I’ve been waiting almost 22 days for a package which was shipped from a warehouse about 10km from where I live. This is in WA btw. Last scanned on 11/03/2022 stating that it was received by Auspost and ready for processing. Tracking number: 34VFN533003601000931502
When queried with Aus post, I received a pathetic email stating that packages are delayed due to floods in NSW and QLD, there are no floods in WA!
Spent 50 minutes on hold multiple times, spoke with someone who couldnt help me and told me to do the same thing (something that i physically could not do) over and over again. Not listening when I explained multiple times why i could not do that. When I asked to speak to another team member or supervisor she refused and left me on hold for another ten minutes. Again I asked to be put through to her supervisor, i was polite and asked nicely over ten times just for her to say "no, i need to terminate this call now" and hang up on me.
I sent a Nintendo Switch that I sold online with Australia post the tracking is 99706460353501000830908
Sent on the 2nd of March it's now nearly a month later and the last update was on the 10th saying it's delayed and waiting to be delivered but I've contacted Australia post and they have no idea where it is or if it will be delivered and won't start an investigation until next month
I have the buyer asking me where it is and saying it's a joke and Aus post not helping me at all :( safe to say I won't be using them anymore

Flood, Covid, truck got stolen, van got stolen, the post van got lit on fire. Wow the amount of excuses. I wish I could fly to the aus post HQ and burn the place to the ground, why even have a postal service ahahahaha - People just use dhl, toll, northline, go logistics, tnt, any other courier service expect australia post, pay the extra, use a better service, you can’t use express post, pay for insurance with aus post? Don’t worry they will still loose your parcel, oh, you don’t have proof of the value of your item ? Here’s $100 HAHAHAHAHA what a joke, stupid Australia post, stupid government, stupid country

Zero Accountability And Responsibility By Auspost For Criminal Activity
I purchased shoes from Brand House Direct and cancelled the order prior to dispatch but the two boxes were still sent against my wishes. Not marked Box 1 of 2 and Box 2 of 2. Had to return twice to collect both items. Immediately dispatched both boxes Return to Sender from an AUSPOST LPO and he took the Couriers Please boxes and said NOTHING. The male AUSPOST staff member also did not communicate that there is zero tracking with Return to Sender items. The smaller box was returned to Brand House Direct but the larger box, approx 40 X 30 X ...
Read more10 cms has gone missing with any trace. AUSPOST does not want to waste time looking for the box and although I have emailed five DIFFERENT AUSPOST customer service staff members, not one has assisted me. No investigation and I have nothing for my money. Forget auspost for all internal postage unless you have the highest level of insurance for your item as you will receive nothing if it goes missing and zero accountability and responsibility on their part. AUSPOST should not be sending Couriers Please boxes return to sender without tracking. ALL ITEMS SENT THROUGH AUSPOST SHOULD BE TRACKABLE. I am a Department of Veterans' Affairs TPI (totally and permanently incapacitated) pensioner who has been flood affected in Brisbane.
Been through the ringer with this hopeless excuse of a postage service, Lost my parcel when it returned to my local depot, countless trips to the post office, countless promises of returned phone calls, Complaints department are quiet happy to not bother responding for weeks at a time until you further pester them, Parcel is presumably stolen...Offered $100 refund. AND STILL HAVNT EVEN GOT THAT?! Employing thieves and letting them get away with it at your customers expense, shameful, call yourself AUSTRALIAN post.
If I could give no stars I would. I Had a parcel delivered today that never arrived and being expensive isn't good!
$350 pair of Nike's Vapormax shoes that we needed for this weekend was delivered to someone else's house.
It was the only size 13 Nike Vapormax shoes in the colour we wanted in Australia.
Not happy!
Pretty disappointed in Australia post, I returned a parcel using their service to something I bought online. The vendor has now 3 weeks later saying they have not received the returned item so I can get my refund. Australia Post tracking says that it has not been delivered and is likely lost in transit. Pretty disappointing.
Australia Post doesn't deliver and will give your sensitive documents out to complete strangers
For 4+ years now i have been battling with Australia Post to be able to receive my mail. They don't reliably deliver parcels and whoever handles the deliveries often doesn't deliver on time or at all purely on a whim. They delivered my mail to a completely wrong address in the next town over and I had to fight with the customer service representative to resolve this issue, The silly thing is the address wasn't so similar that there should have been confusion, the problem is that the delivery staff are lazy. furthermore hundreds of dollars worth...
Read more of parcels were just handed over at the post office without the representative even checking to confirm the identity of the person collecting, nor did post try to resolve the issue after they were found to be at fault. If all of the above wasn't bad enough the same post office delivered numerous sensitive documents to the same wrong address after the previous delivery issue was logged in their system, everything from time sensitive medical documentation and identity documents to banking details and cards. Post deliver my sensitive information directly into the hands of known thieves. If there was an alternative service available I would use it.Find out how Australia Post compares to other Services

Haven't receive the parcels yet. Two Parcels dispatched different dates end of Dec. last year 2021. Sender emailed the tracking no. one tracking no. showing delayed and the other one pending. 3 months now haven't received any items. After few inquiries got the refund from sender. Don't know where they are. Bit disappointed with the services.

