... Read more I received the worst form of customer service, pure incompetence, poor Order Management and false commitments. Consider this the order was placed on 12th July 2023. I received wrong sets of books which were story books instead of law books . I opened the case on 17th July, received 1 book and was told that I will receive the other books at the start of the week. As it currently stands, they were still being processed on 26th July 2023, from 12th July to 26th July you failed to deliver the goods, kept on making false commitments, sent me the wrong books and didn't even have the basic ethics to processing the order fast when you sent the wrong order. If I would have preferred ebooks I would have purchased it from other services better than yours. The reason I ordered the hardcover books is because ebooks don't work for me. So in short, its sheer incompetence and poor customer service that has cost me dearly over here. I highly recommend to think 1000 times before putting an order to you guys

I ordered a book from Zookal, and the website said it would be back in stock in 4 weeks. 8 weeks later I'd heard nothing from Zookal, and emailed them and was told it would be another 4 weeks. 8 weeks after that I've still heard nothing. You can guess what happened next! I called them up and get told my book won't arrive until next year! They clearly had no intention of ever sending the book. While they did allow me to cancel my order when I complained, it should not have been on me to continuously hound them for information on my order. Avoid at all costs, especially when there are reliable, reputable options out there. I ordered my book from another website and had it less than a week later.

In addition to selling textbooks, Zookal offers an online service called Zookal Study (you get signed up to this service when you purchase textbooks online from the company as part of a discount promotion). After waiting far too long for delivery, I accidentally purchased a digital textbook and desperately needed a hard copy. I contacted the company the same day and have now waited four days for them to tell me they will not exchange my product.

Poor everything!!!
I Purchased a book in January and its now its march past the estimated delivery time and suddenly the book is unavailable. Really could of known that months ago. Now my course has started and I do not have my textbook.
Also, it gave me a free subscription with the book and now I have to pay for it when I still don't have my book and its been less than 30 days for the subscription.
Very Mad that Zookal just keeps taking more money and giving me nothing.

Avoid Zookal
Bought a textbook online, said it would be dispatched within 4-6 business days. Heard nothing, so on the 8th day spoke to [Name Removed] from Zookal and asked for an update and they said the book would now be more like 21-28 days until dispatch!? So I said why say 4-6 days? Why didn't they let me know? I asked for a cancellation and refund 48 hours ago. I was promised this would be processed within 24 hours maximum. NOTHING RECEIVED. I have no time for this type of service. They are either too busy or just don't care less! Sorry Zookal, but this is just so poor. Will be raising this with PayPal to get my money back.

Extremely Slow Processing And Shipping, Go Elsewhere.
Extremely poor service and slowest delivery ever! Ordered textbooks, which still have not been dispatched, let alone arrive after several weeks. They claim that 15-20 business days is their time for shipping and processing, and does not even include shipping time. Which really means, you add on another few weeks (judging by Australia Post's shipping time currently) from their "15-20 business days". Very slow dispatch
I have placed my order a month ago. I contacted the customer service every week to check the status. The same answers given every time (due to pandemic) . Terrible service. Ordered two books on 7/11/2021, before the start of the summer trimester. Ordered an item on Oct 15, 2021 and at the time of ordering it showed that the item will be dispatched in 5 to 8 days. But still haven't been sent and when enquired was told that the item is yet to arrive from their supplier. My exam is in Nov 15 and now it'll be received by me only after my exams. I contacted them but they refused for a refund or a store credit saying its out of the grace period to claim refund.
