the CX 20 performs perfectly. We have a number of large gum trees in our yard and since moving in 8 months ago have struggled to maintain the pool. After a bit of online research I decided on the cx20 as a last resort, given the waste of money a creepy crawly was. We bought it 2 weeks ago and I am so glad we did! I am not in any way disappointed. We have a kidney shape pebble crete pool, around 45,000L. At first it struggled to climb the walls because our pool was green and very dirty. But with the help od the cx20 our pool is now clean and it climbs up the walls no worries...

The cx20 is great value and mostly does a good job, my problem is that it tends to stay down the deep end permanently and never find its way up to the shallow end. Does anyone know if there's a reset function?

The best buy ever for my pool cleaning. Pick up all leaves. The pool cleaner is easy to operate and maintain. The best thing is I don't have to use it ever day like most pool cleaners. I would recommend it to every person th has a pool of any make.

I was recommended a robotic cleaner by the pool maintenance fellow yet was shocked at the price and not convinced on their ability. After reading many positive reviews on the Cx20 I decided to purchase. I am mesmerised by what it can achieve. It cleans all surfaces of our 12m x 8m pool no problems. Very satisfied.

Easy to use, pleasantly surprised with amount of dirt and sand it picks up along with large oak tree leaves and usual other plant litter, worms etc. Pool had not been cleaned for several months, so needed to empty & clean filter several times on first cleaning cycle. No problem climbing my pool concrete walls and steps. Key is to read the manual and clean the filter after every cleaning cycle. Very happy with the CX20.

THE CX20 not only picks up leaves,etc,etc.it also picks upon fine debris, like sand from sand filter or dust,etc.follow owner manuals instructions, for settings,etc.& it will surely do the job. I make sure I clean the CX 20 every cycle and this will improve performance, it's worth the money spent & now just wait for summer to kick in.

I am extremely disappointed!!! Don't get fool by the videos.

Issue:
My new CX-20 pool cleaner not climbing and cleaning
- My 3.8m x 2.0m with the depth 0.6m swimout area
- My 2m x 0.5m with the depth 0.5m mini swimout area
- Code is tangling all the time and need to fix up every day.

My beach area is very big and I need to clean this manually due to these issues.

Called few times but customer service agents requested to sent an e-mail. I have submitted my product registration as well 10 days but no a single call or e-mail reply.

Due to old age I found cleaning/vacuuming the pool a real challenge. I have had the CX20 for only 3 weeks, but it has done fantastic job of cleaning both the bottom and sides to the fibreglass pool independent of the existing filtration system which now only has the task of skimming the leaves floating on the surface. It takes about 2 hours to completely clean my 7 X 3 metre pool. The CX20 appears to be well designed and engineered and is easy to use. I purchased a trolley from Bunnings for $50 to transport the CX20 with its umbilical cable ...

I have only had mine for a month - but so far I find it very easy to use - just a button to push and off it goes. It is also much lighter than I had imagined I found it easy to put in and take out of the water - quick work of cleaning the pool and easy to empty basket and clean - then just put away - an hour from beginning to end.

I bought the cx20 on 16/01/2016. It is absolute rubbish. Do not have a fully tiled pool, does not climb walls. Does not cover pool just stays in deep end. Gets hung up on plastic drain cover in deep end. This product is junk, would not recommend. Pool is a simple shape 6 m x 5.5 m so no reason not to clean entire area.

Also broken after 3 months. We bought a house with a pool which had been neglected and has overhanging palm trees which drop quite a lot of litter into the pool here in Cairns. The old pool cleaning equipment was very labour intensive and a friend lent me a suction cleaner which was ok but still labour intensive. This pool has uneven surfaces in the form of fake rocks but the CX20 got to every corner and picked up everything. I have a large pebble Crete pool. Hadn't been vacuumed for several weeks. Threw the CX20 in for 2 hours and it came up a million dollars. Anything that saves me time and does what it says it is supposed to do is a great product.

Handles walls without a drama and is quite fascinating to watch.

Having inherited a well known branded suction cleaner, while it worked, it was more hassle than it was worth.
After umming and urring, I did bite the bullet and bought a Zodiac CX, and was pleasantly surprised with its efficiency!

As I have a resident gumtree and we live in the bush, I needed something with a filter capable of handling the gum nuts and leaves that make their way to their bottom of the pool.

The Zodiac CX works well, quietly, and switches itself off like a good boy.

Thanks for making a product that simply works, at an affordable price!

I have had my cleaner for 3 months and has stopped working properly as the track slips and the yellow rollers slips so can't get from deep to shallow end at all and about to go through warranty process to get my money back and go back to a suction cleaner. Bit disappointing for the price.

We have an older para style pool in which the liner has creased and the bottom pitted a little which makes vacuuming a bit of a mission and not necessarily very satisfying when the job is done. This cleaner makes short work of these issues and cleans everywhere, even up the sides. I am very happy.

Used it for the first time today. Wow the CX20 Efficiently cleaned all the gum leaves and finer debris from the pool floor. Easy to remove basket for cleaning. Much improved from my anaconda that never reached all areas of pool. Will save time on cleaning pool cartridge I hope.

Had My CX20 for about 6 months and it has given my my Saturday mornings back! Throw this little baby in and its all great.
Was amazed to see the partials and dirt that come out of the pool when it looked clean already. Best Value far!
Can highly recommend.

Only had it for three days and am absolutely amazed at how efficient the CX20 is at cleaning the pool. Have taken note of other comments complaining about short run life, but am not sure just how genuine they are. Will carefully monitor our new purchase and report in a month's time.

Our pool has a shallow radius where the wall meets the floor yet the CX20 climbs it with ease, it also has very square corners yet the CX20 never gets stuck, we recently had internal steps built into one corner and this cleaner climbs these with ease, the catcher basket is a very good size, this has proven to be the only cleaner that I have tried that I can just set it going and go about my business safe in the knowledge that it won't get stuck as my previous cleaners did, I guess if I have a wishlist it would be a swivel connector on the lead ...

Less than 3 weeks old and it's packed up, when it arrived there was no manual so we couldn't find what was wrong with it it keeps flashing 3 times which means theres something blocking the wheels which are clear so switch it off try again it runs for 10 mins then stops again then when you ring them they act as if you should just accept it !!! Look you just shouldn't sell a product till its been THOROUGHLY tried and tested quite simply this should not happen in this day and age,

Bought one of these after much research and already having a zodiac cleaner that was garbage. This cleaner has lasted one month and has died. It runs but the trucks won't turn unless I wiggle the trucks then it runs for ten feet and stops. The last zodiac I had had gearbox issues and this appears to be a similar issue. The last one was sent away and repaired and took weeks. I don't mind paying for anything but when it doesn't work it's poor. Very disappointing right in the middle of holiday time when I bet they are closed down until January!
