I do NOT recommend - parcel “lost”
International EconomyThis is a very expensive and dreadful service. I do NOT recommend.
After waiting months for delivery I’ve now been told parcel ‘appears’ to be lost. How does a parcel with a tracking number get lost?

International EconomyI can't thank Australia Post personell enough for the care they've taken to assist me. My fathers war medals were incorrectly addressed by the sender and delivered accordingly yesterday. Lia our local postie delivered them as addressed. The Concourse post office were most caring and took exemplary steps to follow through, even a passing postie was concerned. Lia, turned up today with the precious medals after allerted to the situation. Full marks Lia, she seemed to suspect something was wrong. I wont forget this service as I can now wear Dads medals with pride on Saturday. Thanks Lia, thanks everyone, wonderful effort.

International EconomyWorst experience in my life at a Sydney post office by this small Asian lady wanting me to pay more than I should for a medium sized envelope with some stationary. In total I paid $38 because she was useless at her job. They all deserve to be fired for making postage’s more expensive than it should be. I want a refund immediately. Will not be back to Sydney post offices with rude demeanour and aggressive behaviour

DELETE SMALL LETTER OPTION
International EconomySeriously Australia Post goes from bad to worse!
I sent an A5 Size Letter a couple of weeks ago to the UK and it cost $3.50. Today I went to the Post Office to send the same size letter and was told that a Small Letter has now been deleted from the Australia Post options and my A5 envelope is now considered a Large Letter costing $12.90!!! Seriously, how is this even possible? Australia Post should be done for price gauging! The only options are a DL Size Business Envelope or an A4 Size Letter at $12.90 with nothing in between. Who makes these decisions? And how is it possible that the ridiculous prices keep increasing 10-20% at a time when service is getting worse and worse?

International EconomyI had a parcel/letter returned to me today 14.7.2023 that I posted on the 19.6 2023,
To America,no boxes were ticked giving the reason why. When I rang enquiries, always the same can't help you without a tracking no.
I paid 13.50 for the item which met the weight and measuring criteria,
For tracking I was told it would be $30.00, more than double the price.
I suggested that if someone returns an item, they sign it so you can find out why it is being returned, but Oh no it is done by a machine,
There were five boxes with different reasons for the r
Unreasonable delay
International EconomyMy book from an international seller is held up after arriving in the country. It indicates arrived Melbourne, no tracking is available after 3 July 2023. I require that book for an academic purpose and what is the point in having the book after the semester is half way through. No responsible person seems looking in to this recurring issue with domestic postal delay. Mine is a personal delivery. Feel sorry for businesses, how can they run with this type of unproductive logistical situation?

International EconomyAbsolutely crap!!!! Sent a parcel of 2kilo cost more to send than the item inside. Was to go from Brisbane to Brazil. Ended up in Miami due to the woman incorrectly adding the country. It was returned back to Brisbane, but the cheeky moron decided to hitch a ride over to Western Australia for a dirty weekend. No idea where it is and Australia Post couldn’t give a rats butt. Glad the CEO is getting the millions a year he is or she whom ever it is maybe its a they them. Useless!!!
Just an update todays date is the 18/06/23. The parcel spent a wee

Slow service
International EconomyBirthday card posted from England on 13th January just arrived to the address in Sydney on 8 Feb! A very slow aeroplane obviously! It’s not the English end I am sure as their mail is still delivered in a day or two within the country. I have given up buying cards myself here and posting over there as they take so long to get there . I buy from a service there which I know will get the card delivered on time. Not good for Aus businesses though.

International EconomyI sent the package on 13/12/2022. The latest update is on 19/12/2022 "Ready for postal carrier to collect"
I called on 28/12/2022 the Customer service expressing my concern about the unchanged status and was asked to give it more time. I grew more concerned for the whereabouts of this costly package and called them again a few days later. There seems to be a pattern for their Customer service - you are directed to a different person every time ( The persons you talked to before are then off the hook), you repeat the same concern and they repea

I have already been waiting three months for this parcel to come from LA, it arrives in SYDNEY WEST a month ago only to be stuck in transit to HOBART since then? I mean, I don’t know what I should be upset more at - it stuck in transit or the fact it is going in the opposite direction to where I live (BRISBANE)?

I ordered products from an Australian pet shop to be delivered to my door in Cape Town, South Africa. Currently tracking shows as awaiting collection in South Africa. Does this mean it’s been handed over to the post office or a local delivery company?
Hi Jade,
I understand you're inquiring about your order's status, currently showing as "awaiting collection" in South Africa after being shipped from an Australian pet shop. This status generally indicates that your package has arrived in South Africa and is now in the custody of either the local postal service or a delivery company in your country. It's likely awaiting either your collection or further processing for delivery to your address.
For specific details, I recommend contacting South Africa's postal service or the local delivery company handling international shipments. You may also want to reach out to the Australian pet shop for any additional information they might have.
(Please note, I'm not affiliated with Australia Post or any other company, and this information is based on general practices in international shipping.)
Hi. On the 1 August 2023 I sent a bottle of Tasmanian Whisky as a gift to a friend in Northern Ireland. The package went quickly through customs and on to the Air Courier. The parcel has not moved from there since they received it on 7 August. This whisky was very expensive $285 for 500ml. I have contacted Australia Post who have advised that it is still there but said they can't look into it until the end of the month. This parcel has cost me $79.25 in postage and I am honestly thinking that someone has read the label at the Air Carrier and decided they will take that home.....surely this could be the only reason that it has not progressed. I have a tracking number and I insured the parcel. Insuring it doesnt mean that someone can just take it home cause it is insured and they will get their money back and can buy another one. Well that is not the case as I cannot buy anymore bottles of this whisky as it has all sold out. I am very annoyed at this moment and want it investigated. Tracking number LK181337575AU
Sorry for the delay, I would be annoyed as well coming from Tasmania I can attest to the quality of the whiskey. I do believe customs can hold or stop numerous parcels regarding illegal substances.
No. It has already been passed by Customs. That happened on 4 August. It is the Air Courier that has it now and wont progress. As I said, I reckon someone at the air courier has taken possession of an exceptional bottle of whisky.
Hi, my parcel is still on the "awaiting clearance in Sydney'' status since 15 June 2023, I am just wondering if anyone is having the same situation of waiting for your parcel for a long long long~~time now?
