Really unhelpful staff
Had an online gift voucher from our son. Long story, finally got to use it. Still has $50 credit but the paperwork they gave me back is not sufficient to use the credits. Worst part was the unhelpful person at the register. Disgusted. Won't shop there again.

No replacement for damage Products
I purchased a 6 x 3 spinifex PREMIUM 11 Gazebo at Maribyrnong store. They are of cheap design and material. The material did damage in the wind and when I tried to get a replacement top at the store service. They don't have them. The manager comment was " We are a billion dollar company" and unable to talk directly to our warehouse and find out if we are going to get any. It took 2 weeks to find this out. Stores wonder why buyers go on line. I ask to talk to the Manager but he was. No Help! No Concern!

Not impressed with the customer service !!!
Well I went to an Anaconda store today on the Gold Coast and was appalled at the lack of care and service I received !
Lazy, lazy all the way !
A fantastic store with amazing stock but not much help was offered !
Only one staff behind the counter that didn't move or try to help and no other staff on the floor !
No customer service !
Not going back to that store again !

Waste of time
Against my better judgement, I make the trek to a store after checking online and calling store, yes 12 in stock. Same old story, when I arrived, no stock, plenty on system though. Usual waste of time, when is retail in Aus just going to give up store fronts and focus on online!

Terrible service West Gosford
Bought 2 bikes LAST sunday, they tell me it will be ready for pick up on Tuesday, I called on Wednesday to chase...they cant find my order, called on Thursday to chase, cant find me either but will look and call me back. finally called me back to say that the person who builds bikes is sick the whole week and i have to wait till next sunday to hopefully being able to pick the bike... they could have at least call to let customers know of the situation...They sell you a demo bike as new and on top of that asked me to pay for building fee when it was already built for the store to display! terrible service I will never buy from that store again!

The worst customer service
Just walked in to buy Salmon Hiking shoes!
There was an employee who was right behind me fixing signs! Totally ignoring me then I turned around and asked if he works in this shoe section this was his reply without looking at me
“Ur not really, what do you want”
I was so shocked by his reply, action & inattention I said “don’t worry” so he kept at doing his job!
He didn’t stop, turn around and say “not I don’t but let me get the right person” just left me there!
I was prepared to spend money! Bad employee, money lost! So my feet are doing the talking somewhere else who really wants my money!

Anaconda camping & outdoors shop is a very huge shop. I went in to buy some camping gear and I was very surprised with the professional way the huge shop is done. Most pleasing for me was that they have many different types of tents erected, so I could see tents in their "Real life" size and shape and materials.
I could easily write 5 more paragraphs on how professional this anaconda shop is . ( cairns ) .
10 out of 10 excellent .

I'm a customer with money to spend!
I visited the Mile End SA store in the first week of July 2022 looking to purchase a high quality down jacket in the price range up to AUD $450.00 (e.g. North Face, HH, Marmot etc). Plenty of winter clothing on sale and plenty of staff on the floor but no assistance. e replied didn't know / wasn't familiar with down jackets. Employee could have called another staff member with specific product knowledge - but didn't. Looks like I'll be shopping elsewhere again. I had the same poor / indifferent customer service experience 5 years ago when looking for a new down jacket but I spent my money elsewhere. I thought I'd give Anaconda another chance, but not much point really as not much has changed in the customer service area. Are Anaconda doing so well that they can afford to provide poor / indifferent customer service? p.s. I made a small purchase on the day and checkout staff were ok. p.p.s. I want to be clear, I don't want this particular employee to be in trouble, as I think Anaconda's problem goes higher than that and it seems to be a systemic problem. Helpful staff
The staff in Anaconda's Hobart store were helpful. The employee at the register helped me figure out how to get my adventure club discount without the card arriving yet. Also waited for me to get my phone from the car for the confirmation email and didn't put me to the back of the line.

On 30 June, 2022 we visited Anaconda Cambridge Tasmania to purchase a number of snow related clothing items, etc for an impending trip. When we returned home, we found the security tag still attached to one of the receipted items. I rang the store to enquire as to how to remove. This was not possible so had to return to the store the next day. Cameron was very helpful. Mediocre Service - Rockdale Store
I bought a pair of Merrell hiking shoes and within 2 months of purchase, noticed the tread on the bottom had split.
I went into the store to have the shoes replaced. The staff provided me with a slip and advised I should hear back from them within 2 weeks.
I called them today to get an update as 2+ weeks had lapsed - The person I spoke to said it can take up to a month and it's not their (Anaconda's) fault of the lengthy wait, it's on Merrell.
The staff member did not apologise nor really care that I received wrong information when returning the shoes.
I'll be making a trip into the store to speak to the Manager as so far, my experience with both product and service has been mediocre at best...

BEWARE - Got baited into argument with predator staff member who wouldn't stop insulting me. I tried to leave a number of time but he kept insulting me.
He knew camera wouldn't record sound so knew his verbal abuse would go unrecorded. Made official complaint to HQ but was followed up by the store management. Store management was polite but obviously trained and practiced at protecting the store and employee. It was also obvious the way the staff member was insulting in various ways it was practiced to trigger verbally knowing camera won't record sound. Great setup for a predator. - BEWARE

Poor service on faulty product
Purchased a pair of hiking boots 6 weeks ago and they started to come apart at a seam. Initially advised the shoes would need to be checked under warranty and may take a while. Boots were needed for a trek the following week so this was not suitable. Then advised they could replace them but would need to get a pair from another store but this could take 2 weeks (even though store with boots in stock only 20 minutes away). After 45 minutes working through this I decided to pick up new boots myself.

Broken rod... replaced on the spot
Bought a new rod. It snapped on the first use.. the Logan store replaced the rod on the spot and even spooled it for me with the line that I had put on the one I bought.

Good quality products but let down by staff who can't be bothered
Went to Rutherford store. Good range of cold weather gear. Stocking up for boarding overseas three of us. Had cash to buy what we needed. Unfortunately the two girls were too busy talking to assist so we left and went to Aldi snow sale instead....

Worst customer service ever encountered
we purchased and expensive tent from Anaconda and when we first used it, we noticed 4 holes in it. We returned it to the store as it was brand new; they kept it for a week then rang me to tell me that they were sending it away to be assessed. we are planning another trip away and now do not have our $1,199 tent! I'm not happy with this service as you obviously do not stand by the products you sell! even speaking to the Dept of Fair Trading and they have told me that goods should be fit for purpose and a tent with holes in it, is not! I shall never shop there again!

Price Match - NOT!!!
Went to Midland, WA store for Hiking shoe sale and found a pair I wanted. Checked it online and found another Australian based store had the same shoe for a cheaper price. Went to check out and girl there said "no worries" when I asked if she would price match and I showed her the website of the store that had the cheaper shoe. Anaconda in Mackay is reasonably new, the prices are decent and they do have some really good specials. customer service lets this place down big time though, well the lack of customer service anyways, you feel like your bothering them every time your in there or approach the counter don't even think about calling omg the way you get spoken to is atrocious. I will still shop here when they have specials but they do really need to pick up there customer service game.

Anaconda service
A pleasant experience at Anaconda Port Macquarie store the lady staff member was friendly and helpful store was well displayed and ready for Easter holiday requirements. I'll be going back when l need products for camping, footware, kayaks and items in that line. The Customer service at this store made my trip there a lot better thank you.