Ten days after the item was first scanned, I look at the tracking and see the same line of crap I always see: "Delivery Attempted"
Realistically, no delivery was attempted. No card left, nothing. By the end of the day, it still hadn't found it's way back to an inconvenient post office across town so I thought I best phone them and enquire as to why they -a delivery company- can't ever seem to actually deliver anything to me.
I waited on hold for half an hour, then spoke to an AusPost representative who was ultimately less help than being on h...
Read moreold. It all got a bit heated when she wanted private information that no postal worker has any business knowing. Naturally, she was unable to verify I am who I say I am unless I give out a series of personal details to a stranger over the phone (because privacy, she explained without even a hint of irony). Therefore, she was unable to help. 'Customer enquiry' was swiftly added to the tracking.. which was quickly removed along with the rest of the tracking history. The tracking number has essentially been deleted. eBay, for some reason, interpreted this as 'successfully delivered'. I'm going to have them chase it up. PayPal too. I have everything recorded. It's just annoying..- 32 reviews

Purchased an expensive item from France paid post has been sitting in Australia Post facility in Melbourne since 1st March and now is showing a new tracking number and it says to contact seller no reason given dont know where it is. Cant contact you. Your company is beyond a nightmare and should be closed down.
Original Tracking Number: CC018196807FR
New Tracking Number since hitting Australia: EB018196807FR
No one has bothered to contact me despite my numerous requests - Just disgusting.

I'd give you no stars if I could. This is unacceptable behaviour by auspost. We got important papers today and they are damaged and torn on places, this from shoving our mail into the mailbox. Clearly it couldn't fit as we had another large mail package inside but no auspost shoved it in and now we need to contact the hospital and have them resent. Terrible people, no work ethics. Do you're job your paid for properly or quit and get another, useless delivery people! And further more you're delivery drivers can't even bring my packages up to my door instead stay down stairs and expect me to carry my items upstairs when clearly my address is upstairs!
Australia post is the most absolute worst Service in the history of Man! Delivery never left at door -absolutely useless! Morrison must go as he is in charge of this ineffective service!!

Item goes into Welshpool Australia post sorting and 7 days later still has not moved. Received Sydney on 7th at 9:35 am and tracked across Australia arriving Welshpool at 10th March 2:03am
Spent more time in Welshpool than travelling across Australia.
As you can see expected delivery 16th March.

Got an e-mail advising that package I was expecting had been delivered to our local LPO.
Take the e-mail and barcode to the LPO and they deny receiving the item although they didn't even bother going out the back to look.
Report the issue via My Post.
Australia Post's response?
"We'll start to look into this delayed delivery in 15 days"
It's been delivered!
Contact the LPO and tell them to do their job

Worst Postal service ever its disgraced the CEOs of this company run such a poor business yet paid so much
I had an item that arrived in Welshpool about a month ago, on the 17th Feb and it has not moved since . Yet 4-5 other posted items from the same seller that were posted at the same time and arrived in Welshpool on the same date have arrived within a week of arrive there .
On the tracking details of the missing item it says if hasn't arrived by the 9th to contact Australia post to lodge an inquiry .
So I called up and told by Australia post staff to basically have to wait another month to lodge an inquiry as it was delayed due to the rail ...
Read moreroad . Tried to explain to them that the item has been in WA for over a month now and not moved . Yet there customer service staff just blindly read off a compiled list of replies drafted by some manager at Australia post with out actually looking into the issue . There replies have been so far 1. Delayed due to rail road flooded - yet been in Perth at Welshpool for a month now and will not be travelling by rail road from Welshpool to my address in WA ?Paid express international delivery 6-11 days to deliver. Package still in australia 13 days later. Booked for a flight - is latest update. Charging express for snail mail?! Dishonest and greedy!
They simply drop a message tat you are NOT in home indeed you are very much in home and then they make you to stand on Q to collect the item in post office, then what is the point of home delivery?
Moreover they are extremely unapologetic for what they do, my advice Not to use them or keep them as last option!!
Terrible Service. Always delayed and never feel guilty always thinking to find an excuse to avoid any compensation. Worst Company! Terrible customer service and think the delay is normal and nobody cares about my customers.

Seems to be Australia Posts new way of not doing their job properly. Not attempting delivery, then claiming there is no safe place to leave the parcel. In Southern River W.A. Surely this would be worthy of a class action? Any lawyers out there? They are taking money and not delivering a service (literally). I have no doubt that they will blame COVID, the rail line, supply chain issues, blah, blah, blah. Avoid them at all costs. They do not care about their customers, only their corporate clients.

Australia Post is holding international packages for months when they arrive in the country. If you call them they lie to you and tell you it's not their fault, and if you leave messages asking for help with your package that is being held hostage, they completely ignore you. Terrible, terrible service.
I have had two parcels (Uni books) within 2 weeks damaged because the curier left one in the rain and folded the other.
I got my 2 parcels within 2 weeks from each other and one was left in the rain. This ruined my 2 expensive uni books. I got my other one today and it was folded in my mailbox and this has ruined the cover and the pages.
