We booked our trip to Norfolk Island thru Australian Escapes at a fixed price, and there were no additional fees after we made our initial booking and payment. The trip met all our expectations and we had a wonderful time.

Consultant Alvin recommended LORHITI boutique apartments on Lord Howe Island .5 star apartments .Self catering. Slight uphill walk from town .Lots of great walks and tours. .Transport provided at no cost to and from most restaurants .Do not miss Chase n Thyme island bus tour. We have used Australian Escapes on other occasions and found them to be most courteous and efficient. The owner/managers and staff, at Lorhiti, are friendly and very helpful. We could not recommend this holiday package to anyone other than to those seeking a restful holiday.
Children are not normally provided for at Lorhiti.

At almost the last minute we booked a two week trip to Singapore. The trip was fabulous. Everything went as planned including being met at the airport, excellent accommodation and all our travel requests being met. We had originally planned a very different holiday, but had to change our plans. Very quickly our previous plans were cancelled and a new holiday was booked. Four days before we were due to leave we received our detailed travel plans and were all ready for a wonderful holiday. Thankyou to Ben and the team.

We booked flights and accommodation to Mackay for a wedding and everything went according to plan. No hiccups with flights or baggage. Accommodation was absolutely beautiful and was conveniently located to a major shopping center and restaurants so only a short walk was necessary. Had a great trip, did a Trafalgar Tour of the 4 countries which was fantastic. London's weather wasn't kind but accommodation was good. Train to Paris was a highlight, Eiffel Tower awesome. John, Ben & the team did a great job, helped us with a couple of problems, even though it was early morning Australian time. Thanks for making it a memorable trip.

All of our expectations were met, had a great time, saw lots in the time we had. The standard of the accommodation was good, the documentation was excellent, which was very helpful for first time travellers like us.

We can't thank the team at Australian Escapes enough, l broke my ankle a week before flying to Ireland for daughters wedding, the Doctor would only let me fly business class. Australian escapes managed to change all my bookings in only a weeks notice they were great to deal with, at such a stressfull time. All accomadation was lovely, and the airport pick up service was a terrific. Also the help they gave me claiming insurance was very much appreciated. Didn't know what to expect but we started with a wow. The accommodation in Vancouver blew us away. The Wedgewood Hotel was above expectations,central,helpful, nothing a bother. The Canadian Pacific Train journey, 4 days was relaxing. Definitely a train buff holiday activity. A great way to travel the breadth of Canada from Mountains,Savannah to prairies producing world class food products..The USA tour visited Montreal and Quebec fantastic cities. Then we ventured into historic areas of USA.Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Boston, New York. So much to see so little time.Up to Niagara Falls, so coooool. Organisation of tour was thorough. Documentation was excellent. Even receptionists commented on all the details.

Booked 21 Canadian/USA trip with a Rocky Mtn trip added to the package. The trip was wonderful, not really having any expectations. No major hassles or issues, thus planning was thorough and detailed.

We booked an 8 week European trip through Australian Escapes to initially attend my nephew's wedding in Greece and visit to family in Italy and Spain with travel throughout which was quite a task. It took a few revisions of the itinerary to accommodate our plans but it all went without a hitch. The service from John Greenbury was excellent. All emails were answered and phone calls returned as promised. We had a fantastic time and everything went to plan (bar flight delays and train cancellations - all part of traveling). Every detail of our trip was looked after including flights, ferries, tours, train tickets, accommodation, car hire, travel insurance etc all at a great price.

My wife and I used Australian Escapes to book a 13-day Russian river cruise on the Volga Dream. I don't think they'd heard of Volga Dream before I asked, but the team at Australian Escapes went to a lot of trouble to organise everything perfectly - including the very tiresome Russian visa application

I give them five stars because all the arrangements for our trip went like clockwork and they gave me a very good price

Our trip was amazing, could not fault Australian Escape. Accomodation all boutique hotels throughout Europe, It was totally stress free. Two River cruises on Modigliani and Symphonies, staff were fun but efficient.

Had a trip to Canada just recently. Booked through Australian Escapes. It was terrible. The 7 day Coach tour was only a 4 day run by Chinese tour co. ( 3rd party?). No breakfasts were included but were supposed to and even though we had documentation to say that, the Chinese company Super Vacations refused to accept that. Had to pay a lot extra with Service Tax at $10 per day. We are trying to get our money back. From day 1 it was a nightmare. No one seemed to know what they were doing. We had a cruise to Alaska too which was OK< If any one is looking at this tour I hope you like wasting time at a Ginseng factory and looking for meals as Chinese only orientated for meal plans, It is very rushed! and very tiring,

Offered a package for a holiday but refused to say where specific accom was unless I paid money in advance -- I declined and booked a cheaper trip myself. Continually harass for membership renewal with misleading promises -- eg flight vouchers

Had a phone call from this company wanting me to renew membership tho is not due til June. They said I had $4000 in credit tho I had not paid membership since its publicised problems over two years ago.. so I asked for a hypothetical holiday situation and which properties were available...they could not give me a direct answer but waffled around and said I would have to phone the travel agents .... I was a member for 8 years and never used it yet had only $4000 credit??? No thanks.
