Boris, I am not sure what you connection is with Aldi mobile, maybe German?

Its Very clear even for the Not so bright. There is No after sales service! If your are having issues with your service you are up the creek without the paddle, like I am.

I would also say Boris, my "experience" is worth far more then your "opinion". Do you understand what this website is about? Boris you need to get back onto twitter with the rest of the twit_ters, where you can all share your opinions!

Do you mean that your mobile phone is locked to your previous provider?
If that is the case you will have to get it unlocked by your previous provider.

If you bought your phone on a plan you should call the telco you purchased the phone from. You need to be out of contract to be unlocked.

Quite agree with Boris. Reading the bad reviews makes it clear there are many techno imbeciles who are so stupid they don't deserve to be on Aldi mobile.

Sounds like phone issue ..reboot or put sim card in another phone to test card account

I'm pretty sure you lose your data from your existing plan when you port to another Mobile Phone #. Might want to go direct to ALDI.

Log in to your account and raise a job ticket. Request a change of mobile number. Usually a telco will require strong reasons to change numbers, such as harassment, previous number holder calls etc.

I had a similar problem on a Samsung Galaxy S5. It wasn't the phone. I bought a new SIM for $5 and then ported my Phone Number over to the new SIM and this fixed the problem. Apparently a SIM cards can be 'faulty' and they are difficult to diagnose. I guess I could have made ALDI pay for the $5 new SIM however it would have been a laborious process judging by their Customer Service Reviews. Switching over to ALDI is saving me about $600 a year so I just took the $5 extra cost on the chin and I just wanted a fix for my phone so I could receive calls.

It is a new Aldi sim with new number.

Have you activated 3G & 4G in settings and turned off 2G ?.

Well, if you already recharged 30 minutes earlier, why would you be trying to recharge again ?.

Had you read the terms and conditions, all pre-paid phone plans regardless of the Telco, do not allow access to premium numbers such as; 1900, 1902 etc. You must have an account on post-paid with a Telco.

Its more a case of, will a phone that's been criticised by Tech Guru's around the world as being a DUD be compatible with the Telstra frequencies. In theory it should work, but I highly doubt its a SIM or network issue.

You could extend your large extra terrestrial index finger and "phone home" where the operator may say "please deposit $6,000,000 for the first minute" or, simply depress the SIM from the base card.
