We'll take your money, then you're on your own
Fast, free shipping. Then you're on your own. I may as well have bought a Chinese Yum Cha digital audio player for AliExpress. I bought the music player to use in my car however the DAP can't be connected to my head unit via Bluetooth or auxiliary cable.
Addicted to Audio have told me that it's nothing to do with them because "no one specifically told you that player would work in that car".

Bad online store
0/10 recommendation for anyone considers purchasing with their online store and I will never choose their service. Their online store is so bad and I felt terrible with their customer service who seems have no idea with their stock availability and purchasing procedures. I order an IEM with their online store and paid immediately with my debit card. But they asked me to send my driver license photo for verifications purpose which I sent to them the same day and then their customer service said its OK and they will try to ship my IEM on the day....Read more
After almost one week with absolute no shipping updates, their customer service sends me an email says they are still waiting for stock yet to come this morning. Now, they just sent me an email says they gonna refund me with EFT because they cannot verify my payment which actually has been made 1 week ago. Great after sales customer service on faulty product
At the Sydney/Newtown outlet, Arthur and Theo were magnificent in dealing with my sales enquiry and, crucially, the after sales care. My Rega RP2 turntable had a loose copper connector that attaches to the cartridge. I did not bring it back to the shop immediately as it was functioning okay. Realising a variable sound quality after about a month, I went to adjust the alignment of the cartridge but 1) there was feedback through the speaker and 2) the copper clasp then came off! It transpired that the tonearm was faulty and the cartridge. Addicted to Audio replaced both as faulty products for brand new ones. First class customer service when, at that stage, I had lost all faith in the product.

Online ordering
Melbourne office has been fantastic with the ordering. I have bought two items from them over the years and the delivery was fast and prompt. The only bad thing I could say that the staff at the Sydney showroom in Newtown was not very knowledgeable regarding price, product and stock availability. So I just rang the Melbourne office and did the transaction over the internet.

The product is fantastic! Brilliant headphones; very happy with it (them)...5 stars for the product;
HOWEVER, this retailer's service & supply of the product was abysmal to say the most.
It would take me a page & a half (& to supply you with a sling for your bottom jaw) to tell you the full, horrifying story of how I, as a respectful, well mannered customer, was treated at this retailer's Newtown store.
Thankfully while I was attending the Sydney Hi-Fi show, in July of this year, I met the CEO of Addicted to Audio & he at least went some way...Read more

Deeply Disappointed
On 2 April 2017, I ordered an Auralic Aries streamer from Addicted to Audio. I received the product promptly.
On 23 May 2017, the Aries stopped working. Addicted To Audio insisted I post the item “back to base” at my own cost. I obliged and returned the item the same day, with tracking details, in unmarked condition, including all protective films and original packaging.

On 27 June 2017, Addicted To Audio told me they had sent me that particular Aries unit because it was the last and only one available. They agreed to replace it with a comparable streamer, namely the Moon Neo MiND, for which I would pay the agreed difference. I was told the MiND would arrive within four weeks, at which time it would be despatched to me. I was told I could continue using the Aries until such time as I received the MiND, so that I would not be left empty-handed. More than ten weeks later, on 5 September 2017, Addicted To Audio confirmed that the MiND was now in stock. They requested I pay the difference. They did not hesitate to take payment and the transaction was immediately completed. I requested a receipt. I am still waiting for this receipt. Also, Addicted To Audio told me they could no longer honour their previous undertaking i.e. they were no longer willing to despatch the MiND until they received the Aries. I explained it would take some time for the Aries to arrive “back to base” due to anticipated transit times. Addicted To Audio were confident that Australia Post would return the Aries to them in “a couple” of days’ time, and that I would be left empty-handed for a negligible period of time. I sent the unit the same day, with tracking details. Nine days later—i.e. today—Australia Post successfully delivered the Aries to Addicted To Audio. Addicted To Audio did not call me, so I called them. I was told they would call me back in five to ten minutes’ time, because they were too busy attending to invoices. Extremely Happy
I have recently bought a hi fi system from this shop in Newtown. They were very helpful & I was very happy with the service I received. I would definitely go back there in the future & I would highly recommend anyone to go & have a look if they are thinking of buying a hi fi or associated equipment.

Superb customer service, pricing and product range
I have been a customer of A2A since 2013. Product purchase history includes headphones/DAC/amp/speakers.
From a service point of view, I've experienced nothing but superb pre and post sales service. George and Guillaume are some of the most friendly, patient and well-informed audiophile retailers I've had the pleasure of dealing with.
As somebody who frequently shops online and imports products from the US, I believe their pricing has always been fair (there's unfortunately always a price doing business in Australia...).
Am more than happy to recommend them for repeat business.

I ordered the headphones a week out (Sunday night), as a gift for my husband's birthday, having read reviews that they had quick customer service turnaround. There's an old business saying that many people can learn from, and perhaps these guys knowingly employ it, or maybe it was a fluke, but it is this: under-promise and over-deliver. Poor customer service - Updated as they got better
I called and they confirm the unit is available, when I arrive, only a demo unit was there and they said either purchase that or wait for two days for the new stock to arrive! I spent an hour travelling to no avail! Staff was not even apologetic. I hate that blonde bearded guy who just ignored me when he realised I am disappointed and just talked to the other customer.
Update: I bought a pair of Sonos one. I called prior going to the shop. The guy before was gone. The new sales people there are very friendly and engaging so I upped my rating.

Second experience of nostock
Twice ordered an item to then be advised no stock and offered alternative - but only after chasing up on status . I have purchased item and had delivered fine but 1/3 purchases is not a good strike rate.

Liars
Sold an item that was out of stock by both the retailer and the importer. Kept lying about the due date so I wouldn't cancel the order. Also more expensive than others but they were honest and stated that the product as out of stock.

Great shop, solid range and super fast turn around.
I've always been much more likely to buy grey import stock since audio products can have an insane mark up from Australia retailers.
These guys had a pretty good price on the Fulla Schiit AMP/DAC that I was looking for.
Bought on short notice and it arrived in 2 days to Sydney suburbs.
Very impressed, will certainly shop again.
